Homosexual Public School Teacher Engages in Psychological Abuse of Student

How would you feel if your teenage son or daughter was held up to ridicule and psychological abuse for defending his Catholic faith? That's what happened to a student in Howell, Michigan school district. What's even more outrageous than the teacher's behavior is the school district backing him up. Public schools are now so corrupt that while they discriminate against all things religious, they celebrate a lifestyle that leads to drug and alcohol abuse, life-threatening illness, and an increased likelihood of suicide. More and more frequently Christian students are being attacked in the classroom as "bigots" and "hatemongers" for having the courage to defend moral standards recognized for thousands of years. Sodomy isn't a lifestyle; it's a deathstyle.

Catholic student 'bullied, humiliated' by teacher: Instructor 'promoted' homosexuality rather than economics class material

  1. The public schools are the death of education. It's time to push for real education through innovative home schooling. In the Internet age there are so many ways to enhance real education using easily available and helpful materials that there is no excuse for public school and putting up with the abuse and propaganda.

Check out KHAN ACADEMY for example.

  2. Homeschooling is NOT the answer. Homeschooling promotes your own ideas and belief systems, to be sure, but gives children little to no exposure to the fact that not everyone believes the same way and contributes to the polarization of our society. It literally makes me sick to my stomach every time I hear of a family pulling their children out to homeschool because of issues like this. This is the real world. Gay people exist. Bullies exist. Atheists exist. Pedophiles exist. Even Democrats exist. Teach your child how to deal with and cope with the situation. Make situations like these (obviously inappropriate if what is said here is true) public and work to fight against them... but don't homeschool your children ESPECIALLY via the internet. Good grief.

  3. You have the wrong idea about home schoolers, Anonymous. Do you really think the kids are locked in the house and are never exposed to other people? I home schooled my youngest from 3rd-7th grade then sent her to a solid Catholic school. Instead of being propagandized by the liberalism of the public school, she was learning how to actually defend against wrong reason. She is a mom of two now and a mature and sensible young woman. All home schoolers have to do to expose their kids to other ideas is read the paper.

As for the "polarization of society" that is inevitable given the battle between good and evil and disintegration of moral truth. What exactly is the meeting point between those who advocate killing children and those who oppose it?

There are several million young adult home schoolers now. They are solicited by colleges because they have the learning skills to actually succeed as self-motivated scholars. Those who are out in the working world are contributing members of society. Some are entrepeneurs who are self-employed. And, yes, they also tend to be more conservative than their public school peers. Thank God!

Instead of showing the brainwashed responses of many young people they actually know why liberal policies don't work, that same sex relationships cannot be equated to marriage, and why a welfare state collapses.

Letting kids run the gauntlet of the public schools while big brother ridicules and beats them up is a crap shoot. Maybe they will survive. But if they get into a fight with a teacher or administration like the one in this post, do you really think it's a fair fight? The young person will be the one bruised and bloodied. And it's likely he will capitulate to avoid the battle and the ridicule of the peer group.

I'm all for home schooling and have two children home schooling their combined ten children. Bravo is my response.

  4. Let me take a shot at Anonymous:
    1) "Homeschooling is NOT the answer."
Was there a question? That's a assertion without a predicate. Homeschooling is like any other schooling. It aims at presenting principles and skills, arts and crafts to students. The only proper measure of any ideas and beliefs is whether they are true. Not whether they are popular, the consensus, or anything else -- so the test should be truth.

    2) "Homeschooling promotes your own ideas and belief systems, to be sure, but gives children little to no exposure to the fact that not everyone believes the same way and contributes to the polarization of our society." I'm curious why you think that the usual mass media don't provide all the exposure to pluralism that is required? Do you imagine that a person is improved by being exposed to as large a variety of degradation as possible?

    3) "It literally makes me sick to my stomach every time I hear of a family pulling their children out to homeschool because of issues like this." You mean the state run indoctrination centers that we are told are schools are preferable to homeschooling. Wow ... do you have children? Have they been through the system? There is no evidence of the public school producing a very high quality result. Since I teach at the college level and see the general run of output from these I can tell you that most of them can't do multiplication without a calculator. They can't write cursive and many can only print in block letters slowly. They don't know English grammar. They can't write a very coherent essay. After two years of high-school algebra many can't tell you what the equation of a straight line is and even with their calculator can't distinguish the slope and y-intercept. Wow, is that something you want to call an education. If the schools were working well the homeschool movement might not exist.

    4) "This is the real world. Gay people exist. Bullies exist. Atheists exist."
My is this supposed to be something I don't know? Why does it matter? The important thing to note is that homosexual behavior is an objective moral evil. (Is that taught?) Homosexuals are made not born. All the evidence until people stopped considering evidence was that homosexuality arose from arrested sexual development in puberty. Bullies exist and should be disciplined. (That doesn't happen very well either.) Currently the discipline consists of having the bully shake hands with the person they bullied and letting the victim know that he is at fault for the bully attacking him. I have experience of this enlightened behavior. Finally atheists are people who want to do whatever they want without concern for eternal punishment. They are in denial about God. The illness is with them. The proofs for the existence of God are quite ironclad at the metaphysical level. Consult Thomas Aquinas and his commentators. Note that Thomas's treatment in the Summa is essentially a synopsis given to people who already knew the proofs thoroughly. You can of course deny anything. Solipsism is a particularly effective way of doing that.
    5) "Pedophiles exist. Even Democrats exist." Of course! So do thieves, other forms of perverts, even anonymous blog responders who don't know what they are talking about.
    6) "Teach your child how to deal with and cope with the situation. Make situations like these (obviously inappropriate if what is said here is true) public and work to fight against them... but don't homeschool your children ESPECIALLY via the internet. Good grief."
It's interesting how pointless this advice you are giving is. Have you ever dealt with the administration and teaching staff of a public school? Maybe you should learn something about it. Putting children in a bad environment is a recipe for destroying the children. They become brainwashed by the modernism and decadence that pervades the schools. That's why things are going down hill. Homeschooling is about parents taking responsibility for the education of their children. This worked for thousands of years. Modern public education is a relatively recent arrival on the scene and if you research it you'll find that it was saturated with political motivations and modernism from the beginning. As for the Internet. The advantage of the internet is that it is a medium which can provide universal communication from good education sources to people all over the nation and world. You can do a lot of education with that. Meanwhile, find out what you're talking about before you start to blather. Currently the internet is so effective that it is killing off much of the print media. It is also very effective at delivering instruction. See Khan Academy. Most textbook companies are currently working on ways to deliver textbooks and coordinated instruction via the internet. Increasingly this will make homeschooling and tailored education programs affordable and easily delivered. The colleges which have become unaffordable are starting to watch their backs. 21st century education is going to look very different from what we have today, and high time!

  6. Bingo! I think we've discovered another reason why the libs spout so much venom at Tim Tebow! Besides being a believing Christian, he was (gasp!) home-schooled! Look how much "tolerance" he's getting!
