Can things get any crazier? Absolutely! See what Biden's EEOC has in store for Christians!

When Sanity Reigned!

Editor's Note: Bob Marshall, a personal friend, has spent his life fighting for the unborn and for common sense government. Citizens who care about this country would do well to listen to his voice of sanity. Do you have any contacts on the Hill? Do you know any federal, state, or local government workers who will be affected by this latest assault on truth and reality? Please share Bob's article widely. Persecution of Christians in the workplace is already here. Don't be silent as the vice grip on freedom of speech is tightened to muzzle Christians while allowing the enemies of Christ free rein. Bob provides links to your senators and representatives. Please use them to oppose this latest draconian attack on, not only Christians, but all people who love truth and reality!

The Colorado Baker Won his Case, but Don't Celebrate Too Soon!

Don't pop that cork yet!
I've been following the case of Masterpiece Cakeshop artist, Jack Phillips for some time. And I'm glad he won the right to refuse to bake a cake for a same sex wedding.

But before you jump up and down and proclaim that we've won for religious liberty, take a look at the decision which was written by Justice Anthony Kennedy with a 7-2 majority (interestingly the same split as Roe v. Wade).

Every Young Woman Needs to see This!

Dr Jordan Peterson
Dr Jordan Peterson is the University of Toronto psychology professor currently taking on gender-neutral pronouns. The BBC reports, "His employers have warned that, while they support his right to academic freedom and free speech, he could run afoul of the Ontario Human Rights code and his faculty responsibilities should he refuse to use alternative pronouns when requested.
Dr Amanda W Peet
Professor of Physics
University of Toronto
They also said they have received complaints from students and faculty [no doubt self proclaimed "non-binary" transgender physics professor Amanda Peet] that his comments are "unacceptable, emotionally disturbing and painful" and have urged him to stop repeating them.
Dr Peterson has said if he is brought up before the Ontario Court of Human Rights and put in prison he will go on a hunger strike.
Dr Peterson has several worthwhile videos on YouTube for those of us not fortunate enough to be students in his classroom. Below is an exceptional video that every young woman should watch, especially those thinking careers should be considered first before children and family.

Free Speech: Who are the real Fascists? Use the Law to Fight the Left!

When our forefathers wrote free speech into the Constitution they certainly were not thinking of flag burning, riots, screaming protesters, physical attacks on opponents, etc. Too many people today, even some so-called conservatives, justify heckling and shrieking disruptions as "free speech."

We expect liberals to say that; but it's time for conservatives to call a mob a mob, even those who don't resort to physical violence. Going to a talk and disrupting it with whistles or screaming, etc. is NOT free speech. It's the opposite of free speech. You can disagree. You can ask hostile questions. But shouting somebody down because you don't like the content of their speech is not exercising free speech rights. It violates the free speech rights of others. When it happens in a classroom at an institution supposedly dedicated to the free exchange of ideas, it is especially appalling. Like this pathetic display of ignorance below.

This event was particularly appalling because the university was involved in the suppression of free speech which resulted in Shapiro filing a civil lawsuit which forced the university to change its policies. It's called tough love and it's what every conservative needs to be prepared to do when free speech rights are violated. Bring charges against those who use physical violence against you. Sue when necessary!

Wilson High School Censors Pro-Life Group

Poster censored by Wilson H.S.
Public High School Censors Pro-Life Students, But Not Pro-Homosexual Group
Interesting, isn't it, that defending the right-to-life is deemed "offensive," but promoting homosexuality (which includes depraved practices like anal sex, fisting, etc.) is perfectly fine. Which club is healthier for students? Consider the fact that MSMs (men who have sex with men) are at a much higher risk of STDs than those who don't. In fact, their risk of deadly diseases is more than 40% higher according to the CDC. Did anyone ever get AIDS or chlamydia, or syphilis from defending life? But Wilson High administrators would rather promote a club that is a health risk to students than one defending the life of all people from its first beginning to its natural end. Seems like the Father of Lies is entrenched at Wilson.

But the Thomas More Society is working with the Bryce Ashberg who founded the pro-life club and other students to protect their constitutional rights. Send a message to Wilson administrators that their unconstitutional censorship will not go unchallenged. Go here and sign the petition. Be polite but firm.

Atheists Want to Shut Down Congressional Prayer Caucus

The title is redundant. Atheists believe their god,
Nothing, made everything. Pretty dumb!
Ah tolerance and diversity...what a beautiful thing -- except for Christians, which is why the American Humanist Association is trying to shut down the Congressional Prayer Caucaus. You wonder if these folks who incessantly talk about the "separation of Church and state" ever read the Constitution. Here's what the First Amendment to the Bill of Rights says:
Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.
Do you see anything there requiring a "separation of Church and state"? Not at all; those words don't exist in the Constitution. They were in a letter Thomas Jefferson wrote making the point that "the wall of separation" protects people of faith from government, not vice versa. Do you see anything in the free speech designation making an exception of religious speech? NO! The First Amendment essentially says, "Government, keep your hands off the right of the people to practice their faith freely and without interference." And members of Congress have the same rights as other citizens. If some of them want to pray together that God's will be done in Government, GET OVER IT, ATHEISTS! And as the joke says, celebrate your own high feast day on April Fools' Day!

One more word on the First Amendment. It also protects the right of children in state schools to write poems and speeches that mention God, wear t-shirts with religious messages (if any message shirts are allowed), draw pictures with Christian images, sing Christmas carols, have Bible study clubs, etc. Every parent whose children's rights are violated should fight tooth and claw. There are plenty of public policy legal groups to help and they are successful. Go here and here. Let's put the irreligious, leftwing fringe on the defensive for a change.

Christians Arrested on White House Sidewalk!

Exactly why should the White House sidewalk be designated a restricted zone for free speech? If any places are most appropriate for defending fundamental rights of our Constitution they are in front the White House, in front of the Supreme Court, and in front of the Capitol, the sites that symbolize the three branches of government. A big thank you to the courageous Christians who took their message to White House!

Police Stop Prayers Outside White House

The pictures of Christians praying on the sidewalk reminded me of the suffragettes arrested by Woodrow Wilson for demanding the vote. We know who won that battle.

Suffragettes demonstrated for the right to vote. Christians' are demonstrating for something even more fundamental -- the right to freedom of religion. Let's remind President Obama of statements he made at the U.N.:
"[O]ur Constitution protects the right to practice free speech. Here in the United States, countless publications provoke offense. Like me, the majority of Americans are Christian, and yet we do not ban blasphemy against our most sacred beliefs....in a diverse society, efforts to restrict speech can become a tool to silence critics."
President Obama has attempted to restrict free speech on numerous occasions. His actions against people of faith are even more egregious. The right to freedom of religion is the first right guaranteed by our Constitution. If President Obama can eliminate that right through the HHS mandate, can loss of free speech be far behind?

Speaking of Wars: Have You Heard of Brandon Raub?

He's a decorated veteran who was forcibly taken (not arrested) and admitted to a mental health institution for things he said on Facebook in a private group. Apparently this is happening to vets all over the country. Think about it. What are you saying on Facebook that can get you committed by Big Brother as an anti-government threat? And who is watching you and following your timeline? By the way, Brandon was released by a judge's order after about a week of commitment.

This is scary. Thank God Brandon's brother had his phone ready to photograph the unconstitutional assault against this family. And thank God for the Rutherford Institute that came to his defense.
