Tweeting the Truth! Send a big thank you to Bishop Tobin.

When a bishop acts like a bishop, something all too rare today, we need to thank him. So I urge you to send Bishop Tobin a big thank you for tweeting the truth. Some are saying he apologized after a tremendous international (and hate-filled) backlash, but that isn't true.

Here's the tweet. Simple. It just tells Catholics the truth. A friend of mine from the San Francisco area describes the parades there where homosexuals go nude, masturbate in public, engage in sodomy in the street, where S&M garb as master and slave, etc. Yes indeed, "pride" events celebrate grave immorality. Bishop Tobin spoke the simple truth.

I Didn't Feel Welcome at This Brewery So We Went Elsewhere!

My husband and I decided we'd visit a brewery today and try a flight with a snack. We found one advertised on Trip Advisor in Watkins Glen right down the street from the state park where we'd hiked. Trouble is...when we got to the place there was a large gay flag out front. 

Catholics are called homophobic hate-mongers for daring to say that acting on disordered sexual attractions is sinful. So when I see the gay flag celebrating  sodomy outside an establishment, I know that I and my beliefs are not welcome there. Oh...they will no doubt happily take my money as long as I keep my mouth shut. But what if I'm wearing a pro-life T-shirt or one that says "straight pride?" What kind of reaction do you think I'd get?

So we skipped it. 

Instead we stopped at the Chamber of Commerce in town and picked up a list of breweries along the Seneca Lake wine/brewery trail. What a ride! The lake views are breathtaking!

I hope many will respond to Mike Voris' call for acts of reparation for those working to replace the Judeo-Christian ethic with the "gay pride" celebration of sodomy and other perversions. May God have mercy on us.

The Biggest Bullies on the Block!

Every time I read "gay" propaganda about anti-bullying, I shake my head. Homosexual activists are the biggest bullies on the block. They terrorize those who oppose them, even making death threats. Here's what a  reader sent me about pastor Chuck McIlhenny who was a minister in San Francisco in the 1970s before the murder and secular canonization of Harvey Milk.

Rev. McIlhenny fired an organist on a morals charge for being a practicing homosexual. The man sued and the minister won the case. Later Rev. McIlhenny's house and church was fire bombed and threats were made to sodomize his son. No one was ever charged with the crimes. I heard this minister talk back then on a pro-life radio station and he was no fanatic who hated homosexual men. He just spoke out calmly against the behavior. Needless to say, he left the state and took his family. After that all hell broke loose in San Francisco, and the AIDS epidemic came. He wrote a book about his experience called "When the Wicked Seize a City4." That should tell you something about how bad it is down there at times.

Now that's bullying!

If I made a list of the most gay parishes in the U.S., Most Holy Redeemer in San Francisco's Castro District would have to be near the top of the list. The scandal there goes on and on. After being directed by the bishop to abstain from participation in the annual gay pride march a few years ago, MHR is back in full sodomy-promotion mode. The faith has disappeared in that parish and many others around the country where priests bless mortal sin. Remember the Bible passage that says a time would come when men call good evil and evil good? MHR illustrates it in spades! Their pastor is a false shepherd leading the sheep down the primrose path to the dropoff into hell. And the bishop who allows this to continue will have to answer for his spineless failure to govern. How long, O Lord? How long? Pray for Fr. Steve Meriwether that he will experience conversion of heart. When priests are mediocre their parishioners are bad. When the priest is actually evil, what will the people be?
