AARP sells out seniors, and in the UK: no surgery for you!

No wonder the AARP endorsed the plan. Follow the money! Here's what the American Family Association says about AARP's endorsement:

"PelosiCare will also cut Medicare Advantage by $170 billion. Medicare Advantage allows seniors to purchase private insurance with their Medicare payments, but these cuts will drive many of these seniors into inferior Medigap plans.

"AARP has a vested interest in seniors being driven out of Medicare Advantage into Medigap plans because AARP makes a fortune in royalty fees from Medigap plans. More than one-half of its $1.1 billion budget comes from such royalty fees, and Medigap plans make up the biggest share of this royalty revenue by far."

AARP sold seniors down the river for their bottom line. When health care rationing is instituted and seniors can't get hip and knee replacements because they're "too old" or they have to wait in line for months or even years to qualify what will AARP do for them?

Won't happen, you say? It already is under the UK socialized medicine debacle. Three surgeons in Letterkenny, Ireland recently blew the whistle on how they are sitting around doing nothing (and earning about $300,000 a year to do it) because the national health service is out of money. They are conserving by canceling all "elective" surgeries which includes hip and knee replacements which disproportionately affects older people. Welcome to health care rationing. "Take the pain pills, pal, no surgery for you!"

Two Days Too Young: Government Program Condemns UK Preemie to Death

A baby born in the UK was denied care because he was born two days too early. Government guidelines refuse care to babies younger than 22 weeks. Little Jayden was 21 weeks five days old when he was born prematurely. Doctors refused to give the mother injections to try to stop her labor as well as abandoning the newborn to death. A little girl born in the U.S. in 2006 just short of 22 weeks survived. She is a healthy

This is the reality of government rationing. Bureaucratic health care standards will take the place of a doctor's assessment. Jayden lived for two hours without any intervention. His mom is now trying to get the regulations in Britain changed.

Oppose socialized medicine. Health care rationing is the inevitable result and dead babies like Jayden.

Obama's Health Czar Favors Rationing

Among the reasons America's health care is so expensive are advances in treatments in the last twenty to thirty years that offer a better quality of life as people age and a greater probability of cure. Consider the difference that knee and hip replacements have made in pain-free mobility for the elderly. Dialysis offers those waiting for kidney transplants a longer window of opportunity. In-utero surgery saves babies who wouldn't have survived the pregnancy twenty years ago. Advances in cancer treatment have made the word less terrifying as more and more Americans beat the disease.

Ezekiel Emanuel would like to see health care rationed and one can presume that his views are shared by the man who appointed him as an advisor. And yet, do you think he would have recommended rationing for Ted Kennedy? He wants to eliminate options for those with dementia, how about an incurable brain cancer? Would he have urge Kennedy to forgo the aggressive treatment that enabled him to live 15 months beyond his diagnosis and call for palliative care only?

Tell Congress to Use Government-run Health Care if they Inflict it on us.

Congressman John Fleming, a medical doctor from northern Louisiana, has introduced a bill calling on members of Congress to use the same health no-care they plan to inflict on the citizens of America. Obama-care government health plan assaults the elderly.

Fred Thompson recently interviewed Betsy McCaughey. It's a real eye-opener. Betsy, a former lieutenant governor of New York, has read the entire bill and cites chapter and verse about this abusive bill that scapegoats the elderly and rations their care. Consider the impact on older Americans of being denied hip and knee replacements and common antibiotics for infection.

Obama-care targets the boomer generation for denial of health care benefits and mandates death counseling. Every five years the elderly will be REQUIRED to attend a session on how to end their lives earlier by refusing food, water, and antibiotics (See pp. 425-430 of the plan). Anyone diagnosed with a serious disease must be counseled AGAIN. Those with incurable diseases like dementia can be denied care altogether. Rationing is inevitable. Medicare will be cut by 584 billion while large numbers are added to the rolls.

Remember after Roe v. Wade when pro-lifers said that murdering children would result in euthanasia of the elderly. Welcome to the brave new future...It's here!
