Imagine if the Truth was Obvious...

...and everybody could see it on your t-shirt.

This picture is obviously photo-shopped, but it tells a profound truth about those who proclaim themselves "pro-choice without apology." They hide their murderous agenda behind semantic manipulation, but the reality is what you see in the photo above.

Now let's sing it in John Lennon style.

IMAGINE

Imagine no abortion
It's easy if you try,
No killing centers
Where the babies die.
Imagine all God's people
Saying,  "Not today!"

Imagine there's no countries
that don't protect all life,
No doctors killing babies
With curette and knife.
Imagine all the mothers
Choosing babies' lives.

You...you may say I'm a dreamer,
But I'm not the only one.
I hope some day you'll join us.
And the world will love God's Son.

Imagine no possessions
You love so much you'd kill.
Choosing selfish lifestyles
Above our Father's will.
Imagine all the people
Welcoming new life.

You...you may say I'm a dreamer
but I'm not the only one
I hope some day you'll join us
And the world will love God's Son

Rush Has a Point -- LOL!

And Snerdley makes a great point too. As for Sandra Fluke -- every time I hear her name I have to put my barf bag within reach.

Bill Bolling: the Whining Crybaby

Reagan had a rule about Republicans not speaking ill of one another. Well, I never subscribed to that view since so many Republicans are either Democrat Lite or RINOs. I would actively work against Republicans like Arlen Specter who was a Democrat long before he switched parties. But Bill Bolling deserves a special category to himself as a whining crybaby! Give him some cheese with his whine.

On Wednesday, the Richmond Times Dispatch ran an interview with the Lieutenant Governor that was nothing but a Bolling rant-attack against Ken Cuccinelli. No surprise really. Ken threw a monkey wrench into the nice little backroom deal between Bob McDonnell and Bill Bolling. Bolling would pull out of the race for governor clearing the way for McDonnell. He would run for lieutenant governor and be the NEXT governor with McDonnell's support. When Ken decided to run,

Wisdom from Fr. Rutler

Fr. George Rutler writes a weekly column for his parish website. The one below sends a trumpet blast warning that the faithful Catholic Church will became a remnant. Let us make sure we are in that little band of brothers and sisters. Take a virtual trip to the Church of Our Savior in Manhattan at the end. It is worth a field trip to Manhattan to see its beauty up close and personal!

FROM THE PASTOR
November 18, 2012
by Fr. George W. Rutler

In the wake of the recent hurricane, a sibilant television commentator said, “I’m so glad we had that storm.” Apologies aside, his words betrayed a view: people are expendable for the sake of promoting a political program. In this instance the program was a form of socialism that has brought so much sorrow to other nations.

When free people vote against their own freedoms, they knock down the columns of a free society on themselves, the way Samson brought down the temple on his own head. The first column to collapse will be the First Amendment right to freedom of religion. Naïfs who thought this could not happen will be startled when the Church has to close charities, hospitals and schools, and even parish churches if they are subject to tax intimidation. This will be far more disastrous to our civilization than the looming fiscal chaos and international instability. Although certain areas on November 6 reported massive voter fraud, the election results cannot be blamed just on corruption. Voters deliberately rejected warnings clearly made by moral and political leaders.

At least we have a beacon of honesty shining on the Catholic Church in the United States. The 70 million or so Catholics were a Potemkin village, and the numbers of faithfully practicing Catholics are a small portion of that. Long before he became pope, Benedict was a prophet who said, “The church will become small and will have to start afresh more or less from the beginning.” As the state’s lions begin to roar, the nominal Catholics will skip out of the arena.

For a long while Roman Catholicism became for many a nervously self-conscious kind of Cute Catholicism, with leprechauns, mariachi bands and Santa Claus instead of confession, prayer and fidelity to doctrine. But behind each leprechaun St. Patrick stares, and behind every mariachi band Our Lady of Guadalupe weeps, and behind every Santa Claus, Christ Himself judges.

Catholics could have saved the best in America, and they can only blame themselves for what has fallen down: marriage breakdown, contempt for chastity, a record low birth rate, and destruction of infants. Looking at his own decadent empire, Cicero wrote:

“Do not blame Caesar; blame the people of Rome who have so enthusiastically acclaimed and adored him and rejoiced in their loss of freedom and danced in his path and given him triumphal processions. Blame the people who hail him when he speaks in the Forum of the ‘new, wonderful, good society’ which shall now be Rome’s, interpreted to mean: more money, more ease, more security, more living fatly at the expense of the industrious.”

We can feast with Caesar, but he will soon feast on us, and we can laugh with him, but he will soon laugh at us. “Risus abundat in ore stultorum.” There is much laughter in the mouth of the foolish.

Hitler's Paper: The New York Times

We've all heard the lie repeated over and over that Pope Pius XII did nothing during World War II to save the Jews, that his silence helped send million of Jews to death in the camps. The slander went viral with Rolf Hochhuth's play, The Deputy, in 1963. With the complicity of a mainstream media that hates the Church, the lie has been repeated over and over in books and articles that get wide press. The real story of the pope's heroism has been ignored and buried including the fact that the chief rabbi of Rome during the war years, Israel Zolli, converted to Catholicism because of the pope's efforts to save his people. Who knows about that except serious students seeking the truth?

