This should have happened ages ago. NETFLIX should have been indicted for their promotion of suicide with their disgusting series, 13 Reasons Why. They promote porn, rape culture, drugs, gender ideology and just about every immoral perversion out there. I ditched the evil group several years ago over their suicide enabling with 13 Reasons Why and haven't missed them one day since. Who's next?

Glamorizing Suicide and its “Seductive Appeal”

Living in a culture of death with all its ugly trappings can tempt us to sink into what John Bunyon, in his allegory The Pilgrim’s Progress, called the “slough of despond” or what others describe as the swamp of sadness and despair. Abortion, euthanasia, suicide (including assisted suicide), and all the other depressing moral evils of our day dance around humanity pounding us with the message that life is meaningless and not worth living. It is, of course, a lie, but one that seduces many souls already fighting mental illness, guilt, depression, or hopelessness.

One sad sign of the state of the culture, is the increasing number of suicides, particularly among the young. A leading cause of death in those 15 to 29 is suicide. Young women attempt it more often, but young men more often succeed as did my precious 18-year-old grandson who killed himself on May 2nd.

I love Anne of Green Gables. When I read this article it made me hopping mad!

How dare they pollute an author's works with their depraved imaginations. There is absolutely nothing in the Anne of Green Gables series that Aunt Jo is a lesbian.

Aunt Jo is a delightfully opinionated old lady who brooks no fools. I think she would be irate, and rightly so, over NETFLIX taking the liberty to tarnish her good name. She would certainly not be a liberal!

There have been spinsters throughout history and speculating about a fictional character's lesbianism  is sick, particularly when the author is a Christian, the wife of a Presbyterian minister who thought being a wife and mother was the most important work a woman could do.

If you're Catholic and still subscribing to NETFLIX you are supporting the perversion of children with this piece of trash and Big Mouth which masquerades as an "adult" cartoon. And then there's the glorification of suicide with the suicide revenge fantasy 13 Reasons Why.  Oh...and then there's the movie they stream that opens with child pornography. Did you know NETFLIX is under investigation for that? Distributing child porn just happens to be illegal.

Netflix Spiritual Enrichment

One year for Lent I gave up coffee and I thought I would die. Strong hot black coffee fuels my body and stimulates my brain as I zoom off into the day. I fondly remember that particular Easter Sunday as one of the happiest days of my life when once more coffee nourished my general outlook on life. So, no, I did not give up coffee for Lent this year. 

After searching my brain for possible sacrifices where not much whining is involved I decided not to watch my favorite shows on Netflix but instead to use Netflix as a source of spiritual enrichment.
