Today's first Mass reading described the enemies who attacked the prophet Isaiah, but as I listened, I heard modern voices speaking out against anyone who, like the prophets of old, invites our modern culture to repent, submit to the will of God, and return to Him like the prodigal son. 

I've played a little loose with the text (in red) using the plural instead of the singular since Isaiah, to me, represents the prophetic role of all those challenging the immorality of our culture.

Hurrah and two thumbs up for these culture warriors! Watch the video of the Mass Resistance protest in California below. Things heat up when two bigoted, hate-filled liberals attack the legal, free speech rights of the protesters who believe Target's bathroom/dressing room policy endangers women and children.

Note the inability of these young women to engage in an intellectual discussion. This could have been a courteous and intelligent Socratic dialogue, but these foul-mouthed young women appear incapable of anything but a personal obscene-filled verbal attack. No doubt they learned this in tolerance 101 or maybe at the Gay-Straight Alliance meeting in their public schools.

They no doubt left the protest to go to their safe zone and suck their thumbs.

Mass Resistance Announces Formation of Virginia Chapter

I'm happy to say a Virginia woman has founded the first state chapter of the courageous group, Mass Resistance, that has been fighting the homosexual invasion for years, especially the assault on innocent children. The head of the new Virginia chapter, Linda Wall, knows exactly what she's fighting because she was immersed in lesbianism for years. Read her testimony here.

The website is a wealth of information including the fact that our public health commissioner is a man masquerading as a woman -- no surprise that our uber-liberal governor, Terry McAuliffe, who himself presided over a lesbian "marriage" last October would make such an appointment.

Dr. Mark Levin morphed into Dr. Marissa Levin and is now the top health officer in Virginia. That is scary when you consider the impact this man has on policy. Not to mention the fact that he is mentally ill. Dr. Paul McHugh, a psychiatrist at Johns Hopkins calls transgenderism a "disorder of assumption" and a mental illness. Battle to free Justina Pelletier continues in Massachusetts. On the streets and in the State House! The battle to free 15-year-old Justina Pelletier from her custody -- many have called it captivity -- by the Massachusetts Department of Families and Children (DCF) bureaucracy has become even more heated over the past week. And it has continued to make news internationally and be documented across the Internet. There were a lot of signs like this outside the State House on Tuesday. [Photos by MassResistance] Shocking deaths of children force sudden resignation of DCF head On Tuesday the Commissioner of DCF, Olga Roche, was forced to resign after three young children in DCF's care were recently found dead through apparent negligence by the department. The deaths of these children have shocked the region, and have taken some of the public's attention off of the Justina Pelletier DCF case. Governor continues to refuse to act The Governor has continued to shamefully defend the process and claim that he can do nothing to stop it: * Last week, Massachusetts Governor Deval Patrick stated that the decision to remove Justina from her parents was made "based on a detailed record of the history of neglect in the home." That was blatantly false, and the local press wasted no time excoriating the Governor for this unwarranted attack on the family. * But also last week, Governor told a family representative that he wanted to get Justina home and that his administration has "appeared in court to have her sent home to Connecticut" but that "the court has jurisdiction in this matter, not us." * On Thursday, the Governor's Health and Human Services Secretary John Polanowicz wrote an email to the Connecticut media, where Justina's family lives, saying that Massachusetts would like to release Justina, but "DCF does not have the authority to determine when and if custody should be returned to Justina's parents" because of the judge's ruling "that it is in the best interest of Justina to remain in DCF custody for now. " Can the Governor free Justina? Given that she is a citizen of Connecticut, and given the other enormous irregularities of this case, and given that he controls DCF, it's hard to believe that an executive order in that regard would not be possible. But if not, the Legislature can. Bill to free Justina being temporarily blocked in Mass. House The bill in the Massachusetts Legislature which would overrule the judge and free Justina immediately, HD 4212, written by MassResistance and filed on April 4, continues to be blocked by the Democratic leadership in the House, despite national outrage and a flood of calls and emails from across the country. On Friday, the national conservative magazine Human Events reported on the bill, its blockage in the Legislature, and the controversy over whether the Governor has the power to free her himself: "If Justina Pelletier dies in the state's care, that's on the hands of Gov. Deval L. Patrick," said Brian Camenker, founder and executor director of Mass Resistance, a Waltham-based pro-family action center, who filed H.D. 4212 with the state House in early April. If signed into law, the measure would release 15-year-old Justina to her parents Linda and Lou Pelletier who reside in West Hartford, Conn." Members of the family describe Justina, who was an athlete and competitive skater in declining health and in a wheel chair, he said. "I don't have the medical evidence but some say she could die." Protest at State House in support of bill to free Justina The demonstration for Justina outside of the State House. On Tuesday, about two dozen people demonstrated outside of the Massachusetts State House to support Justina and demand the Legislature pass the bill to free her. They filled the outside steps with stuffed animals for Justina. Four Republican State Representatives who have been vocal on Justina's behalf briefly came out and joined them in solidarity with their push to get the bill passed. Over a hundred stuffed animals for Justina on the steps of the State House! Republican State Reps (from left) Marc Lombardo, Jim Lyons, Shaunna O'Connell, and Geoff Diehl came out from the budget debates to show their support. Justina's sister talked about how Justina doesn't even know that one of her pets has died because the State of Massachusetts' DCF bureaucrats won't allow the family to discuss anything with her that's not approved by them. Administration's claim to media shows why the Legislature must act! The email sent by Massachusetts Health and Human Services Secretary John Polanowicz to the Connecticut media includes a number of disputed claims about Justina's health and well-being while in DCF custody. However, it reflects the Governor's position that no matter how he says he "feels" about the situation, he intends to let the Juvenile Court decision stand. Thus, barring a successful court action by the family's attorneys, such as the recent habeas corpus filing, Justina is at the mercy of the Juvenile Court judge, and by extension the DCF bureaucracy. But this is no "normal" case by any measure. The judge's actions in this case have been excoriated even by liberal law professor Alan Dershowitz. Besides a successful legal challenge there is only one other option: The Legislature can act to free Justina. But the Democratic leadership is bottling it up. Continue pounding on the legislators to get this bill passed! This week is being taken up by the budget deliberations in the Mass. House. But we're not letting that stop us. Will Conservatives Abandon the Moral Issues...and Become Irrelevant?

