I'm scratching my head....
Since we have Obamacare, why do we need Planned Parenthood to provide, as they claim, health care for "poor and underserved" women? Isn't Obamacare supposed to be solving all health care problems? So why, exactly, do we need Planned Parenthood?
Maybe Cecile Richards can tell us how President Obama would answer that question since she's been to the White House 39 times since 2009. Check it out. But maybe they were talking about campaign donations and keeping the $528 million+ in taxpayer money flowing into the murder giant's coffers.
And are we surprised that White House is defending Planned Parenthood? Not hardly. After all, Obama wouldn't want his daughters "punished with a baby" if they got pregnant. As if a child born outside wedlock is somehow less worthy of respect than any others.
Note how, in the video below, the reporter identifies the New York Times and others as "supporters" of Planned Parenthood. Yup, the Times ceased being a "news"paper years ago. Every page in that rag advocates for liberalism as do most of the mainstream media outlets, which is why we need real investigative citizen-journalists to tell the stories the liberal hucksters are covering up. I'm sending the Center for Medical Progress a donation. I hope you will too.

How Knowing Your Fertility Can Catch Diseases Early
I taught Natural Family Planning (NFP) at Providence Hospital in Washington, D.C. for 15 years with my husband. It was a great experience. And what a blessing NFP was for our marriage especially when I had cancer and was on chemo and my cycles went haywire!
Our bodies are integrated. If something is going wrong in one part of the body, it's likely to affect other parts. NFP is a wonderful way to understand the gift of fertility with which we've been blessed. It's especially helpful for couples having infertility problems. I once had a client who came to a follow up class and told me her infertility doctor asked her where she "learned to do that." (i.e., chart her cycles) It eliminated several tests he would have run. Another client had a doctor who was treating her to get rid of the normal discharge associated with ovulation! I think I'd switch doctors.
It's a good idea to take some responsibility for your own health, and NFP can be part of that. It truly is part of the good news for the family.

As for their providing "health care," get real! Anything they offer that's truly health care, like pap smears and STD testing, is a minuscule part of their business easily provided by state health departments. I got this email from Ken Cuccinelli today. Wouldn't be wonderful to get rid of that political crybaby wimp John Boehner. I'm embarrassed that the man calls himself a Catholic. His politics have always seemed to be his first priority. In an interview with George Stephanopoulis, Cecile Richards had the gall to claim they make no money from selling baby body parts. She's a liar and her statement that the undercover reporters are responsible for murdering doctors and bombing abortion mills is defamatory and slanderous.
Richards also claims that women depend on Planned Parenthood for their health care. What health care? Their primary business is abortion -- killing babies for money.

Traditional Marriage: An Endangered Species
Somebody emailed me today about an article I wrote several years ago which is on the Les Femmes website. Rereading the article, I realized it is as relevant today, especially with the Synod on the Family coming up, as it was when I wrote it in 2010. And so I post some of it here with a link back to the original:In the past century the relentless attack on the institution of marriage has made it an endangered species. Individuals like Margaret Sanger, founder of Planned Parenthood, John Rock and Gregory Pincus, inventors of the pill, feminist leaders like Betty Friedan, gay activists and liberal politicians have all worked diligently to relegate traditional marriage to the ash heap of history. Unfortunately, some ostensibly Catholic laity and even priests and religious have joined them. In light of this, can the institution survive or is it in danger of extinction? Statistics paint a grim picture with more than 43% of first marriages failing.1Failures rise with multiple marriages. And many cohabitating couples never marry at all. It’s not surprising that this should happen in the century which, according to a vision of Pope Leo XIII, God gave Satan free reign to do his worst.2 But statistics never tell the entire story and, for the Christian, anthropology is incomplete without recognizing God’s intervention.
