The Roman Tyrant, Nero |
I wrote the other day about the thugs and tyrants who embrace the coronavirus with enthusiasm as a means to control and oppress. Sad to say they've been emboldened by the virus and the pandemic of fear surrounding it. The Democrat party overflows with these thugs! [I recommend the Ron Paul video at the link above if you haven't watched it yet!]
Remember the story of Nero who started a fire in Rome as a pretext to murder Christians? Some of our own home-grown thugs are channeling Nero today. Let's look at a few (emphasis in italics is mine):
- Democrat Gov. Andy Beshear of Kentucky who's instructing police to record the license plates of Americans who attend Easter services so he can send his brownshirts from the health department to their homes to demand 14 days of
house arrestself-quarantine because, “If you’re going to expose yourself to this virus, it’s not fair to everybody else out there that you might spread it to.... Understand, this is the only way we can ensure your decision doesn’t kill somebody else.”
His statement is absurd! People are more likely to infect their neighbors at the grocery store than at a church following careful health guidelines. As for accusing people of their decisions "killing" someone, you can do that spreading the common cold. Anyone feeling the least bit unwell needs to stay home out of respect and concern for others. In view of the fact that the virus can be contagious in those who are asymptomatic, keeping distance from others makes sense outside family groups. But Beshear's extremism attacks our communities turning them into concentration camps of distrust and hostility. Not only is it not helpful, but it turns the Constitution on its head allowing medical tyranny with Anthony Fauci as the new Roman Emperor and Bill Gates his enforcer!
- Then there's Democrat mayor of New York City, Bill de Blasio. He's declared houses of worship "non-essential." Like Nero, he targets those pesky believers in truly draconian style:
"I want to say to all those who are preparing the potential of religious services this weekend – if you go to your synagogue, if you go to your church and attempt to hold services after having been told so often not to, ourThis hits home for me because I've been in church every day since the lockdowns around the country started, observing sanitary and social distancing guidelines. This morning there were no more than six of us in church during my husband's and my 45 minute visit and part of the time only three. Our church could easily handle 40-50 people with more space than the guidelines call for.gestapoenforcement agents will have no choice but to shut down those services....No faith tradition endorses anything that endangers the members of that faith. So, the NYPD, Fire Department, Buildings Department, and everyone has been instructed that if they see worship services going on, they will go to the officials of that congregation, they’ll inform them they need to stop the services and disperse. If that does not happen, they will take additional action up to the point of fines and potentially closing the building permanently."
Andy Beshear, governor of Kentucky explains it all for you. I'm the boss, people? You better listen to me or else! You have no idea what I can do to you Constitution or no Constitution! |
They didn't!
In fact they set up chairs in strict compliance with the distancing protocol and installed, at major cost, hospital grade air purifiers to protect the congregation. The entire story around this episode stinks and Liberty Council is defending the pastor over his false arrest. Read about it here. Since this horrendous episode the Church has received death threats and shots were fired on the property. Not only does the state action threaten religious services but all the other ministries including their farmers' market, food pantry, and other aid to the poor and shut-ins in their community.
But, hey, all those government officials sheltering in their gated communities with servants and government flunkies they can use to run their errands....no problemo for them. No bread? No money to buy any, you deplorables out there? Hey...have some cake!
Last week a Baptist pastor in Kentucky, Jack Roberts, who plans to defy Beshear's order tweeted this:
Time to put on your thinking hats. If someone says we know the church spreads the virus, Walmart, Lowe’s, Home Depot etc are essential we need to close the church down. Do you think the virus just generated in this church or was it carried in from somewhere else it’s sad anyone gets infected even sadder it’s contagious but trying to blame churches or a particular church is unthinkable. Politicians need to stick to trying to figure a way to steal our money and leave the spiritual life of America to the ministry of those God called to preach the WORD.A legal group is already lined up to defend Pastor Roberts if he's arrested. Yes, the lawsuits are coming. I only hope there will be a few from Catholic bishops arrested for opening up our churches. But I'm not holding my breath. I expect that most would comply with any order coming from Caesar even if it means depriving us of the Mass indefinitely.
What a time for tears for Catholics!
I don’t think there will be any Parishes open for Easter, except the brave SSPX. Even with Texas now opening back up by order of Governor Abbott, and a growing consensus the virus is in remission, I think Texas Bishops will still remain closed until given the all clear signal from Pope Bergóglio.
ReplyDeleteThere will be many Protestant “services” open, and they will joyfully celebrate the Lord’s resurrection in their own way. Those are my former people. And I still have great affection for them.
And some "experts" are predicting this situation will go on for the next 18 months. No church for you!

Fauci suggests we should never shake hands again. Hey, Moms, stop holding your babies. And, Dads, if you play ball disinfect it every time before you throw it and make sure Junior wears gloves!
It's the new population control movement - never touch anybody ever again.
ReplyDeleteWith the help of our Bishops, we've quickly transitioned from "WE, the People, ...
ReplyDeleteto We the Sheeple. Saul Alinsky would be proud.
More thuggery this time in Mississippi where church goers listening to a sermon IN THEIR CARS were issued $500 tickets! And I'm sure you heard about the woman ticketed for taking a drive in her car BY HERSELF in Pennsylvania. We are currently living in a police state. If we don't fight this, what do you think will happen next time there is a serious flu or virus? Are we going to shut down the world every year?

This week I responded to the virtue(sic) signaling of a pro-abort, heart(?)stricken environmentalist, satanist Alinskyite over the 'dire need' for population control. I refused to argue but I did say: After you...you get to go first. Everyone in that group is rich and elitist. Of course, they won't be on 'the list'. Just means more for the ever-shifting 'in-group'. The horror is that communism brings snakes and scorpions and dung beetle beings(?) out of the sewers. The rats, pickpockets and betrayers of the world rush and scuffle to the fore...or the microphone. Watch out for your wives, children and wallets!
ReplyDeleteTrump teaches by allowing people to do what they do, and allowing other people to observe. In this crisis he has allowed the Democrats to oppress the people in the stayes and cities they control. The truly outrageous examples of tyranny and religious bigotry have occurred under Democrat governors.
