Which is better? Here....or Here?

  1. The Moscow video is fascinating for me. The city has changed quite a bit since I visited it in 1987. It was a dreary, unhappy place then, complete with plainly-obvious plain-clothes policemen following us Americans around everywhere we went. I suppose they do the latter with cameras now (here in Commie U.S.A. too), but the difference in general atmosphere is quite dramatic.
Philadelphia: it's called Filthydelphia for a reason.

  2. As a Philadelphian, this video is both embarrassing and heartbreaking. The neighborhood shown is Kensington and if you saw the first (and only good) Rocky movie from 1976, this was Rocky and Adrian's neighborhood. It was a solidly Catholic neighborhood which of course was RAAAACIST!!!! so the social engineers used de-industrialization to their advantage to usher in drugs and section 8 housing to change that. Today, it is what this video shows. Busting up Catholic parishes (neighborhoods that were defined by their Catholic parish boundaries) was a priority for the social engineers in the 1960s and 1970s. It also didn't help that the post Vatican II Catholic Church did nothing to fight back, nor evangelize the newcomers to the neighborhoods.

As for Moscow, I am not surprised that it is what it is in this video. They hit rock bottom and suffered greatly during all those years of communism and the globalists attempts to destroy her post-communism. When you hit rock bottom and have the resources for a renaissance (i.e. oil, gas, minerals and other sanction-proof resources), the possibilities are endless. It you think that Moscow looks impressive, do a search for St. Petersburg and then turn on the images - it's one of the world's most beautiful cities. Imagine how much more beautiful she will be after the consecration takes place.

May Our Lady of Vladimir continue to wrap her mantle of protection over Russia. May St. Michael the Archangel and the holy angels defend Russia against the forces of satan trying to destroy her. St. Andrew, St. George and St. Nicholas: please pray for Russia, President Putin the the Russian military.

  3. I’m not sure what your point is! I didn’t look, but I’m sure you can find videos of beautiful American cities as well?! And, as TF alluded to above, Moscow has changed quite a bit in 36 years but I’m sure you can find videos just as disturbing from Moscow.

After viewing this video, looked up the leader they mention that is in prison: A Russian court on Friday issued its verdict in a new case against jailed opposition leader Alexey Navalny, convicting the politician of promoting "extremism" and extending his time in prison by 19 years, according to Russian state media and his own team.

  5. The Philly clip brings back so many memories, none of them good. Way back in the '70s my job at the time had me walking the streets and going into the houses of the Kensington & Allegheny Avenues area where the video was taken (as well as North Phila and West Phila) thousands of times over a span of seven years. It was poor but relatively clean. K&A was also where Rocky was filmed and where the character lived and trained (not in South Philly as most mistakenly believe). It's so heartbreaking to see what nearly all of the poor areas of the city have become. No surprise, though, since the mayors and City Councils have been exclusively Democrat since 1952.

I knew someone would say exactly what you say, that is, that the same clips could be found for both Russia and America but....Alex Christoforou (the Duran) just did 2 weeks of news from Moscow and St Petersburg. He walked the streets of Moscow which I found stunning. There was not a piece of trash anywhere in any of the Moscow videos, no graffiti anywhere, the underground metro was stunningly beautiful, no loitering, no homeless people (San Francisco), no fat obese people, no tattoos, no pink, blue, green or purple hair, people looked happy, well fed, beautifully dressed, and no streets like Kensington in Philadelphia.
I'm certain that there are no videos on YouTube showing drug addicts in Moscow's streets like in Philadelphia. It would be a crime in Russia, as is putting graffiti on the beautiful buildings. Russia has become what America used to be and America is now the old Soviet Union what with crime, trash everywhere, addicts on the street, putting opponents in jail and FBI agents (like the Soviet KGB) spying on traditional Catholics.

I started watching the first video where, lo and behold, the young woman is outside in the middle of the night (3:00am) on the streets walking her dog. She must feel safe unlike here in America where a person would have to be nuts to walk outside at 3am in Chicago, Orlando, NYC, Los Angeles, Detroit, Atlanta, etc. She has enough money to get her hair colored and styled, she has a car, she coming to America to study. Life for her can't be too bad there.

I've worked three jobs here at one time. Also, her friend says she has no hope or whatever while talking to her friend who's going to the US to study, has a car, gets her hair styled, etc. Whine whine whine. As for jailing the opposition (Alexy Nalvany), well, that's exactly what Biden and the deep State are doing to President Trump.

  8. Don't cry for president warp speed. Not only does he deserve jail for imploding economy and imposing Soviet style tyranny. Going to jail is part of the same reality show schtick as when he shaved the head of WWE Vince McMahon.

He and Vlad are birds of a feather in their leftism behind faux conversative masks. One is Epstein puppet the other kgb.

