This video reminded me of the statement attributed to de Tocqueville. "America is great because America is good. If America ever ceases to be good, she will cease to be great." We are seeing the collapse of America because of the collapse of moral values. We may have already reached the tipping point with the collapse of reason itself and a return to barbaric paganism. In that case, America will not only cease to be great, she may cease to be at all. Remember what happened to Rome!

The Law of Unintended Consequences: Pill Caused "Demographic Catastrophe"

One of the inventors of the birth control pill, Carl Djerassi, an Austrian chemist and one of the three originators of the original synthetic progesterone, Norethisterone, calls the impact of the pill on society as a "demographic catastrophe." The pills environmental impact is also a disaster. with tons of hormones polluting the environment and impairing male fertility. In the UK the Daily Mail headlined an article warning of a Fertility Timebomb Found in Drinking Water. Men may be glad to have women take the pill so they can always be available as free sex toys. How many would be happy to know that they may be paying the price of chemical castration for their fun?

Well, well, well....The Washington Post and the New York Times are lamenting the plummeting birthrate and its implications for the future of our economy.

The facts of the demographic winter are finally getting through to the lame brains in la la land. No babies, no future! An aging population with insufficient replacement means not enough young workers to sustain retirees and create a booming economy.

Of course, the culture of death won't have much trouble with that -- just pass a law requiring everyone over 70 -- oh heck, 65 -- to check into the local exit clinic for a checkup. If they can still work, the docs will send them down one line for a temporary reprieve; if they can't -- off to the showers.

Of course, a shrinking population means fewer consumers and reduced needs: fewer homes, stores, gas stations, hospitals, schools, buses, trains, and planes, etc. Think of the empty storefronts and ghost towns. And horrors! Who will wait on Ted Turner at his favorite restaurants around the world when the population shrinks to his "ideal" of 500 million?

Then there's the drop that makes politicians blanch. Fewer people means less tax revenue. And with a population top heavy with revenue takers like the elderly vs. revenue creators like the young -- well -- the writing is on the wall -- and it's not good news. Pray to be steadfast under trial, because the trial is certainly coming. And even the liberals are starting to see the approaching train wreck. About time!

Today at Liberal Logic 101......

......they are featuring endangered species. Liberals have no idea that eliminating unborn children has a big impact on your society. For example, Europe is a continent of disappearing Europeans. Every country has a lower population of native citizens than twenty years ago. Population is only being kept up in some countries by immigration. When I was in Spain fifteen years ago there were few adults with children. According to the demographics it's the same across Europe. We aren't doing so well in the U.S. either. Without the invasion from the south we also would be losing population.
