We know this because Muhammad had a hairy mole on his back. |
However, by "Paraclete" or "Comforter", Moslems here mean Muhammad and say that the very name of Muhammad, both here and in five additional places in the Bible, was expressly mentioned but that Christians, out of malice, blotted out Muhammad's name thereby corrupting the Bible.
Muhammad, narcissistic impostor that he was, taught that his coming was prophesied in the Bible as the Seal of the Prophets (wait until I tell you what that "seal" was) which proves that Islam is the fulfillment of all other religions. Judaism came first, then Christianity, then they were completed by Islam.
From this errant belief, Moslem scholars have desperately sought to find verses in the Bible supporting the fulfillment theology of Islam, which is their assertion that Islam is the final successor and completion of the Abrahamic faith(s).
Thus came the extraction of six - SIX! - verses out of the entire Bible which contains 31,102 verses in both the Old Testament (23,145 verses) and New Testament (7,957 verses). The six verses are: Deuteronomy 18:18, Deuteronomy 33:2, Psalm 49 (50) verse 2, Isaiah 21:7, John 14:26 and John 16:7, all taken out of context and used to build the erroneous belief that Muhammad fulfilled Biblical prophesy.
Deuteronomy 18:18 "I will raise them up a prophet out of the midst of their brethren, like to thee: and I will put my words in his mouth, and he shall speak all that I shall command him." Moslems say the prophet mentioned is Muhammad.
Deuteronomy 33:2 "And he said: The Lord came from Sinai, and from Seir he rose up to us: he hath appeared from Mount Pharan, and with him thousands of saints. In his right hand a fiery law."... meaning the Law of Moses on Mount Sinai, the Gospel of Jesus at Jerusalem and the Quran to Muhammad at Mecca.
Psalm 49 (50) v 22 "...out of Sion the loveliness of his beauty"...meaning the perfection of beauty God has shined on Muhammad as being the perfect man. The Arabic version is, "Out of Sion hath God shewed the Crown of Mohamet."
Isaiah 21:7 "And he saw a chariot, with two horsemen, a rider upon an ass, and a rider upon a camel: and he beheld them diligently with much heed." ...meaning the rider upon an ass was Jesus because he rode a donkey into Jerusalem on Palm Sunday and the rider upon a camel was Muhammad because he was an Arabian, all of whom rode camels.
John 14:26 "But the Paraclete, the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he will teach you all things, and bring all things to your mind, whatsoever I shall have said to you." Moslems say the Paraclete or Comforter is Muhammad.
John 16:7 "But I tell you the truth: it is expedient for you that I go: for if I go not, the Paraclete (Muhammad) will not come to you: but if I go, I will send him to you."
Oddly the Bible does not relate how Muhammad was to be recognized as the Seal of the Prophets. For that we must turn to the Quran and the Hadiths.
Sahih al-Bukhari 190 "... I stood behind him (Muhammad) and saw the seal of Prophethood between his shoulders, and it was like the Zir-al-Hijla (the size of a button on a small tent, or a partridge egg)."
Sahih al-Bukhari 3541 "...standing behind him (Muhammad) I saw the seal of the Prophets in between his shoulders."
Sahih Muslim 5790-5793 "I saw the seal on his back as if it were a pigeon's egg. ...then I stood behind him and I saw the seal between his shoulders. ...I then went after him and saw the Seal of Prophethood between his shoulders on the left side of his shoulder having spots on it like moles."
The History of al-Tabari, vol. 9, p. 158-159 "The Messenger of God said to me, 'O Abu Zayd, come close to me and wipe my back', and he uncovered his back. I touched his back, and then put my finger on the seal and touched it. Ilba states: I said to Abu Zayd, 'What is the seal?' He replied, 'It is a collection of hair on his shoulders.' I asked Abu Said al-Khudri about the seal which the Prophet had, and he said that it was like a protruding lump of flesh."
The risible absurdity of Islam is sufficiently exposed merely by mentioning its beliefs such as the Celestial White Rooster Angel of Heaven that crowed every morning when God apparently sang a hymn to Himself and Muhammad's suspiciously psychotropic description of his horse Lightning (al-Buraq) which had the face of a white woman. Then there's the heavenly brothel of 72 white virgins for every robust Islamic terrorist KIA. (Everything in Islam's heaven is WHITE. Was Muhammad racist?) But the most foolish belief of all - that the hairy mole on Muhammad's back proved he was the "Seal of the Prophets" - makes it an airtight fact that Islam is not from God.

