Years ago I debated the abortion issue alongside a pro-life doctor against two feminists. Afterwards, one of the women came up to me and said, "You're good; you don't need him." A man, in her eyes, was a useless impediment even if he was a medical doctor who had delivered thousands of babies. That was about 40 years ago. In the interim, feminists seemed to do well, breaking the "glass ceiling" and taking their place as CEOs and in the board rooms.But there were other effects also, perhaps unintended. Feminist radicalism turned many men into "metrosexuals," feminized men; and homosexuality grew in epidemic proportions. The bizarro world of fashion today dresses male models in outlandish girly costumes that make many of us cringe. "Who wears that stuff?" Perverts in pride parades, of course.
And the lament grows: "Why can't I find a good man to date?"
