Here's a list of vendors supporting gay Orlando and Gay Days at Disney. (It started on the 28th and runs through June 3rd). I sure won't be visiting Macy's any time soon. And I never did like Bud Light -- one more reason not to drink it.

Can you imagine the poor clueless families who end up at Disney during gay days? All that money to see a bunch of grown men running around acting like teenagers in their red shirts daring anyone to look at them cross-eyed. Disney's gay days indicates more than anything that homosexuals are stuck in developmental immaturity. Think about it. How many real men, adult men, want to run off to an amusement park with  their buddies? It's just plain weird. And think of the poor maids at those Orlando hotels. It makes me shudder.

Well, the IRS has mud on its face for targeting tea party and other conservative groups. (It's still going on by the way..) But IRS isn't the only agency persecuting the Obama enemies' list. The big guns of the FBI, the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), and the Department of Justice (DOJ) are being leveled at pro-life groups around the country.  No surprise from a pro-abortion administration that labels pro-lifers "domestic terrorists," but the persecution may become the next administration scandal. They may have picked the wrong guy this time. Chris Slattery never backed down from a fight in his life! And he's represented by another fighter, Jay Sekulow of the American Center for Law and Justice (ACLJ).

I know I'm not. I used to write occasional articles for the diocesan paper, but I'm blacklisted and have been for years. They won't even publish a letter to the ed unless I sign it with a pseudonym. Because, heck, I'm mean. Hey, if you dare to criticize the scandals promulgated by our pathetic bishops, you must hate the Church.



What ever happened to the spiritual work of mercy, "To admonish the sinner." Most bishops have dropped it down the memory hole. Besides, the only unforgivable sin, worse than the sin against the Holy Spirit, that can result in serious retaliation is to criticize the bishops.

Clearly fornication and advancing moral evils is okay as shown by Cardinal Dolan's bowing and scraping to Mario Cuomo. Wonder what the bishops think of that mean ole John the Baptist with his politically incorrect extremist talk. How dare he call the religious leaders of his day a "brood of vipers?" Beheading was too good for him.

It will be interesting to see how my own bishop treats Terry McAuliffe, candidate for governor, a pro-abortion, pro-gay Catholic (sic) who attends St. Luke's in McLean. When McAuliffe starts trashing REAL CATHOLIC Ken Cuccinelli who defends the unborn and stands up for traditional marriage, will voters be advised that these are serious moral issues for Catholics - issues that are immoral to support? Or will McAuliffe get the wink and the nod and the pat on the back in the parish parking lot filled with bumper stickers advancing his pro-abortion, pro-gay career? What do you think?

Churches Saying Good-Bye to the Boy Scouts!

Any boy could be a scout. He just needed to shut up. The scouts essentially had the same policy as the military's Don't Ask Don't Tell. Why couldn't the gays leave it at that? Simple, they want to legitmize the lie that homosexuals are born and not made. Thank God some churches recognize where this juggernaut is going and are getting out of its way now. I salute Bill Bright, an Alabama lawyer, who is returning his Eagle Scout badge to the BSA.

I love good, honest atheists! And I've met a number of them. One was a young man counter protesting an Operation Rescue event in the early 90's in front of Planned Parenthood in Washington, D.C. He was shouting at us and calling us names, saying we were "stupid Christian bible thumpers." I got the impression he was an atheist, although I don't remember if he ever acknowledged it.

In fact, "bible thumper" that I am, I did have the good book in my backpack and told him I used it to help me develop my own philosophy of life. "What do you use?" I asked him.

Obama said he would "punish our enemies and reward our friends " and he meant it!

If you're a patriotic American, you are on the enemies' list. Get used to it! Do you really believe nobody at the highest levels of government knew?

And the Holy Spirit Descended in the Form of a Dove

This lovely photo was taken on Wednesday May 15th, a few days before Pentecost Sunday at the Wednesday audience. Some pilgrims presented the pope with a cage holding two doves. He released the first one. The second got its wings caught in the bars of the cage, and sat for a few moments on the pope's hand before flying away. I believe these are homing pigeons. They are often released at events like weddings and funerals. They return to their home coop.
But what a lovely gesture just a few days before Pentecost Sunday. And how happy Pope Francis looks as he releases the bird. He does have about him the aura of a joyful man. And look at the two men behind him. Joy is contagious. Smile a lot today. It will be a gift to everyone you meet! Rejoice in the Lord always.

Hypocrites and Laughing Stocks in the Chancery!

Well, the truth is out. The New York Archidiocese is paying for abortion, contaception, and sterilization through some union contracts. And in Detroit Catholic hospitals are dispensing contraceptives. Undoubtedly, they are not isolated cases.

Shocked? Disillusioned? Not me. I have no illusions left and we've seen it too many times!



No wonder Cardinal Dolan welcomed Obama to dinner. They are moral twins. Or maybe clones is a better term since so many of the bishops are members of the club, i.e., hypocrites and liars. How are the laity supposed to respect our "shepherds" when they habitually tell us one thing and do another? When will we see the bishops walk the walk instead of talking the talk with forked tongues?

Pray for the bishops. I'm afraid maybe we get the leaders we deserve because we haven't fought (or prayed) hard enough! But God help us! As they say, with friends like this who needs enemies?