Events of the past few weeks indicate that the battle for conservatism is at a crossroads. With Ann Coulter scheduled to  speak at GoProud's HOMOCON event, and Glenn Beck declaring the gay marriage movement not important enough to engage, we're seeing the further normalization and acceptance of the gay agenda. And is it surprising? Gays have a lot of money. They also have plenty of social acceptance, both in the mainstream media and among the clueless young. They've won the "tolerance" battle convincing millions that sodomy is a civil right and that mutual masturbation and worse is equivalent to marital relations.

The fact is, criticizing the gay agenda will get you attacked and labeled a "nut job" quicker than almost any other issue, even abortion. Let's take one example from the gay playbook. If you want to experience first hand the "jamming" strategy of gay activists (i.e., screaming loud and long against anyone who challenges their agenda), just take a position exposing the vicious homosexual propaganda being paid for and promoted in the public schools with taxpayer dollars. Millions are being spent in Massachusetts alone. The money, among other things, has paid to print and distribute to teens the Little Black Book: Queer in the 21st Century. (Warning: clicking on the link will expose you to disgusting and graphic material. But isn't it interesting homosexuals can call themselves "queer" but if you do, you're a homophobic bigot.)

The black book is nothing but a teaching manual for perversion. You have to see it yourself to believe it and I urge parents with kids in public schools to check it out, because this type of homosexual indoctrination is not limited to Massachusetts.

The "condom guide" includes photos of the erect male organ with instructions on correct condom use. There's another double page describing various types of homosexual sex acts including titles in the margin and their definitions. Here are the titles:  "F***in', Suckin', Spit or Swallow?, Rimming? [with the definition], Watersports (P*** Play), Fisting, Toys, Mutual J***in' Off."

