Thought for the Day from Ann Barnhardt: Shame is Medicinal!

I love this article by Ann Barnhardt! She is so insightful!

The Key Character in Brideshead Revisited Is Mrs. Beryl Muspratt

Brideshead Revisited is one of my favorite novels. Sad, but in many ways glorious. What a story of sin, repentance, and redemption! The movie with Jeremy Irons is also wonderful. (Caveat: There is one graphic bedroom scene.)

To be confronted with our sin is, indeed, a blessed gift of God. Those who don't believe in the existence of hell, but live according to its standards, are in for a rude awakening on Judgement Day. Better to have a rude awakening now! And it is a charity to love others, but call them gently to repentance even if they hate you for it. The death of Lord Marchmain displays the power of grace through the ministry of the Church. He has lived a sinful life with a hatred for the church but dies reconciled. Note the recitation of the Confiteor in Latin.

Ivermectin Horse Paste Miraculously Cures Me From Covid in Three Hours

Jesus bringing me ivermectin horse paste from the feed store

In 1918 my grandfather died in Stafford, Virginia from the Spanish flu pandemic. He died, as did millions of others, from the Spanish flu's secondary infection: bacterial pneumonia. Therefore two years ago when I refused to get the Covid vaccine my younger daughter, trying to guilt-trip me into getting the shot, said, "You should be ashamed of yourself! If your grandfather had been able to have a vaccine he wouldn't have died!"

I explained that the millions of deaths from the Spanish flu were caused not because the flu was a viral infection and there was no vaccine, but because it turned into bacterial pneumonia and in 1918 the miracle drug of penicillin had not yet been discovered. It wasn't discovered until 1928 and even then not put on the market until 1942. In 1945 the three scientists involved in the development of penicillin were awarded the Nobel Prize in Physiology or Medicine.

Ivermectin is another miracle drug. It was discovered in 1975, approved for human use in 1987 and in 2015 the two men responsible for its discovery and development were awarded the Nobel Prize for Physiology and Medicine. Ivermectin is on the World Health Organization's List of Essential Medicines and is approved by the FDA as an anti-parasitic agent so why is there such animosity against prescribing ivermectin to combat Covid? Ann Barnhardt explains that HERE. She answers all other ivermectin questions HERE.

And Jesus said, "It's whip o'clock, baby"

Today at Mass we were reminded to reflect the face of Jesus. Does my face reflect the face of Jesus? Yes, it truly does.

Since ex-Cardinal, Theodore McCarrick's filth was uncovered - which is a ruse in itself since many bishops had known of McCarrick's homosexual activities for years and the payouts emanating from various charges against him decades ago and still raised him to the Cardinalate - my face most certainly reflects the face of Jesus.

It's an angry face filled with disdain, contempt and scorn and just like Jesus, the zeal of thy house has eaten me up, and so, again, just like Jesus, I'll fashion me a whip because it's whip o'clock, baby. (Thanks to Ann Barnhardt for this expression.)

Meanwhile, I have single-handedly discovered verses left out of the Bible concerning Jesus' cleansing of the Temple. Here they are below:

Photo of Vatican Crib Scene Rejected by Facebook!

Does anyone in this scene look happy?
Sometimes you just gotta laugh! It's not a mirthful laugh, but a head-shaking laugh. And those seem to be growing in number when you see what's happening at the Vatican.

"Take a break!" you say. It's Christmas after all.

But what is the Vatican giving us for Christmas? A nativity scene with a manly Mary and a naked guy who looks like he just got off his treadmill after exercising his abs. And those arm muscles! He clearly lifts weights as well. All I can say is this naked guy must have a benefactor feeding him well. But, get this you defenders of the indefensible, Facebook nixed the image as too offensive for an ad on its pages. Would that the Vatican had done the same!

Then there are the ugly and frightening depictions like the dead body and the prison scene.

This Disastrous Papacy and the Big Question!

Will the real pope please stand up!
I've always admired Phil Lawler for his integrity and clear writing as well as his charity. So when I saw his article, This Disastrous Papacy, in the March 16th issue of The Wanderer; I read it carefully.

He minces no words. Acknowledging that he criticized the two former popes for what he considered imprudent actions, he then stresses that "never did it cross my mind that [they] posed any danger to the integrity of the Catholic faith." Then he writes more pointedly about Pope Francis:

Hmmm...Maybe It's Time to Stop Letting Demons into Your Home

I read about a saint years ago, perhaps Elizabeth Seton, who had a vision of a box inside homes that provided an entrance to the devil to attack the family. The article below shows exactly how demonic that "box" is. Do you care about your kids? Maybe it's time to consider eliminating the filth before your children are totally corrupted!
