Officer's Oath: The Lt. Col. Terry Lakin Story

He went to jail for refusing to defile his oath to uphold the Constitution from enemies both foreign and domestic. All he asked was that President Obama do the same thing every military recruit is asked to do -- provide a birth certificate. Terry Lakin and Barack Obama: a man of honor vs. a man of lies.

I look forward to reading Dr. Lakin's story. He deserved better than the persecution he received from a military that has been hopelessly politicized.

  1. What Lakin did was the equivalent ot this:

"Get in the boat soldier. We are about to invade in Normandy." Answer" "No sir, I won't, not until FDR provides his birth certificate."

Lakin refused a perfectly legal order given to him by a superior officer (not by Obama). He was ordered to go to Afghanistan, where he could have saved the lives of American soldiers, and he refused to go. Not the actions of a patriot, and not legal under Army regulations.

  2. He went to jail and was given a dishonorable discharge and lost the right to practice medicine in his state because he refused a legal order to go to Afghanistan, where he could have saved lives.

  3. And George Washington was a traitor for opposing George III and should have been executed or jailed for treason.

The dishonorable man in this scenario isn't Terry Lakin. President Obama should be impeached for violating our Constitution numerous times including refusing to carry out laws passed by Congress like DOMA, for refusing to defend our borders and attacking a state (Arizona) for protecting itself in conjunction with our country's laws, etc.

As for his being refused a medical license in the state of Kansas -- what can one expect from a state that elected Kathleen Sibelius and gave a medical license to serial killer George Tiller.
