We’re Not Biting the Obama Race Bait

What if they threw a race war and nobody came?
So far, thankfully, that sums up the results of the Left’s recent efforts to instigate racial animosity in America.
The NAACP’s absurd resolution on July 13 that the Tea Party movement harbors “racist elements” is only the latest gambit in the campaign to divide Americans and perhaps even to spark violence. It’s right up there with some congressmen (Clyburn, Lewis, Cleaver) charging – without evidence – that Tea Party folks emitted racial slurs during the Nancy Pelosi-led House victory march for ObamaCare on March 20.
Here are other pieces in play:
Attorney General Eric Holder, who accused his fellow Americans of being “a nation of cowards” for not talking more about race, dismissed charges against New Black Panther Party members caught on tape blatantly intimidating voters at a Philadelphia polling place in 2008. One defendant, King Samir Shabbaz, who wore military garb and brandished a baton, later told a black audience, “You want freedom? You’re gonna have to kill some crackers! You’re gonna have to kill some of their babies!” In case anyone missed his point, he said, “I hate white people – all of them!” Cue Obama’s Justice Department: “There’s nothing to see here, folks, move along.” Cue national media: “There’s nothing to see here, folks ….”
It gets worse. Justice Department officials won’t prosecute any cases involving minority defendants, according to J. Christian Adams, a Justice Department attorney who resigned in protest. Testifying on July 6 before the U.S. Civil Rights Commission, Adams said that Deputy Assistant Attorney General Julie Fernandez had announced that “the voting section will not bring any other cases against blacks and other minorities.” Adams also said Fernandez told them, in remarks that must have delighted workers at renamed ACORN offices, that Justice won’t enforce the Motor Voter rule requiring removal of ineligible voters. She reportedly said, “it has nothing to do with increasing turnout.” Right.
In April, President Obama blasted Arizona for passing a statute requiring state and local police to help enforce federal immigration law. On April 27, he fanned Hispanic fears by saying: “Suddenly, if you don't have your papers and you took your kid out to get ice cream, you're going to be harassed.” The law bars racial profiling and allows officers to ask for proof of legal immigration during legal stops and arrests. Americans overwhelmingly support the Arizona law, and nine states have filed a brief supporting Arizona. States such as Rhode Island have been checking immigration status during traffic stops for years.
Holder and Homeland Security chief Janet Napolitano also excoriated the 10-page law, admitting later that they hadn’t read it. Holder sued Arizona on July 6, claiming the law violates the Constitution’s Supremacy Clause. Remember, this is a state law aimed at enforcing federal law, not flouting it. And speaking of flouting the law, Justice spokeswoman Tracy Schmaler told The Washington Times on July 13 that “sanctuary cities” that won’t cooperate with federal authorities will face no action.
Are things upside down, or what? Don’t worry. It’s not you; it’s them. And they’re not crazy, just strategic. If I were a cynic, I’d say they’re abusing their power to promote racial and ethnic enmity in hopes of saving some of the radical majority seats in Congress.
Saul Alinsky, the community organizer who inspired both Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton, made the case for power alone as the paramount consideration. In his 1972 book Rules for Radicals, a book he dedicated to Lucifer, “the very first radical,” he wrote: “To say that corrupt means corrupt the ends is to believe in the immaculate conception of ends and principles. The real arena is corrupt and bloody.”
In other words, as these lawless acts aimed at stirring racial and ethnic animosity demonstrate, the ends justify the means.
Americans of good will need to let our corrupt elites know that we’re not going to turn on our neighbors – including our fellow American citizens in Arizona – just because it’s in their script.

I'm really becoming worried about what's happening with this administration. I feared that race relations would get worse if Obama won and it seems like that's what they want.
