Editor's comment: I think the observations in this guest post are spot on. Deviance will take the heat as long as what they're promoting gets attention. Do they hope to reach a fatigue threshhold where people just stop pushing back because they've been surrounded on the battlefield? One military strategy is to outflank your opponent.