But now it's becoming clearer who really helped enable the Nazis by their silence, Hitler's paper, the New York Times that covered up its own silence by embracing KGB propaganda. Fr. Gordon MacRae   has an extensive article at These Stone Walls. He writes:

It is no longer a mystery to me why The New York Times and other news media spread far and wide the myth of “Hitler’s Pope.” They eagerly embraced without question a Kremlin propaganda campaign to frame Pius XII as a scapegoat for silence in the face of the Holocaust. The Times had an opportunity during Hitler’s reign that the Pope never had – an opportunity to expose a horrible truth to the world. According to Susan E. Tifft and Alex S. Jones, other agendas – self-serving political agendas – controlled the news and buried that truth. If the Kremlin had its “Operation Seat 12″ to defame the Pope, “Operation Page 12″ seemed to be a parallel plan at The New York Times. It’s a moral legacy that cannot ever be erased as long as the Times and other news media scapegoat someone else for that silence.
If any pope deserves to be up for canonization it is Pope Pius XII. Let us pray that more and more Catholics and people of good will learn the story of this courageous man. You see a little of his heroism in the film The Scarlet and the Black about Msgr. Hugh O'Flaherty's role in running an underground program in Rome with the support of the pope. Great movie! It would make a good Christmas present for teenagers who need real heroes in their lives.

Can a Man Die Twice? Brain Death is a Sham!

Good question. And the answer for the brain death crowd is yes. In this story, Hector Comacho was declared brain dead, then, before his family decided to take him off the respirator, his condition "deteriorated" and he died of a heart attack. So was the man "dead" when he was brain dead? And if he WAS dead, how could his condition "deteriorate?" Think about it. If there was an organ donor team on standby would they have been taking the heart of a dead man when they talk his heart? But if he was already dead, how could he die of a heart attack?

MAKES YOU WONDER ABOUT BRAIN DEATH, EH?

But it's extremely convenient for the organ harvesting business. Declare the living death and take their vital organs. Their condition will certainly "deteriorate" after that happens.

Fr. Jeffrey Montz: A New Breed of Truth Teller!

There is great hope for the future with a new breed of young priests like Fr. Montz who are not afraid to confront evil with boldness and charity. It is, in fact, an act of charity to stick out your foot and trip someone racing heedlessly toward a cliff. If you bruise their tender feelings in the process, so be it. I've included a few of my own comments in red.

Post election homily by Father Jeffrey Montz, St Elizabeth Ann Seton, Kenner, LA

I want to begin today by thanking those of you who went out on Tuesday and voted for the sacredness of human life. Just as the widow’s deed in our 1st reading will never be forgotten as long as the Scriptures are read, be assured that no righteous deed that we ever undertake will be forgotten by Almighty God.

This past Wednesday, the day after the election, I received a message on my phone at the parish office, from a gentleman who didn’t identify himself by name [anonymous rants are typical for liberals] but who said he was a parishioner. And in this message, this gentleman ranted for several minutes about Tuesday’s election results. And here were the first words out of his mouth, “You lost Father; you lost!” Well, the first thing I want to say about Tuesday night’s election results is that I didn’t lose. On Tuesday night our entire country lost! [Even liberals lost. Who wants to live in the kind of country we are becoming where people are routinely murdered because they are "unwanted" or the butt of the "knockout game" or for their i-phones and leather jackets?]

Now, having said that,

An Interesting Fact of Fertility and Politics

Conservatives are often painted as doddering, old codgers, but data from the last election (See below) paints a much different picture. Take a peak and take heart if you're a conservative. Promiscuous young sluts (It's Planned Parenthood's term not mine) like Sandra Fluke may make Time's person of the year list, but the hand that rocks the cradle holds the future. My husband and I raised five conservative kids who married five conservative spouses and we have 21 grandkids who will be nurtured on faith, truth, and common sense. I read the Facebook pages of my pro-life friends' children who are also conservative to the core. They are busy having babies and staying home to raise them. How many kids do you think Sandra Fluke will create in her liberal image? The future is ours unless, of course, they kill us off which is certainly a possibility given the history of tyrants. But even that is a lose-lose situation. The blood of martyrs is the seedbed of faith.

Something for your prayer and fasting list

Planned Parenthood threatens to close Lubbock abortion facility

Texas is saying it will cut off Planned Parenthood funding as of December 31st. The feds say if they do the state will lose $36 million in Medicare and Medicaid money from the federal government. Let's start praying and fasting that Texas won't be blackmailed. Once states start standing up to the feds and refusing their blood money, we will start to see real change. Pray for the people of Texas to demand the state fulfill its pledge to cut off the butchers. Stand up to the feds!

Will Congress Vote to Read Your E-Mails without a Warrant?

Probably.

Now what would you say if the FBI came to your door and demanded all your correspondence? Wouldn't you ask for a search warrant? Well, in the computer age much of our correspondence is by e-mail. Should police now be allowed to just spy on people violating their rights under the constitution against unreasonable search and seizure? Oh, I know, they always frame it as a security issue, but it that's the case, they could get a warrant without much trouble.

This is why the dumbing down of the populace is so important to tyrants. Many people will say, "I have nothing to hide" and roll over. I have nothing to hide either -- yet. But there may come a day when I do. In Nazi Germany they confiscated radios. Only people who hid them had access to news other than Nazi propaganda. Tyrannies always take guns. An armed people are a threat to their power. Are people so convinced that the Nanny State loves them like Mama that they will turn over all their rights with their left hands while they take all the goodies with the right?

The Senate bill started out to protect private e-mails and other internet documents, but is quickly morphing into a bill that allows 22 (yes, you read that right) federal agencies to look at your e-mails, Facebook account, and other digital materials. Read more here and start paying attention to your rights. We've lost too many already!
