Gay Champ Fr. Martin Can Travel, but Bishop Schneider and Cardinal Burke are on House Arrest?

Well, folks the news that the Vatican has imposed virtual house arrest on Bishop Schneider and orders shunning of Cardinal Burke should come as no surprise.

Tosatti: Vatican Unofficially Restricts Bishop Schneider, Cardinal Burke

This pope and his mafioso definitely play hardball and we can't have anyone teaching the authentic Catholic faith while the party line is promotion of sodomy, fornication, same-sex unions and communion for those in objective mortal sin.

Nope, those voices must be silenced and silenced in a way that breaks the unity and collegiality of the apostles. Two men who are in good standing in the Church get the mailed fist while people like Fr. Martin can sashay around the country at will.

Canon lawyer Ed Peters raises the question of whether this is the "other kind of schism":
Most Catholics correctly, but incompletely, understand schism as “the refusal of submission to the Supreme Pontiff” (1983 CIC 751). Overlooked here—perhaps because it is much rarer than is typical ‘anti-papal schism’ and is harder to spot when it does occur—is the second kind of schism, namely, “the refusal … of communion with the members of the Church subject to him” (1983 CIC 751). In other words schism comes in two varieties, ‘vertical schism’ whereby one refuses submission to the Roman Pontiff and ‘horizontal schism’ whereby one refuses to extend that Christian unity owed to others who are, in fact, in union with the pope....

Catholics, mind, in full communion with the Church per Canon 205—notwithstanding their demonstrable communion with the pope, are frequently disparaged these days, sometimes by ranking bishops, as being adversaries, accusers, and gossip-mongers....lately I wonder whether this demonizing of papal critics risks taking a canonical turn.

Long-time Vaticanista Marco Tosatti recently claimed (Eng. trans.here) that word has been passed down by papal representatives to bishops not to invite Raymond Cdl. Burke to their dioceses and that, should Burke appear at an event in their churches, they should not even appear with him. If this report is true, then understand: bishops working in close collaboration with the pope are instructing other bishops to avoid and, if necessary, to refuse manifestations of Christian unity due to a bishop who is, beyond any question, in full communion with him and them. That report, if true, would suggest something well beyond mere verbal disparagement of a fellow bishop.
While you're reading the articles consider that James Martin can sashay around the world preaching heresy with nothing but back slaps and high fives from the pro-homosexual clique of bishops who enabled and covered up clergy sex abuse. Cupich, Wuerl, Farrell, McElroy, Joseph Tobin -- they are all enemies of the truth.
Meanwile Fr. James Martin pontificates in talks and teach-ins on the virtues of homosexuality looking forward to the day when same-sex lovers can kiss each other at the sign of peace. Martin just spoke at the 2018 Ignatian Teach-In. I started to watch the video, but it was making me feel physically ill and I had to stop.

How many will go to hell because of this man and his ear-tickling?

Yes, God loves all of us with our disordered and SINFUL inclinations. He loved the woman taken in adultery. He loved the woman at the well living a sinful life. He admonished them both in love and they repented and reformed. He did not bless their sinful lifestyle!

When we resist Satan's temptations, we draw closer to Jesus. When we give in to them and even call them human rights, graces, and blessings, we are liars and servants of Satan. If we follow Martin's example and glorify sin, we throw gasoline on the flames of hell which is exactly what Martin is doing. God help him on Judgment Day.

It seems today that unity among many bishops is the unity of perversion. Unity of truth seems broken and lost -- as it did on Good Friday.

No wonder our world is in such a mess when so many of the men leading the Church are evil. Pray and fast for holy bishops and, of course, for the man we call "Your Holiness" who sits on the chair of Peter. May he become what we call him.

Most Sacred Heart of Jesus, have mercy on us.
