Feeling Disoriented? Embrace the Fullness of the Faith!

Most readers probably recognize the aviation event called spatial disorientation. It occurs when the pilot's senses don't agree with the physical reality of the plane's motion and its relation to the ground. The pilot can't tell up from down or whether the plane is flying level or in a turn. A number of airline fatalities are directly related to spatial disorientation. Certain things exacerbate the problem, for example alcohol and some drugs including anti-depressants, anti-histamines, and some pain relievers (not to mention illegal drugs). 

Why do I bring this up? Because I think this elucidates the term diabolical disorientation. Many people today are living in an upside down world that they insist is right side up. They are often flying blind like the pilate who enters a cloud losing all contact with visual cues. That's when instrument flying becomes crucial. And if you don't have and use the instruments, you're headed for a crash.

Dear Readers, Before I begin today's post I beg for your prayers. My son-in-law's mother disappeared Thursday afternoon from a care facility in Arkansas. She has Alzheimer's and was checked in for the weekend while her husband flew to Ohio for the confirmation of two of our granddaughters. Barbara is still missing and, amid growing concern, we all pray for her safe return. Will you please join your prayers to ours? God knows where she is. May he lead the rescue workers to her. I expect many readers are familiar with St. John Bosco's famous vision of the Church in stormy seas being attacked on all sides by war ships trying to sink her. As the battle rages the barque of the Church anchors to two pillars. On top of the large pillar rests the Holy Eucharist. On the smaller pillar is Our Blessed Lady. Once the ship is anchored firmly, many smaller boats attach themselves to the the ship where the pope stands as its captain.

I found this video very interesting. We certainly live in difficult and challenging times. How would things be different if one of the popes had listened to Mary's request and consecrated Russia in the way she asked? There have been several imperfect consecrations which brought limited good results, but Mary's request remains unfulfilled after a century.

Well, really...instead of driving out demons (some of which are in your head) Jesus should have just euthanized everybody who wasn't "normal" in the eyes of the world. The "Brothers of Charity" will have to change their name to the "Brothers of No Charity."

The euthanasia proponents always claim there are safeguards in place, but these things (like abortion) have a way of becoming killing on demand. The worst part is that someone in his/her right mind who chooses this is likely to enter eternity under a portal that reads, "Abandon All Hope Ye Who Enter Here."

Brian Clowes, Director of Research and Training at Human Life International, is urging voters to support Donald Trump. The impact to the babies in the womb if Hillary takes office is devastating, Clowes says. His reasoning should give every pro-lifer considering a third party vote or sitting out the election serious pause. Let me quote from the article which was published in The Wanderer on September 15th:

If Clinton is elected "Millions more babies will pay the ultimate price. The Obama administration has backed up the abortion industry at every turn, but President Hillary Clinton will go much further. Pro-abortion leaders universally acknowledge that the three highest priorities of Clinton's presidency will be abortion, more abortion, and even more abortion.

Just what we need in the Church, eh? Nuns shilling for the murder of the innocent? That's what NCAN (National Coalition of American Nuns) is all about as well as contraception, homosexuality, and lots of other moral evils. Shocking, eh? Except that it's become so common.

Remember when nuns were in the classroom teaching little ones to read? What a difference a few decades makes! Now they're out teaching families to kill their children and encourage the survivors to screw anything in sight with abandon. There's a phrase for the attitude of these nuns. It's called diabolical disorientation. To see just how diabolically disoriented read about Sr. Donna Quinn, head of NCAN who declared the papal election of Pope Francis invalid because no women were "involved in the process." Read more about a woman who is all-too-typical of today's dissenting nuns who, by the way, are egged on by clerics like Fr. James Martin, S.J. God help our poor Church with people like this claiming to be believers.
