Guest Post: Will You Let Your Beloved Feed You on Christmas Morning?

How do you think of Jesus? Is He your beloved? Do you want Him to be? 

Think of how lovers feed one another at their wedding in a profound gesture of trust and commitment. "I love you; I trust you. My hands will only do good to you, never harm." 

Think of a baby being fed, or a little bird opening its mouth to receive nourishment. Receiving the Eucharist on the tongue is a humble gesture of total trust in the Divinity.

Do you want to give Jesus a gift of love on Christmas morning? Receive Him on the tongue and, if possible, on your knees. 

"Come to me, Lord Jesus. I am little and helpless and I want to be fed by you. I will not grasp you, but will receive you on my tongue from the hands of the priest in trustful humility. Come, Lord Jesus, come!"
