I'll be honest. I'm tired of being told how unprecedented the situation with the coronavirus is. Are we hearing this because people are totally ignorant of history? The 1918 Spanish Influenza epidemic infected a quarter of the world's population at the time and killed millions including Jacinta and Francisco Marto, the seers of Fatima.

It was an HiNi virus like the swine flu and there were no antibiotics at the time to handle secondary bacterial infections. A big difference in that pandemic from today's was how hard it hit the little ones and those in the prime of life with the highest death toll among those younger than five, age 20-40, and the elderly over 65. It seems the Lord has cast a net of protection around the least ones, so abandoned in this evil age.

A second case is already suspected and dozens of people including children in several different schools have been exposed. Few people alive today remember the Spanish Inluenza epidemic after World War I that killed 20-40 million people, more than the war. It decreased the anticipated lifespan in the U.S. by ten years.

Will ebola become the Spanish Influenza of the 21st century? Let's pray not, but it's pretty clear the Obama policies on open borders and the refusal to impose drastic travel restrictions from countries infected with ebola threaten the population of the U.S.

And just think, the feds are putting these illegals with serious diseases on buses and planes and shipping them to all parts of the country. Just wait until TB, swine flu, adult chicken pox, dengue, Ebola, polio, leprosy, plus other unknown but lethal diseases start popping up in our major cities. Think how fast they can spread in the schools, playgrounds, theaters, malls, and other public places in your community.

Where is the CDC in all this? Think about how they quarantine one or two cases of a serious disease. But now, not only is nothing being done to identify and quarantine folks with potentially lethal illnesses like ebola, but they are spreading the potential contact by moving people around on public transportation. Think of the border detention centers where illegals are warehoused in close quarters -- a perfect petrie dish for explosive spread of contagious diseases.

Study history. After World War I, 675,000 Americans died from the Spanish Influenza as doughboys brought the virus home. Twenty to forty million died globally, most between the ages of 20 and 40. More people died in one year than in the infamous Bubonic Plague (the Black Death) of the Middle Ages. Read about it here; it was the most devastating pandemic in world history. It killed the two little shepherd children of Fatima, Francisco and Jacinta.
