Catholics familiar with the outrageous things going on in the Church are all-too-aware of the Diocese of Orange. That's where the Barney Mass took place in 2006 (and may still be going on this weekend for all we know). Fr. Fred Bailey, the "unconventional pastor" is no longer at Corpus Christi and the diocesan website doesn't have a priest directory that I could find so I don't know where he is now. Maybe a reader can tell us.
Moral corruption is coming bigtime! Alinsky organizing is based on Machiavellian principles. The primary goal is "success" and any means to achieve it is justified. Now the Obamas are launching a new community organizing group and you can bet it will use all the immoral Alinsky strategies that have worked so effectively for them in the past. The first lady is pushing it and you better believe she has no problem with an obese federal government consuming the middle class and the Constitution.
Community organizing is about one thing: POWER! And it isn't power to the people, despite the pretense. It's power to the organizers using the people as their ramrod. (Remember history. Tyrants ALWAYS use the mob. Just look at the French Revolution, the Communist Revolution, the Nazis rise to power, not to mention the Arab Spring.

In fact, the Catholic Campaign for Human Development which promised to mend its ways is now worse than it was twenty years ago. Instead of only 30% funding of Alinskyite groups, it's now over half. Stephanie explains how the bishops "charity" is drumming up support for the HHS mandate while the bishops pay lip service to opposition. Remember that old saying, "Put your money where your mouth is?" Well, you can tell what the bishops (or at least their bureaucrats) support by where the money goes and it sure isn't for the defense and expansion of the faith. When will it end? When CCHD is abolished and the bishops conference is completely defunded. Don't give a nickle to CCHD. It resembles the evil organization in C.S. Lewis' That Hideous Strength.

It isn't enough to just get rid of a few bad apples when almost the whole barrel is rotten! One more example of liberals using Alinsky tactics to demonize and "freeze" the opposition. It's a game folks, but only one side knows it. And they are playing honest folks for patsies and fool. This is liberalism at its corrupt and dishonest best!
The Canadian bishops have a fund-raising organization similar to Catholic Relief Services here in the United States. But this video reminds me of another U.S. Catholic "Charity," the Catholic Campaign for Human Development. Besides the word "development" in their name, these groups have a big thing in common -- advancing abortion and other anti-life activities. While you watch the video reflect on CCHD money funnelled into campaigning for the most pro-abortion, pro-infanticide man to ever sit in the oval office. CCHD not only funded ACORN for years after its serious problems were revealed, but groups like the Industrial Areas Foundation (IAF) that infiltrates churches and turns them into community organizing/liberation theology components that work to establish socialism.

One of Alinsky's principles was to manipulate the churches to gain both power and money to remake cultures into his socialist utopia. For years CCHD supported groups actively engaged in abortion. After long criticism spearheaded by The Wanderer, CCHD stopped funding some unabashed pro-abortion groups. They changed their name by adding "Catholic" and continued funding groups that work closely with those that advance abortion, contraception, and same-sex marriage. Millions of dollars are taken from Catholics and diverted to liberal groups whose goals are diametrically opposed to Catholic teaching.
