....and Catholic schools at ALL LEVELS that scandalize your children.



I graduated from Trinity in 1968 and walked out the church door a few months later. Fortunately, my insanity didn't last long. (I credit my youthful devotion to Our Lady and my good Catholic upbringing for that!) When I got engaged in 1969, my future husband and I faced the serious question of how to raise our childen. Obviously, we couldn't do that on our own, sinful humans as we are. We knew our limits! So we went to confession, back to church, and embraced the faith with gusto with all its difficult and challenging truths!

Is Nancy Pelosi Channeling the Dead?

One of these events occurred at my alma mater (and Nancy's) Trinity Washington University which grieves me very much. But read more here. This woman has turned her back on the Catholic Church while she pretends to be, and actually calls herself, a "devout Catholic." I'd believe her if she called herself a devout democrat or a devout feminist or a devout pro-abort, but she sure ain't a devout Catholic. She gets away with it because the mainstream media panders to Catholic heretic politicians. To bad the media aren't in charge at the pearly gates.

Kathleen Sebelius: Cheerleader of Child-Killing

Kathleen Sebelius is a Catholic, at least nominally, as most people know. Sebelius recently spoke at a NARAL fundraiser saying, "We are in a war." And she is...with the targeted population being babies in the womb. What she meant, however, was that, despite the fact that most employers provide coverage for contraception and abortifacient drugs, she will not rest until the rebels are brought under the dictatorial heel of the federal hobnailed boot. The Planned Parenthood/NARAL lobby demands it and Sebelius is their lacky. Conscience must bend to their evil agenda. (See Wall Street Journal.)

Where did Sebelius learn to separate her Catholic faith from her public "service?" Where did she learn the kind of "integrity" that allows killing children to be the centerpiece of her politics? Sad to say, at a "Catholic" school. Sebelius was a sophomore at Trinity College in Washington, D.C. when I was a senior there. And how Trinity loves her. She and her fellow pro-abort, Nancy Pelosi, are the darlings of their alma mater. Trinity has a banner in their main hall hailing Pelosi and often speak aout the "Trinity women among Washington's most powerful." Trinity, alas, has no shame.

Pelosi and Sebelius aren't the only grads putting their politics above integrity. Margaret Williams was Hillary Clinton's chief of staff. Previous to the police release of details about Vince Foster's suspicious death, Williams was seen by a secret service agent removing files from Foster's office. She later denied it. Another Trinity grad, Maisha Leek, who spoke at Cap and Gown Sunday last fall, is chief of staff for Democrat Congressman Chaka Fattah of Pennsylvania who is about as rabid a pro-abort as you can find. He favors abortion, even late-term, embryonic stem cell research, opposes making it illegal to transport minors across state lines to kill their babies, etc. ad nauseum. Another pro-abort former congresswoman Barbara Kennelly was recently hired by Trinity to teach politicial science. And to cap off Trinity's liberalism, President Patricia McGuire is now blogging for the ultra liberal Huffington Post. There is little at Trinity except a facade to show that Catholics believe there is immutable truth.

As for Sebelius, she demands not only that tax dollars pay for abortion, but that citizens must use their private funds to support them as well. Liberals like Sebelius talk a lot about "freedom " using the vocabulary of the brave new world. They will only allow citizens the "freedom" to do exactly what they tell you to do.

Another Catholic College President Spouts Hypocrisy

Patricia McGuire, President of Trinity University in Washington, D.C., is embarrassed by the "ugly spectacle" of "Catholic vigilantes" threatening "a half-century of progress for Catholic education" and taking us back to "those insular, parochial pre-Vatican II days" when "academic freedom was not valued within the Catholic Church." Her rant accuses those who protested Obama being honored at Notre Dame of having faces "distorted in the snarl of hatred."

Sibelius Confirmed 65-31: Trinity Grad is poisoned fruit of bad Catholic college.

The Senate confirmed Kathleen Sibelius tonight 65 to 31. Every democrat voted for the supporter of partial birth abortionist "Killer" Tiller who never met a late-term baby he wouldn't murder. Of course, it was a mutually beneficial situation for the Kansas Governor. Sibelius raked in big bucks in campaign contributions from the Wichita butcher. She underreported them, but the senators didn't care. How many of them get money from Planned Parenthood, NARAL, NOW, et al as well?

You can check out the yeas and nays here. Both of my Virginia Senators voted for this scarlet lady - no surprise; they are pro-abortion Democrats. (Is there any other kind?) What about your senators? Pray for the souls of these politicians who will one day have to face the music. Killing children may be the politically expedient thing to do today (like killing Catholic priests in 16th and 17th century England and killing Jews in Nazi Germany), but will political expediency count for much on Judgment Day?

Kathleen Sebelius is a pathetic example of a "Catholic" education from Trinity College in Washington, D.C., my own alma mater I'm ashamed to say. Like Notre Dame fawning over our pro-abortion, pro-infanticide president, Trinity gushes over her pro-abortion Catholic graduates. A number are now working for the Obama administration and will no doubt be invited to Trinity to scandalize the current crop of undergrads.

If you want to keep your kids Catholic don't send them to schools that will rob them of their faith. What does it profit a man (or woman) to gain the White House or an important government post, but lose his (her) own soul? Eh, Kathleen?
