Of Cleaning Hot Spots and Lamenting "Progressive Preachers"

Have you ever heard of the Fly Lady? She's a whirlwind of activity against CHAOS which stands for "Can't Have Anyone Over Syndrome." I followed her for awhile trying to get my own clutter under control -- a never ending battle it seems.

This morning while working on one of my "hot spots," a counter filled with newspapers, magazines, junk mail, etc. I came across an article that temporarily halted my purge. Titled Questions for 'progressive' preachers, it was written by the president of Oklahoma Wesleyan University, Everett Piper.


You may remember Dr. Piper from a 2015 open letter to his students saying that a university is not a day care center. He has since written a book titled Not a Day Care. In the last 15 years, enrollment at Wesleyan has tripled! I'm not surprised with such a sensible man at the helm! Meet Dr. Piper:





The article that triggered my search for Dr. Piper is well worth reading, especially for Catholics who every week get pabulum from the pulpit from liberal pastors whose moral code comes from the pages of the New York Times and MSNBC. Read it and consider sharing it. I'm sending my copy to a family member whose looking at colleges for his kids. Sounds like Wesleyan is a place to consider! Dr. Piper shares more TRUTH about our Christian faith than our current pope and many of our liberal bishops.

Now isn't that a sad state of affairs?