This is for children, remember. The book also includes a list of Boston bars and clubs for "the discerning queerboy." (And they say they aren't recruiting? )

Now the head of Mass Resistance who's been fighting this perversion is Brian Camenker. In my book he's a hero who deserves the thanks of parents everywhere for exposing the dark underbelly of the public schools. And yet when he's invited to participate in local tea party events, a RINO named Christen Varley who, besides being an establishment hack, also heads a poltically correct tea party with some of her friends has gone after Camenker bigtime. Varley, a friend of the liberal media in Boston, is trying to undermine any meetings that include Camenker. She managed to get most of the speakers at one tea party rally to back out which caused the event to be cancelled. (Bunch of cowards!) She also got writer Don Feder to cancel at another tea party event that went on without him. (I'm sure disappointed in Don Feder!)

The big danger to the tea party movement is that they'll buy the lie that they need to restrict the issues to fiscal conservatism and dump the moral issues. If they do that, the movement is dead, just one more useless version of what we have already. What's bringing this country down is our moral collapse. The financial crisis is the direct result of the moral collapse. A quote often attributed to de Tocqueville pegs it.  "America is great because she is good, and if America ever ceases to be good, she will cease to be great." We long since ceased to be good. Can we reclaim our moral heritage? I don't know. But one things for sure; we won't do it with political correctness. We need moral warriors. Brian Camenker illustrates the fighting spirit that made America great. He's a brave man. Pray for him and for his group. We need them!

The Left Talks about Tolerance: Is This an Example?

I did find the picture below very interesting because it's the same slogan used against pro-lifers. Anyone who's ever attended a pro-life rescue or march has heard the chant, "Racist, sexist, anti-gay; born again bigots, go away." What does that tell us, boys and girls? These folks are apparently the same gang recycling their trite message. They certainly aren't very original, or truthful for that matter. I always wondered why a racist bigot would risk arrest and ridicule to rescue black and other minority babies from the butchers at abortion mills. 

Obama's Safe Schools Czar isn't Safe for Children

Kevin Jennings, the X-rated homosexual activist who serves as Obama's "Safe School Czar" is as safe for kids as the guy in the proverbial trenchcoat hiding in the bushes near the school waiting for his next unsuspecting victim. Talking dirty to kids and recruiting them to the homosexual lifestyle has been his life's work. Mass Resistance has exposed his evil agenda for what it is and 53 congressmen have called for his removal.

Jennings is just the latest Obama scandal among the group of tax-cheats and bribe-takers masquerading as public servants at the White House. No wonder so many Americans are up in arms.

Same-sex "marriage" and what it means for your family

Who is in the best position these days to know what the impact of same-sex marriage is on a culture? Massachusetts and California where citizens are living the reality. What are the eyewitnesses telling us? Mass Resistance recently posted the devastating impact on their website and I encourage you to read the whole sordid story. But here's a thumbnail of what you can expect if it comes to your home town -- and it will if Barack Obama has his way.

• Schools at every level will celebrate homosexual marriage and will brainwash children to believe it's normal. In Mass high schools have assemblies, clubs, pass out tracts, etc. celebrating homosexuality. Middle schools have homosexual teachers discussing the most graphic details of gay sex in the classroom "because it's legal." Elementary schools use gay books like "King and King" to brainwash babies in Kindergarten.


• Libraries (both school and community) will carry books advancing and celebrating homosexuality including some that are nothing but pornography. Kids browsing the stacks will be exposed the worst kind of filth.


• Public health departments will downplay the devastating impact of same-sex practices.


• Businesses will be forced to provide insurance for perverted behavior that causes catastrophic health problems. All types of businesses (restaurants, caterers, wedding photographers, etc.) will be forced to accept clients against their consciences or be accused of discrimination


• Your tax dollars will fund homosexual activists groups (they already do) to a greater extend than ever. Public service employees will be forced to attend sensitivity training brainwashing sessions.


• Lawyers will be tested on their knowledge of same-sex law issues.

The answer to this is pray and fight! Ephesians 6 tells us to put on the armour of God and hold our ground. We've already lost so much ground in the last 40 years that we've been pushed to the wall. But when the wall is the cross of Christ we can withstand anything and fight back with the truth in love. Spiritually adopt a homosexual activist. Pray for him (or her) every day.
