If you're impatient you can read them both now. When you consider how much money has been funneled to Ukraine with almost no accountability for where it's gone and that we have U.S. military now actively engaged in the attacks on Russia, it's horrifying. Biden seems to desire his legacy to be a hot war with Russia and her allies. Can we even win such a war? We all better be praying the rosary for peace because if there is a World War III and some say we are already in it, the U.S. will no doubt see missile attacks on our shores.

Biden Signs Order Authorizing More Boots on the Ground for Operation Atlantic Resolve!

What's Operation Atlantic Resolve (OAR)? The program addressing the conflict between Russia and Ukraine. OAR began in 2014 responding to the Ukraine/Russia conflict in Donbass. We already have about 100,000 troops in Europe. This order authorizes the deployment of 3,000 more, although it's unclear whether the deployment is imminent and the Pentagon will actually call up the troops. Clearly though something spurred the move.

I've been watching the video Susan posted the other day called Ukraine on Fire. What an eye-opener. It dispels the notion that there are no Nazis in the Ukraine. The Neo Nazi extremists are legion, they are integrated into the government, and have been fomenting violence in the area for decades. Since the "Orange Revolution" in the early 2000s fascist groups, some of whom worked with our own CIA, have infiltrated crowds to achieve the same results as the January 6th protests. And watching the mob violence from the Maidan protests brought back scenes from the BLM/Antifa riots.

Who benefits from beating the war drums? 

The reality is that Russia has won the war in Ukraine. Whether you hate Putin or not, the Ukraine is done. Russia has won. The only result of continuing the war is to pound the Ukrainian people into the dust and impoverish the people of the countries pouring money into the war effort. So why are political leaders not encouraging Zelensky and company to sue for peace? 

Archbishop Vigano Responds to Weigel the Warmonger

Following up on my post about George Weigel's ugly attack on Archbishop Vigano, I offer this response to Weigel from the archbishop himself. As usual Archbishop Vigano is the voice of reason answering the spurious below-the-belt assaults from two men he apparently considered friends. Betrayal and again, betrayal! What an appropriate time for that to take place, eh? Jesus was betrayed and betrayed and betrayed! How painful it is when "friends" are the source of stab wounds. "Et tu, Roberto? Et tu, George?"

I'm printing the archbishop's response in full with my comments in red. Pray for Holy Mother Church. She has so few defenders these days. I have never liked neo-conservative warmonger George Weigel and never trusted him, but I did respect Roberto de Mattei and appreciated his book, Apologia for Tradition.
