Hypocrisy on Steroids: Michelle Obama's Speech at the DNC (Part 1)

I watched Michelle Obama's speech out of curiosity well aware that "curiosity killed the cat." If one could die from an overdose of hypocrisy, I'd be dead now. The hypocrisy meter began rising from the first minute into her speech when when Michelle described the magic spreading across "this country we love."

Really? She loves our country? 

I have no doubt the Obamas love the power and wealth they've harvested from the taxpayers, but the country? From sea to shining sea with all those fly-over deplorables in middle America?

Remember when Michelle said this:

It never ceases to amaze me how low presidents or presidential candidates can stoop to make a buck. It shows that they have absolutely no class. Bob Dole illustrated it with his disgusting ads for...well, you know. Then there were Bill and Hillary selling nights in the Lincoln bedrooom (seances included?) for high roller donors. And now the Obamas, who plan to spend a cool billion on Barack's reelection campaign, offer lottery tickets for a "casual meal" with them. Don't believe it? I'm on his mailing list and see what I got below (second or third invite to enter actually).  I removed the weblink because I have no intention of advertising for them. And if you believe all that nonsense about accepting no money from lobbyists and PACs, I have a nice covered bridge for sale in Shenandoah County. Check out this link for data on the union PAC money, over $7 million of it that Obama sucked in during his 2008 campaign. Anyway, here's the email complete with the info that no contribution is needed to enter. As for me, in view of the Obamas enthusiasm for killing little babies, I think eating with them would give me a severe case of indigestion.

A Big Thank You to Barack and Michelle Who Are Working Hard to Build a Conservative Movement!

A friend sent me the post below which is circulating the Internet. I thought, wherever it comes from the ideas have real merit and demonstrate the Biblical principle that "All things work together for good for those who love the Lord and serve according to His purpose."  It's a great reminder to us that, no matter how bleak things look, God is still in charge and faithful to His people.

So never lose heart. In the Old Testament, God often used pagans and the enemies of faith to chastise His people and bring them back to Him. Isn't that what He continues to do today?

President Obama is part of His plan. When the wicked rule, the people call out to God for mercy. So, thank you, God, for President Obama who is working so hard to reinvigorate conservatism. That's one part of his agenda we can support whole-heartedly!

A Different Slant On The Obama Presidency

One 82-year-old lady loves Obama and she may have a very good point. She says that Obama is amazing, and is rebuilding the American dream! She gives us an entirely new slant on the "amazing" job Obama is doing, and she says that she will thank God for the President. Keep reading for her additional comments and an explanation.

When discussing Obama, she says:

1. Obama destroyed the Clinton Political Machine, driving a stake through the heart of Hillary's presidential aspirations - something no Republican was ever able to do.

2. Obama killed off the Kennedy Dynasty - no more Kennedys trolling Washington looking for booze and women wanting rides home.

3. Obama is destroying the Democratic Party before our eyes! Dennis Moore had never lost a race. Evan Bayh had never lost a race. Byron Dorgan had never lost a race. Harry Reid - soon to be GONE! These are just a handful of the Democrats whose political careers Obama has destroyed. By the end of 2010, dozens more will be gone. Just think, in December of 2008 the Democrats were on the rise. In the last two election cycles, they had picked up 14 Senate seats and 52 House seats. The press was touting the death of the Conservative Movement and the Republican Party. However, in just one year, Obama put a stop to all of this and will probably give the House - if not the Senate - back to the Republicans.

4. Obama has completely exposed liberals and progressives for what they are. Sadly, every generation seems to need to re-learn the lesson on why they should never actually put liberals in charge. Obama is bringing home the lesson very well:

Liberals tax, borrow and spend.

Liberals won't bring themselves to protect America .

Liberals want to take over the economy.

Liberals think they know what is best for everyone.

Liberals are not happy until they are running YOUR life.

5. Obama has brought more Americans back to conservatism than anyone since Reagan. In one year, he has rejuvenated the Conservative Movement and brought out to the streets millions of freedom loving Americans. Name one other time when you saw your friends and neighbors this interested in taking back America !

6. Obama, with his "amazing leadership," has sparked the greatest period of sales of firearms and ammunition this country has seen. Law abiding citizens have rallied and have provided a "stimulus" to the sporting goods field while other industries have failed, faded, or moved off-shore.

7. In all honesty, one year ago I was more afraid than I have been in my life. Not afraid of the economy, but afraid of the direction our country was going. I thought, Americans have forgotten what this country is all about. My neighbors and friends, even strangers, have proved to me that my lack of confidence in the greatness and wisdom of the American people has been flat wrong.

8. When the American people wake up, no smooth talking teleprompter reader can fool them! Barack Obama has served to wake up these great Americans!

Again, I want to say: "Thank you, Barack Obama!" After all, this is exactly the kind of hope and change we desperately needed!!

November 2nd is HUGE!!!!

Lobby-couple-in-chief couldn't bring home the Olympics for Chicago!

Can you hear the drums beating, the horns blowing, the cymbals clanging, and hear the taxpayers cheering? Can you see the confetti being thrown into the air by regular folk in Chicago who stood to gain nothing from the Olympics and from small businesses about to be displaced by the stadiums and village? The windy city of political corruption and cronyism, Barack's hometown, got the brass knuckle treatment - not only booted, but in the first round. What a blow to the lobby-couple-in-chief!

Many people thought the fix was in when Barack and Michelle, praised and partied everywhere on their European tour, flew to Copenhagen personally. How could a sitting president and first lady get rebuffed so thoroughly when they made such a sacrifice to fly to Copenhagen and give the pitch for the Olympics personally? Doesn't the IOC know who they are?

Well, I for one am glad to see this boondoggle, which would benefit the usual suspects and cost the taxpayers a bundle, go down in flames. Barack's Chicago buddies, including Czarina Valerie Jarrett, stood to gain bigtime from real estate ventures related to the Olympics. They're the losers, but the taxpayers are big winners. The Sydney 2000 games cost Australian taxpayers 2.2 billion! We have enough economic problems without that.
