It's shaping up to be a lavender and red inauguration: lavender for the gays, red for the blood of the babies.
These headlines are bad news for morality. We may as well rename our nation's capitol Sodom and Gommorrah on the Potomac. How long will the Lord withhold his wrath against a people who flaunt sins that cry to heaven for vengeance? Pray to Our Lady of America for a return to purity.

Obama Picks Pro-Abort Tom Daschle, former senator from South Dakota, to head up HHS This is a pro-life disaster.
Daschle, a baptized Catholic who is divorced and remarried was publicly reprimanded by his bishop in 2003. Robert Carlson of Sioux Falls, SD, sent a letter "directing him to remove from his congressional biography and campaign documents all references to his standing as a member of the Catholic Church." Get ready for a rocky ride come January. Take your rosary out of your pocket and pray it!
God is weeping at your blog. It is one of the most atrocious spewings of hate and slanted cynicism that is currently being written in a public forum. God says "Thou shalt not take my name in vain." Please adhere to his commandments and stop using him as your banner. If you have a problem with society today, step out and speak *your* mind and represent it as *your* thoughts, but don't pin them on our Father.
ReplyDeleteDo you read the Bible? I didn't make it up. The Bible calls sodomy and the murder of the innocent crimes that cry to heaven for vengeance. God isn't the Pillsbury Doughboy. He loves his children but he won't drag them kicking and screaming into heaven. Do a Bible search on hell and Gehenna. Jesus talked more about that than almost any other single subject, warning that the way is narrow that leads to life. I pray my rosary daily for the salvation of those in danger of hell. And if you find my blog so offensive, you have my permission to go elsewhere. Disneyland is nice.
ReplyDeleteYour attacks on several commentators quickly becomes condescending and insulting and without discussio. Our Catholic faith does not allow us to strike out and hurt others no matter what others have done. Two wrong don't make a right. You have immature childlike ways of trying to make others understand how you feel.
ReplyDeleteYou have lost your identity to the Church and being offensive when none is offered feels more like a cry for help.
Don't be a problem but be part of solving the abortion problem.
I am optimistic that people will do the right things if they have leadership by example. How many sermons have you listened to in Church celebrating the new baby without regard for how they came into the world?
How many mothers in your parish do you know have babies fathered by unfaithful spouses? Do you feel same way about those children and parents as might for grandchildren?
How would you separate medical abortions from immoral abortions?
The biggest question is how would you treat a mother or a daughter who has had an abortion? Would you care for her as much as a mother who has carried a baby to term?
Thanks, Dr. Turfkiller, I appreciate your psychoanalysis of me. As for how I treat women my husband and I had 15 unwed moms live with us over the years including two rape victims. We treated them as our daughters. I've also spent years working in a crisis pregnancy center and sidewalk counseling outside abortion mills in the dead of winter. There is no such thing as a "medical abortion." If a woman is in trouble medically a pro-life doctor can nurse both his patients along and deliver the baby early. The pro-aborts show their true colors when they won't even defend the life of a late-term baby who survives the abortion. It's a contract killing and the mother contracted for a dead baby so that's what she's going to get.
