If Today You Hear His Voice, Harden Not Your Hearts.

Our Lady wept over our sins at Akita.
It's time for us to weep and repent!
It seems like the 3:00 a.m. hour is my middle of the night call to prayer. It's 4:15 now and I've been reading the Book of Daniel. This sobering passage brought me up short:
O Lord, we are shamefaced, like our kings, our princes, and our fathers, for having sinned against you.....we rebelled against you and paid no heed to your command, O Lord, our God, to live by the law you gave us through your servants the prophets. Because all Israel transgressed your law and went astray, not heeding your voice, the sworn malediction, recorded in the law of Moses, the servant of God, was poured out over us for our sins. You carried out the threats you spoke against us and against those who governed us, by bringing upon us in Jerusalem the greatest calamity that has ever occurred under heaven. [ the Babylonian captivity]...this calamity came full upon us. As we did not appease the Lord our God, by turning back from our wickedness and recognizing his constancy, so the Lord kept watch over the calamity and brought it upon us. You, O Lord, our God, are just in all that you have done, for we did not listen to your voice. (Daniel 9:8-14)
Are we listening to the voice of God today? Are we listening to the warnings of the Queen of Heaven who tells us she can no longer hold back the wrath of God against us? Her messages at Akita in 1973 were apocalyptic:
As I told you, if men do not repent and better themselves, the Father will inflict a terrible punishment on all humanity. It will be a punishment greater than the deluge, such as one will never have seen before. Fire will fall from the sky and will wipe out a great part of humanity, the good as well as the bad, sparing neither priests nor faithful. The survivors will find themselves so desolate that they will envy the dead. The only arms which will remain for you will be the Rosary and the Sign left by My Son. Each day recite the prayers of the Rosary. With the Rosary, pray for the Pope, the bishops and priests....Pray very much the prayers of the Rosary. I alone am able still to save you from the calamities which approach. Those who place their confidence in me will be saved.
Who can read her message and fail to see their fulfillment in the Church today. Was Our Lady seeing the Amazon Synod as she spoke these words to Sr. Agnes?:
The work of the devil will infiltrate even into the Church in such a way that one will see cardinals opposing cardinals, bishops against bishops. The priests who venerate me will be scorned and opposed by their confreres... churches and altars sacked; the Church will be full of those who accept compromises and the demon will press many priests and consecrated souls to leave the service of the Lord.
The demon will be especially implacable against souls consecrated to God. The thought of the loss of so many souls is the cause of my sorrow. If sins increase in number and gravity, there will be no longer pardon for them.
It is never too late to call upon the name of the Lord and beg his forgiveness or to beg Mary's intercession for the conversion of the world. Scripture tells us:
If my people who are called by my name humble themselves, and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and heal their land. (2 Chronicles 7:14)
Every morning the Church raises her voice in the invitatory psalm 95 giving us our daily marching orders. "If today you hear his voice, harden not your hearts!" Will we respond?

  1. Mary Ann, when you read Daniel 9 chapter at night, did you come to verses 24-25? The Blessed Virgin said these verses (and Matt 24:42-44) as a supplementary reading to the 3rd Secret of Fatima https://www.traditioninaction.org/Questions/B352_Secret.html
Note the imperious tone of the Holy Virgin at Fatima and her power revealed in Akita:"I alone am able still to save you from the calamities which approach. Those who place their confidence in me will be saved." I alone am able .... (their) confidence in me ....
    Who is She really?