Fr. Nix just yesterday released a very interesting talk claiming six million Muslims are converted to Christianity per year (he doesn't say how long this has been going on). This 20 minute podcast is very interesting. If you give it a listen, would love to hear your thoughts on it.
ReplyDeletehttps://youtu.be/HicsTNZ5pYc
Debbie, I watched the video of Fr Nix that you sent. Just a few observations:
ReplyDelete1) Stories of Muslims converting to Christianity after having dreams of Jesus are decades old. Obviously they're not converting to Catholicism at first but to evangelical and Seventh-day Adventist churches. I had a friend in Virginia who was a Kurdish Muslim born in Iraq. He married an American evangelical girl while in Iraq, then they both converted to the Catholic Church many years later after coming to America. Likewise, my son's best friend growing up was a Muslim boy who today is a Christian married to a Christian and they have 4 Christian daughters with Christian names.
2) Fr Nix tries to equate the biblical Ishmaelite bloodlines to Jews in hopes that it can be said that the "Jews" are being converted. The "conversion of the Jews" is, as we all know, one of the end times requirements. However...
3) ...Hagar was an Egyptian pagan, therefore not of Jewish blood nor the Jewish religion. Fr Nix wants Arabs to be Jews by blood but in the Bible the Ishmaelites (Arab descendants of Ishmael) were never considered Jews, as far as I know, even though Ishmael's father was Abraham...who came from Ur and was not Jewish as such at that time (that he left Ur). Ishmael would have followed Abraham's religion as long as he was living with Abraham, but when he left with his mother, he then followed his mother's pagan religion.
4) If about 120 million Muslims have converted to Christianity in the past 20 years it would be interesting to know where they are. If we subtract all the hundreds of thousands of Christians killed by Muslims in the past 20 years, some of whom were probably the above-mentioned converts, the number grows smaller, especially since the killings continue on a daily basis, unreported by the media.
5) I would (humbly) suggest to God that instead of appearing to Muslims in dreams, He might think about appearing in dreams to some of the Cardinals and Bishops of His own Church, not to mention His pope, in order to convert THEM.
6) Therefore I feel that the stories of millions of Muslim converts is a bit overstated - unless all the millions are silent for fear of Islam's killing clause (Muslims who leave Islam are to be killed).
7) I think that when the bible states "All Israel will be saved" it means exactly that - the conversion of the Jewish people not the conversion of Islamic Arabs. They were not the chosen people...who then rejected Jesus. If God had meant the Arabs, He would have said "All Ishmaelites will be saved". I hope all good people are saved - Arabs, Jews, Hindus, etc but I'll leave the judgement of each person's soul to God.
Thanks for watching and commenting Susan. I think Fr. Nix has put this out there because he believes we are in or quickly approaching end times. Knowing the Jews must convert before that happens it's led him to this possibility. I also thought it was a good observation that so many who call themselves Catholic are in fact not Catholic anymore even though they're "in the Church". This, of course speaks to the great falling away. I just found his podcast interesting, but you made some good points too. We're all just trying to figure it out and stay faithful. Thanks again for your response. Merry Christmas.
DeleteWas once told of a reference to Mohammad and Islam in Bl. Mary of Agreda's MYSTICAL CITY OF GOD. I actually found it but I have since forgot where. It was, I seem to recall, about a religion invented by devils as a deceit, the account included just enough info so the reader knew it was about Islam. Does anyone know where this passage is?
ReplyDeleteUnknown, I just looked on the Internet and was unable to find that reference however I'm certain it's there in the Mystical City of God somewhere. However, we don't have to be saints to know that Islam is evil. We merely need to use our common sense to know that of course Lucifer (who appeared to Muhammad as St Gabriel the Archangel at the Cave on Hira and dictated the Quran to him) invented Islam so that he - Lucifer - might be worshiped instead of God.
ReplyDeleteThis was known for centuries. Then political correctness arrived to whitewash Islam as the religion of peace. Therefore now Islam is on a par with the Catholic Church, Muhammad is equal to Jesus and, along with Judaism, we're all one big happy family of Abrahamic faiths.
Yet for some mysterious reason the killings of "infidels" by Islamic forces continue today
around the world, Catholic churches are burned down, statues of Mary smashed, priests stabbed, Christians beheaded and now a law passed by Islamic members of Congress that it's a crime to say anything against Islam.
