Aqua's Conversion Story (Part 2): The Joy of Children!

Read Part 1 of Aqua's conversion story here.

How did our new Catholic Faith *CHANGE* anything for us, physically, specifically in our actions and behaviors? I have picked one obvious and lasting example. Everyone *should* have their own examples to tell, because everyone *should* be changed after conversion to the religion of Heaven itself in meaningful, practical ways here on earth.
For me, it was Life issues.

Former Disney Princess Exposes Wicked Witch, Planned Parenthood

Which Disney Princess?
Recently Planned Parenthood tweeted that Disney needs a princess who's had an abortion. Yes, they really said it. They also suggested a transgender princess. Really! Wouldn't you love to have your little girls being hugged and fondled by a man dressed as Cinderella or Ariel?

Apparently the blowback was significant, because they removed the tweet later and said the subject was too serious for the context. Right!

Well, now a former Disney princess, Deanna Falchook, who did in fact, have an abortion to keep her job as Cinderella has responded to PP. Here's an excerpt:

A Beautiful Adoption Story

If you know a single person who's adopted, I hope you help them out. It's a courageous act to make that huge commitment knowing you'll need to work, find sitters, etc. But what an act of love. And I can testify to Julia's doing it well with happy little Veeka a real-live testimony to love.

A Heartwarming Story for Sunday: Get Your Hankie Ready

After a 1929 rape, a reunion of mom and daughter

Rape is a horrible crime, but the baby is as much an innocent victim as the mother. This wonderful mom loved her baby and gave her up for adoption but never gave up on meeting her again even when she was nearly 100 years old. What a reunion that must have been.

My husband and I offered a shelter home for about 15 unwed mothers over the years when we were raising our family. Two were rape victims, one of a vicious anonymous attack, the other a date rape. The girl who'd been attacked used to have nightmares and I would wake her up in the middle of them to assure her she was safe. She never blamed her baby, but unfortunately she miscarried as a result of her injuries. The other young woman gave birth and kept her little one who is now a beautiful adult, married and the mother of a lovely family.

Some of the girls who lived with us kept their babies. Others released them for adoption. None regretted not killing their children. All of them held and cuddled their little ones. Think if this mother had killed her baby how many lives would never have come into existence. Praise God for the women who, like the Blessed Mother, say yes to God's will and give life to their babies.

I'm sure someone reading this will be horrified at my including Mary in the same sentence with young women who commit the sin of fornication. But all of us sinners can hold the spotless virgin's hand and be led directly to kneel at the foot of God in repentence and then see Him bring great good out of our sins. The young woman in this story was an innocent virgin, violated by the rapist -- but see what God did for her and her daughter. What a legacy! Praised be Jesus Christ, now and forever. I'm sure this is one family that is pro-life to the hilt. Adoption is a beautiful option.

What if Steve Jobs Had Never Been Born?

A lot of us wouldn't be using Macs, I-pods, I-pads, I-phones, etc. The story of Steve Jobs is a story about the value of one life. There are lots of others. Whether a person is a genius or just an average Joe, his life has value. Pray for all the babies in danger of abortion today that their moms will think of the possibilities instead of the problems.

Unborn Baby with Downs Syndrome Due in June Looking for Adoptive Family

Parents of a baby girl due in June are looking for a "forever family" who will welcome this special child. They desire a Catholic family with one stay-at-home parent if possible. They want to place the baby immediately after birth so the agency would like inquiries from those who already have their home study done. Are you that special family with a heart big enough for a child the world considers imperfect? Please pass this information on to anyone you know who may be interested in adopting a special needs child.

San Francisco Government Adoption Agency Advertises for Parents on Sado-Masochistic Homo Website

Adoptive Dads Sought on S/M Webpage

We all know that homosexuals who practice sado-masochism make the best parents, don't we? Especially for little boys who are such cute little chicks who would definitely enjoy living with the chicken hawks. What a great way to spend tax dollars, eh? After all, liberals tell us marriage is whatever you think it is and apparently so is parenting. Choose your partner from the following list and then sign up for adoption:

* same sex
* opposite sex
* one of each
* group according to taste
* man's best friend
* appetite of the day

The evil (and crazy) Roman emperor Caligula married (and murdered) his sister and made his horse a senator. He was a man ahead of his time. We think he'd be comfortable among today's liberals, especially in San Francisco.

Pro-Life Warriors on the Move

A woman is looking for a "sign from God" on the way to an abortion mill about whether she should go through with it. At a stoplight she pulls up behind your car and what does she see? A Choose Life license tag on your car. Pulling over to the side of the road she bursts into tears and decides then and there not to go through with the abortion. Yes, Virginia, you can make that big a difference.

The project to get the Choose Life license plates continues across the country. In Virginia we need about 240 more paid applicants in order to qualify. The money raised from the plate will be used to encourage adoption. Join this important movement by downloading the form and submitting it with the $25 fee ($35 for a personalized plate). This will be the easiest pro-life activity you do all year with the potential for amazing, life-saving results.

Choose Life Plates for Virginia - IM4IT

Virginia State Senator Ken Cuccinelli (The picture is not Ken, but former state delegate Dick Black, a pro-life hero who fought unsuccessfully for the tag in previous legislative sessions) will be introducing a bill to approve Choose Life license plates in the state. Let's make 2009 the year. The vanity plate will cost $25, but $15 from every plate will be used to promote adoption. We can do this! A website has been set up where Virginians can sign a petition for the plates and download a hard copy to collect signatures. Jump on the Choose Life bandwagon and help to bring the pro-life tag to Virginia. The pro-aborts will fight this tooth and claw because they are not "pro-choice" at all; they are pro-abortion and they oppose the choice for life!
