According to federal U.S. code 1507, any individual who "pickets or parades" with the "intent of interfering with, obstructing, or impeding the administration of justice, or with the intent of influencing any judge, juror, witness, or court officer" near a U.S. court or "near a building or residence occupied or used by such judge, juror, witness, or court officer" will be fined, or "imprisoned not more than one year, or both."
People were arrested for just being on the Capitol grounds on January 6th or just being at the Trump rally and never going to the Capitol. When will we see arrests of those "with the intent of interfering with, obstructing or impeding the administration of justice"? Can anyone deny with a straight face that these protesters have the "intent of influencing any judge, juror, witness, or court officer"?
All of these protestors should be handed a copy of the code, ordered to disperse, and arrested if they refuse. How come THE LEFT gets a pass while some of the "trespassers" at the Capitol have been jailed and abused for 18 months? Where is the Constitutional right of "equal protection?"
THE LEFT gives a pass to those who riot, loot, burn, and even injure and kill. Thousands of police officers were injured during months of violent protests in our cities while Soros-funded prosecutors refused to prosecute or released them without bail immediately after arrest. THE LEFT practices Communist and Fascist tactics while they scream "fascist!" at those with whom they disagree.
DeToqueville had it right when he said our Constitution only works for a moral people. As long as the IMMORAL LEFT is running the country and have so many allies among the citizenry (especially the elitists), we are in deep, deep trouble. Look at the difference between states, like Florida, run by a God-fearing governor and states like California and Washington run by immoral dictators who couldn't care less about the hoi polloi.
Pray and work for politicians who defend life. And pray they aren't corrupted when they get to the swamp on Capitol Hill. And don't forget that our real sovereign is Christ the King. Serve under His banner and fight with His weapons, primarily the Eucharist and the rosary.

Mary Ann, a young relative of mine is having trouble finding baby formula. This has been in the news and today is page one of Fox News. What have they found? A GOP representative was sent photos of shelves at the border facility overflowing with baby formula, which our own government has sent to the border, while shelves for American babies are empty. Washington has known about this for weeks and done nothing.
ReplyDeleteTucker pegged it last night when he said, they (the leftist dictators running the government) don't care about us. Did you hear his monologue? IT was spot on using the analogy of parents who neglect their own child while they give gifts and attention to the child down the street. That's our wicked government. Joe cares about the Ukraine because they feather his nest. Pelosi and all the Democrat thugs on the hill care about the invaders on the southern borders because they see them as votes to keep them in office forever. Americans have become the unwanted stepchildren. They'd gladly euthanize all the MAGA voters. My dad used to say when 51% of the population is supporting the other 49%, revolution is inevitable. These evil despots are sowing the seeds!
ReplyDeleteI didn't see it. It's a definite Democrat mothers and fathers are also scrambling around too trying to find formula. In America, worrying about feeding our babies. It just goes to show, they don't care one iota more about Democrats than they do about Republicans. It's just that Democrats haven't figured that out yet. They will. But I don't think it will matter.

ReplyDeleteI never found the quote I remembered. I thought I was getting close in Chapter XVIIL where I found:
• “Thus, whilst the law permits the Americans to do what they please, religion prevents from conceiving, and forbids them to commit what is rash or unjust.”
• “Upon my arrival in the United States, the religious aspect of the country was the first thing that struck my attention; …”
The quote from John Adams which I believe you allude to is:
• We have no government armed with power capable of contending with human passions, unbridled by morality and religion. Avarice, ambition, revenge would break the strongest cords of our constitution as a whale goes through a net. Our constitution was made only for a moral and religious people. It is wholly inadequate for the government of any other.
