How Much Did Butter Cost in 2020?

We are on the way to economic meltdown. I just came home from the grocery store. Land o' Lakes butter is almost $8.00 for a two-pound box. I checked the inflation table and the cost of butter has increased by almost 35%. Consider that with everything else you're buying. And then remember that the feds are spending like drunken sailors to give goodies to illegals and to send trillions to foreign countries to wage war and protect their own borders when we refuse to protect our own.

It's insanity on steroids!

Don't You Wish You Could Do to Your Budget What the Feds Do? Print Money!

Written in the blood of taxpayers!

I was at the hospital yesterday getting blood work done. It felt like a metaphor of what the Biden administration is doing to the taxpayers these days. (Not that bleeding the taxpayers is anything new or restricted to Democrats!) The phlebotomist taking my blood was a delightful young mom with a four-year-old. She was telling me how she has nothing extra this year to buy gifts. She lives in an apartment building with her parents on the floor upstairs and an elderly friend downstairs. Her son and her cat roam the building freely among these loving neighbors.

Biden's Christmas Gifts to the Nation! Don't Forget to Send Him a Thank You Note.

Democrat politicians don't care about inflation, because they can afford it. (Hey, maybe Hunter can get even more for his "art.") But those already struggling among the poor and middle class are losing ground. Many in the middle class will be thrust into poverty by these "Let them eat cake" liberals. Think 2024 and start working for pro-life, fiscally conservative candidates now! Read: Inflation hits highest point in 39 years!

Cash for Clunkers Hurts the Poor!

Do you hear the Twilight Zone music playing? Here are a few problems with "cash for clunkers":

1) The government requires destruction of the clunkers, the very cars the poor can afford. I actually heard an interview on public radio with an auto dealer describing how they fill the oil tank with a mixture, then turn on the engine until it dies. One more car body for the landfill. And one less used car for someone who can't afford to buy new.

2) Do the poor benefit? No, but the auto workers' union sure does. This is a liberal payback.

3) Who's buying the cars? Folks who can afford them -- those who are relatively affluent. They get a deep discount on a new car courtesy of the taxpayers (including the poor). This is welfare for the wealthy!

4) Some auto buyers say the cost of a new car is higher. Auto dealers are jacking up the prices of new, fuel efficient models.

"Cash for Clunkers" is pretty on the outside but when you lift the hood there's no engine to run it.
