In the summer of 2016 my family and I went to Ecuador - an incredibly beautiful and safe country. I absolutely loved Quito and was thinking it would be a great place to live if Hillary won the election because at the time Rafael Correa was President of Ecuador. He had declared that there would be no abortion in Ecuador. As he said, "There will be no killing of Ecuadorian children." Sadly he is gone now and Ecuador is currently killing its children. But I digress.

With all the current talk about the Amazon and how wonderful it is, I thought I'd share my family's time spent in the Amazon Jungle. I'll break the suspense and say up front that my older daughter got so terribly ill that if not for modern medicine, that is, real doctors and pills and not an indigenous tribal shaman or medicine doctor shaking rattles and such, she might have died.

In the Amazon, Pope Francis found the primitive charism Arrupe, that old agent of change, was looking for in the Society of Jesus, except now that primitive charism is for the entire Catholic Church which Francis is changing into Arrupe's Marxist secular humanist dream.

Topsy: Thanks for driving me. I have a terrible time seeing when they dilate my pupils. All this studying the document has done a number on my eyes. Last night while I was reading Part 3 everything went blurry. Thank God I was almost finished. I just needed to review a few footnotes from the last chapter. But the page looked like the Russian alphabet. I think I probably need a stronger prescription.

Tuptim: (Sarcastically...) Gosh, do you think the Russians are colluding in the synod and conspired to make your eyesight deteriorate so we couldn't finish critiquing the working doc?

Topsy: (Laughing...) No... it was the Germans in collusion with the South American liberation theology gurus.

It's "High Noon." Will You Stand to Protect Our Beloved Church against the Synod from Hell?

Sometimes it's helpful to have a list of resources together in one place. So I've listed a number of articles on the upcoming synod from hell. I've linked to many of the articles below in the Topsy and Tuptim posts about the Pan-Amazon synod, but some are new.

As we face this latest tsunami barelling down on the Church during the October hurricane season, we need soldiers of Christ committed to the truth to stand up to the liars and Church wreckers. Many wear roman collars, but their hearts wear pagan new age amulets and their minds are steeped in pagan liberation theology. (I deleted the word "pagan" because many pagan's were godly people who valued truth and goodness and lived virtuous lives, like Socrates. It's an insult to pagans to lump them in with these liars and Church wreckers.)

As one writer said, we are facing "High Noon" in the Church. In the film the sheriff, played by Gary Cooper, meets an incoming train arriving at noon filled with a gang of outlaws planning to take over the town. The other townsmen run for cover refusing to stand with the sheriff to protect their loved ones and their community. So Cooper faces them alone. Sound familiar? How few men in miters stand against the outlaws attacking our beloved Church and gobbling up the faith of the sheep? How few are willing to imitate Jesus or even the Old Testament prophets who chose God's law over man's lawlessness. May God have mercy on them come Judgment Day!

Paradigm Shift, Book Review, Chapter 2 Promoting the Neo-Marxist and Alter-Globalization Agenda of Popular Movements

Jose Ureta begins chapter two with this statement:

“Catholic doctrine teaches that communism is ‘intrinsically wrong.’  However, Marxist movements and leftist regimes around the world see Pope Francis as a point of reference.  Indeed, the current pontiff has shown himself very close to the claims of these groups and governments.”

When asked Francis always denies he is a communist, but on more than one occasion, he has said it was the communists who stole the flag of Christianity.  In an interview with Eugenio Scalfari, avowed atheist and founder of the Italian newspaper La Repubblica, Francis was reported to have said the following:

I just read an interesting article by Roberto de Mattei whcih seems pretty much on target in describing where we are as Church in this new year of the Lord 2015. De Mattei describes "the drama" of a divided Christendom from a historical perspecxtive:

Perhaps future historians will document that they were dancing the tango in the year 2014 in St. Peter’s Square while Christians were being massacred in the Middle East and the Church was on the verge of a schism. This frivolity and irresponsibility is not new to history. In Carthage, Salvian of Marseille records, they were dancing and feasting on the eve of the invasion of the Vandals, and in St. Petersburg, according to the testimony of John Reed, an American journalist, while the Bolsheviks were taking power, the theatres and restaurants were always packed. As Holy Scripture says, the Lord blinds those who want to be lost (John 12, 27-41).

Is Liberation Theology the New Vatican Strategy?

Obama Vatican Pick hailed by Soros-funded Groups

Well, Obama has named a Vatican ambassador, one welcomed by the cafeteria Catholics at Catholics United and Catholics in Alliance for the Common Good, groups funded by anti-Catholic billionaire George Soros. Miguel Diaz, a lay liberation theologian is an unabashed Obama supporter with a number of books published by Orbis Books, the publishing arm of the leftwing Maryknoll order. He also signed the letter backing the Sebelius nomination.

Diaz is firmly in the Kmiec camp of Catholics for whom murdering the unborn is a minor problem, trumped by "social justice" issues that exclude the weakest and most vulnerable. This is one more nomination that undermines the sanctity of human life while elevating liberalism and socialism as utopian solutions to world problems.

But, as many are pointing out, it is one more shrewd move on the part of a president who knows how to manipulate the division between orthodox and heterodox Catholics to his own advantage. Catholics United calls Diaz a "devout Catholic," but cafeteria Catholics mean by that anyone willing to "dialogue" even over the dead bodies of children -- like the Romans who threw dice for Jesus' cloak while the innocent one hung dying above them.
