Do you ever think about how your are being twisted and turned by experts in language manipulation, semantic gymnastics, and propaganda? I first encountered the term, "semantic gymnastics," in a 1970 editorial in a medical journal, California Medicine. It was titled A New Ethic for Medicine And Society. The unidentified author wrote:

I posted yesterday about the Supreme Court's decision in National Federation of Business vs. the Department of Labor/OSHA. Today, let's take a look at the concurring decision written by Justice Gorsuch and joined by Justices Thomas and Alito. It's an interesting document that adds significantly to the reasoning behind the decision. First of all Gorsuch clearly identifies the constitutional rights and powers of the states vs. those of the federal government. It makes for interesting reading:
There is no question that state and local authorities possess considerable power to regulate public health. They enjoy the “general power of governing,” including all sovereign powers envisioned by the Constitution and not specifically vested in the federal government.
About time these tyrants had a setback!
Supreme Court Backs Religious Challenge Against NY’s CuomoIn a 5-4 ruling late Wednesday night, the Supreme Court backed a religious challenge to Democratic New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo’s restrictions limiting attendance at religious services. The majority ruling blocks enforcement of the restrictions while the applicants pursue appellate review. The ruling highlights the lack of evidence that the applicants — the Roman Catholic Diocese of Brooklyn, two Jewish synagogues, and an Orthodox Jewish organization — have contributed to the spread of the virus and questions the rationale of the specifics of Cuomo’s restrictions, which limited services to just 10 and 25 occupants for red and orange zones, respectively.....

| On to the Supreme Court. Will courts uphold the Constitution and laws passed by Congress? Or will judicial activists continue to legislate from the bench? |
"I think this is going to reach the Supreme Court and the offending executive order will be allowed to stand. To begin with, the executive order is almost inconsequential. President Trump could have achieved the same objectives without making any noise by simply implementing the long standing US immigration law. Even today he can simply hurry and implement a policy that will in effect be indistinguishable from the executive order or even harsher. The President can do that without interference from the courts. Why did he do this in the fist place? I believe he wanted the Liberal judiciary to take the bait."
1) not one witness present.
2) the security detail (U.S. Marshals) which usually provides security for him, was dismissed and not present.
2) he was found dead with a pillow over his head.
3) pronounced dead by a judge over the phone without ever seeing the body.