  9. I have been watching videos with Mike Jones (Secret Agent) and with Patrick Lancaster reporting on the war since it began. I have seen some downtown areas, shopping malls, parks, etc that are clean and well-kept. I am especially impressed by the large parks with plenty of room and equipment for playgrounds. I am glad that Putin and others have had the foresignt to accomplish such improvements in a relatively short time. I wish our country would return to caring for the cities and neighborhoods. I hope to see the US flourish again. I would love to stroll the streets of my home town on a Sunday afternoon, but it's become dangerous in the past few years.

  10. rohrbachs, you're a very tiresome Never Trumper and a don't know history very well. Always with the anti-Trump comments which have nothing to do with this post. You're a Forever Biden Deep State Puppet voter which means you agree with abortion in all stages including infanticide, inflation, continuing the war with the Ukraine Nazis, sending 113 BILLION to support the Nazis, Hunter's money deals with China and Ukraine, his sexual use of underage girls, his underpants and red scarf picture, and Jill Biden's tacky taste in gaudy clothing. Plus the Obama girls left Martha's Vineyard the day after their chef was murdered(?). Yes, I know that has nothing to do with this post but just want to put that out there since you think that's a positive move in comments.

    1. My view is Biden is a smart , experienced government official. A public servant. He listens with an open mind and is able to be flexible and if your argument is wise and true he will change his mind. He respects his fellow Americans regardless of race, gender, religion and gender identity. Thank you Joe!

  15. I wonder if you all read each other's posts. Though I thought it was a hell of a thing to give one's brother, 'poor Tom', the nick name 'great' because he once lived on a grate (did you say that to his face or just behind his back? How witty of you!), still I think it would give any Christian pause esp when posting a video like this. Is all you can think of -- arrest them because their lives look so awful to me (?) Sure you were around 'don't walk on the grass,' Rambo, One Flew over the Cuckoo's Nest and Easy Rider (sure there were some in the 50s about women in insane asylums and prisons), deinstitutionalized the insane and special ed, and declared vagrancy laws unconstitutional, but really what is the Christian response? Should they be locked up and sterilized for being feeble minded etc.? Wasn't there always a bowery in every town? Russia has a cold climate, but sure people are the same everywhere and sometimes it may be the person's fault or just bad luck but as Jesus said, "the poor will always be with you" and there will always be opportunities for charity for the wise to profit from. (But you can move to Russia w/General Flynn who before he was appearing at rosary rallies w/Bishop Strickland or at RT banquets sitting next to Putin was a democrat supporting sodomy and abortion and awarding transgenders).

'I had an unfortunate brother who spent some times homeless and on the streets. I called him my "great" brother because for awhile he was living on a "grate." For a long time we didn't even know where he was. He was angry because we didn't contact him when our dad died. "How could we," I asked him. I called an aunt in California who had the last contact with him and she had no idea where he was. "What could we do, Tom, advertise in every paper in the country?"

Poor Tom died in his fifties, I think in 1996," of a sudden and massive heart attack the first of my nine siblings to die. I still grieve for him and treasure a letter exchange we had for a time when he was unjustly imprisoned by an evil psychiatrist who was using him to launder money. When Tom turned him in to the IRS, he not only had my brother falsely involuntarily hospitalized but had his son break into Tom's apartment. He also physically assaulted another doctor who had taken Tom's side. Talk about a soap opera! I'm committed to the charity now of praying for the repose of Tom's soul and often have Masses said for him. I beg your prayers for him as well. How much I long to see him again in heaven."

    1. Tom was my brother too and he had some truly great moments. I do not describe him as unfortunate but many of his choices and actions were, just like some of mine. I believe he did not get the help he desparately needed.

May all who need this help, compassionate understanding, encouragement, comfort and a sense of bring welcomed into a "family" receive it.

It is not always possible by immediate family when fear and trust has been compromised on both sides.

  16. Susie,
At this point Biden has lost to senility whatever "smarts" he had, if any at all ever. Biden is a servant of his own interests but now is merely an old puppet with strings manipulated by deep state globalists.

He's responsible for continuing the proxy war with Ukrainian Nazis against Russia because the Collective West wants to regime change Putin (hahaha)...(the US has managed 70+ regime changes the world over in the past 5 decades). He wants to balkanize Russia, make her people slaves through neo-colonialism and steal all Russia's vast resources for the West...you know, since the West has wasted all our own resources.

Biden is an evil killer of children in the womb, and infanticide outside the womb if the child has the audacity to live. Biden opened US borders to drugs, cartels, terrorists and child trafficking.

Biden has allowed homelessness on our streets, drug shooting and snorting addicts on the streets of cities, and gang robbery of shops, stores, and businesses.

He's given us inflation - mainly because of the West's sanctions against Russia which has made the Russian economy boom while ours is lowering Americans into poverty.

"Etcetera, etcetera, etcetera." - King Mongkut

Susie, you must live in a liberal bubble.

    Cheers!
