This is especially bad news for Arlington since our bishop, Paul Loverde, has reached 75 and will be retiring. He was no paragon of orthodoxy, but wasn't able to do too much damage because of our large number of solid priests. Hopefully that will continue, although we've lost a number of good priests during Bishop Loverde's tenure.
