What's Not on the Ballot in Virginia is the Most Important Issue in the Race!

Many Virginians are probably unaware of an abortion amendment that is making its way through the Virginia legislature. It allows all abortions up to birth. Do you remember when Virginia's former governor, Ralph Northam, went even beyond killing babies in the womb up to delivery? He publicly stated that after birth parents and the doctor could decide whether to kill a baby (presumably by neglect) after birth. There is no limit to the Democrats' willingness to murder people at any stage of life, from the little one in the womb to the sick and elderly near the end of life. You can read the full bill, Senate Joint Resolution 247, here. But this is the essence:

An individual's right to reproductive freedom shall not be, directly or indirectly, denied, burdened, or infringed upon unless justified by a compelling state interest achieved by the least restrictive means. Notwithstanding the above, the Commonwealth may regulate the provision of abortion care in the third trimester, provided that in no circumstance shall the Commonwealth prohibit an abortion (i) that in the professional judgment of a physician is medically indicated to protect the life or physical or mental health of the pregnant individual or (ii) when in the professional judgment of a physician the fetus is not viable. The Commonwealth shall not discriminate in the protection or enforcement of this fundamental right.

Sounds like abortion can be restricted in the third trimester eh? Nope, the mental health loophole is wide enough to kill that poor baby during labor. We've seen it with past legislation including Roe v. Wade and its companion, Doe v. Bolton, which allowed abortion in the first six months for no reason and the last three months for any reason. What is being suggested is a state Roe v. Wade!

Protect Virginia's Constitution. Don't let radical Democrats destroy our state!

The two Virginia bishops and the Catholic conference have issued warnings about the danger of this bill and another bill that would remove the definition of marriage as between one man and one woman:

The proposed amendment has prompted a significant effort by Catholic leaders in the state to raise awareness among local Catholics about the serious impact their vote could have in November.  

Virginia Catholic Conference issued a warning in their Election 2025 Resource Hub, stating that November’s elections hold an “outsized impact” on Virginia as state legislators ready themselves to decide on “an extreme constitutional amendment establishing a ‘right’ to abortion.”

The conference also issued a flyer to educate the public on the abortion bill as well as two other important amendments that are soon to be decided, including one that would “remove Virginia’s ‘union between one man and one woman’ definition of marriage.

As the significance of the election grows, Bishops Burbidge and Knestout concluded their letter by urging Catholics to intensify their efforts in prayer and fasting.

“With so much at stake, we must prepare to engage in this year’s critical voting decisions – through conscience formation, prayer and fasting,” the bishops wrote.

“United in the Eucharist, let us pray for one another and join together as active participants in promoting the common good.”

So, listen up, Virginia voters. If you vote for a Democrat in the upcoming election, you will be an aider and abetter in passing these evil constitutional amendments which attack the very foundation of morality. The demons hate the family as Sister Lucia of Fatima pointed out when she said the last battle would be over the family. Attack marriage and you attack the family. Attack the little one in the womb and you attack fruitful married love and the very image of God in His littlest human creation.

How will you answer the Lord, especially you Catholic voters, when He asks on the day of Judgment, "What did you do to the least of my little ones? What did you do to protect marriage and the family?" This is the reality of abortion and the attack on sacrificial love and marital fidelity. Do you want to be guilty of holding the hand of the abortionist as he murders a baby? If you vote for the Democrats that is exactly what you will be doing.

We're seeing in in Portland. We saw it on the stage in Utah when Charlie Kirk was assassinated. We saw it on the ball field when Steve Scalise was shot. And we saw it in Butler, PA and on the golf course when assassins tried to kill President Trump. My response to Spanberg: "I'll let my faith fuel me and will pray like everything depends on God and work like everything depends on me!"

Let every Virginia man and woman of good will vote a straight Republican ticket in response to the Democrat rage that is the greatest threat to our Democracy. Don't give these folks any more power to do evil.
