I occasionally watch Jesse Waters and have heard him talk about his ultra liberal mom. Not sure talking about disagreements with your mom on national TV is a wise move. Maybe it's a guy thing.
At any rate....
Guess what! He's not invited to Thanksgiving -- no room at the table for Jesse and his family which includes his children. What a grandma who is willing to forgo a get together with her little grands because her panties are in a twist over the election.
It makes me laugh, kind of a rueful laugh, but this is the state of the liberal mind. My way or the highway. You're banned if you disagree with me.
Anyone who is experiencing this with Trump derangement relatives, let me tell you we still have room at the Camp Kreitzer table for Thanksgiving. I grew up in a big family where, after we were out and about and rearing our own children, we often gathered with 40+ for Thanksgiving dinner. I can still cook for a crowd.
If you want a good laugh read the article linked below and start praying now that there's nothing but joy and gratitude around your Thanksgiving table! I'm filling up my thanksgiving jar and we hope to read some of those "thankful messages" on turkey day.
Jesse Watters says his ultra-liberal mom didn’t invite him for Thanksgiving, ‘she said it was a scheduling situation’
Don Oñate stepped forward to read the official proclamation:

Ah, it goes both ways. My practice partner is an independent who doesn’t care for Trump, and I don’t know how or if he voted. A patient asked (during the exam, mind you!) how he felt about the election. My partner said only: I don’t think that’s relevant to your health. The patient said: if you aren’t for Trump, I’m not coming back to see you anymore. My partner and the nurse laughed a little, and continued the exam. When he left, the patient told the whole front desk and the waiting room that “this practice is run by a bunch of libs” and stormed out. Then he called in later and verbally abused the receptionist. People’s emotions are high and a lot on both sides are going to have rough holidays.
ReplyDeleteGood point. I just wish everyone would treat everyone else with respect even if they don't respect others' opinions. Many people make decisions with little information. We need to stop treating people like everything they do is motivated by malice. Most of the time it's more likely to be motivated by ignorance and feelings. Critical thinking is pretty rare these days.
