Don't hold your breath! This is their pathetic response in answer to the Pope's latest blasphemy against God:
WASHINGTON - In response to the Declaration “Fiducia supplicans” (FS) issued by the Vatican’s Dicastery for the Doctrine of the Faith today, the U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops (USCCB) offered the following statement from its spokesperson, Chieko Noguchi, executive director of public affairs.
“The Declaration issued today by the Vatican’s Dicastery for the Doctrine of the Faith (DDF) articulated a distinction between liturgical (sacramental) blessings, and pastoral blessings, which may be given to persons who desire God’s loving grace in their lives. The Church’s teaching on marriage has not changed, and this declaration affirms that, while also making an effort to accompany people through the imparting of pastoral blessings because each of us needs God’s healing love and mercy in our lives.”
Bishop Barron, played "Let's Pretend!" with his statement as Chairman of the USCCB Committee on Laity, Marriage, Family Life, and Youth. You can read his LaLa Land remarks here claiming that the document upholds marriage. What nonsense! As for inviting people to accept the Lord's "forgiveness," there is nothing in FS that indicates the "couples" in irregular situations need forgiveness. There's nothing to repent from.
The USCCB resembles the evil bureaucracy in C.S. Lewis's That Hideous Strength. Through the Catholic Campaign for Human Development (CCHD), they fund organizations that support abortion, contraception, sodomy, etc. They have helped elect some in Congress who hate the Catholic faith and do the most damage to our poor country. Like the Sanhedrin, they seem eager to sacrifice certain prelates for the sake of the USCCB "nation," i.e. an organization more concerned with the Almighty Dollar than Almighty God.
The feds have, indeed, bought the silence of many, perhaps most, of our bishops! Tyrant-in-chief Joe Biden is delighted with the latest papal outrage and will no doubt be happy to encourage the further silence of our shepherds by greasing their palms with more tax dollars. So...while dioceses and conferences all over the world are coming out in opposition to the diabolical disorientation of Fiducia Supplicans, any criticism in the United States comes from individual clerics.
The usual gay cabal here is clapping their hands and doing a whoopi dance to welcome FS. James Martin bragged on national TV about his blessing a "married" gay "couple." (Oh...but it wasn't a liturgical event, just a blessing in his living room. But he was soooo moved.)
Cardinal Blase Cupich called the document "a step forward." He's right about that...one step closer to the abyss. Will your mitre decorate the floor of hell, Your Eminence?
Archbishop Vigano released a statement saying those who advance this evil are “servants of Satan and his most zealous allies.” He called the fake rationales in FS a "strategy of deception" and a "grotesque farce," rationales that:
obviously serve to drag souls away from God, to erase Grace in them, to stain them with sin, to obscure their conscience in such a way that the next fall is all the more casual the more serious it is.
Like many of Pope Francis' actions, this latest document scandalizes and will lead people into sin. No need to repent. It's a Martin Luther moment: "Be a sinner and sin boldly."
LifeSiteNews is keeping track of the response to FS. You can check out the Catholic world's reactions by clicking on the link below. You will know the faithful shepherds from the wolves by the positions the shepherds take to this document. "Woe to the false shepherds!" This is a Sodom and Gomorrah moment and it may be the flashpoint that sends fire and brimstone to destroy the evil and renew the Church! Be filled with hope and trust. God is not mocked!
The simplest solution is that bergoglio is not now, and never was ...pope. The usccb? well, now that is another matter
ReplyDeleteThe ostrich with his head in the sand pretends not to notice when his tush is being kicked.
ReplyDeleteA rhetorical question with the answer that when some future pope with whom it will be difficult to be more Catholic than with the current one withdraws it!
ReplyDeleteI’m a Francis acolyte. He’s the only reason I see any reason to stay Catholic. Maybe we should schism like the Methodists? I am just as devout to my modern parish life as you are to your old fashioned one. Gladly left TLM behind in my childhood! Blessing for our gay, divorced, cohabiting, and other “unusual” couples can only be a good thing.
ReplyDeleteNever!
ReplyDeleteWell, Anonymous (5:25), you may as well join the Methodist or Universal Church because you obviously don't believe in the doctrines Jesus taught. No doubt you will talk about "love" but he defined love as "keeping My commandments." Personally, I am a follower of Jesus rather than a "Francis acolyte." Much of what he teaches is scandalous. And scandal leads people into sin. How many active same-sex attracted individuals will abandon their grievous sins of sodomy because of Francis? He is an ear-tickler surrounded by ear-ticklers who lead many to hell. God is not the Pillsbury Dough Boy! God calls us to convert, repent, and lead a life conforming ourselves to His will. To refuse that is to reject God and to reject God is to choose the world. Not a good bargain!
