Catholic Hospitals and Sterilization
A doctoral student at Baylor in a study of 176 hospitals in the U.S. found that nearly half do sterilizations. No surprise really. Federal money has undermined the Catholic church in her charities and schools -- why not the hospitals?

Boston Catholic health-care agency wins state contract- including abortion coverage
Should Catholics rejoice that a Catholic institution will be helping the poor or weep because it means the Church will be linked to abortion, although the referral will probably be several steps removed. Maybe Catholics need a summit on the dangers of cooperating with evil.
Thousands of Connecticut Catholics rallied in defense of religious liberty; new challenge looms
Victory this time against the Connecticut bill to remove parish oversight from the bishop and give it to the state. More assaults coming.
