If we were going to elect a black, non-citizen as president, we got the wrong man! Cardinal Arinze is my hero and I've had the pleasure of meeting him at the Apostolate for Family Consecration. What a sense of humor! Pray that Rome names some good cardinals for the American church in the image of Cardinal Arinze instead of the sorry lot we've got like Cardinals Mahony, McCarrick, Egan, and Wuerl and Archbishop Niederauer who can't bring themselves to correct pro-abortion politicians. Not only are they not as smart as fifth graders, but, according to Cardinal Arinze's assessment, they aren't as smart as the second grade First Communion class.
But Cardinal Arinze is not a citizen. It's against the Constitution for a non-citizen to be president. Never before has that been attempted ... oh, wait a minute! You mean it has? This go-around?? Sorry, my bad!!!
ReplyDeleteIn that case, let's nominate the Cardinal!
"Do you really need a Cardinal from the Vatican to answer that?"
ReplyDeleteSo long as we have politicians who twist and misrepresent Catholic teachings, that answer will be YES.
