How the Vatican Bureaucracy is Used by the Liars in the Press

With the CCHD (Catholic Campaign for Human Development) collection coming up I'm thinking about the Church bureaucracy today. That reminded me of the recent "papal statement" (It wasn't.) relating to world economics and a central bank. The media has been hyping it as if it were an ex cathedra statement from the chair of Peter.  Actually, it was a committee study with no authority at all, papal or otherwise. But modernists (like Fr. Thomas Reese who was removed as editor of America Magazine due to his irresponsible undermining of the faith) can be depended on to use the Church bureaucracy's statements to attack the faith, promote liberalism, and put a Catholic gloss on efforts to reelect Obama and other pro-abortion liberals.

How to deal with these people of the lie? Know your faith. The fight is in the Church. Don't let the modernist heretics fool you and others. Join the Church Militant! Michael Voris offers the appropriate take on this faux papal doc.

Where are their habits?

I was just on the website of the Franciscan Sisters of Perpetual Adoration. You'd be hard-pressed to see anything that makes them spouses of Christ. They are engaged in all the liberal, "progressive" social justice ministries and new age nonsense without one word about the major moral issues of our times: abortion, euthanasia, embryonic stem cell research, and advancing the homosexual agenda. They link to many liberal organizations whose policies and programs conflict with Church teaching. They also kicked out one young man who was an associate in their prayer partners program with a weekly hour of adoration. His story is very revealing.

And how can a religious order that is focused by name on "perpetual adoration" of our risen Lord disobey Holy Mother Church by ditching the habit? Notice in the video below that our Eucharistic Lord isn't mentioned much. His name comes up only once in the context of water massage. (I am not kidding!) This group sound like a bunch of liberal ladies, very nice probably, but, in view of their website, gone off the deep end. I can just hear them discussing God as she and altering the language of scripture to make it gender neutral. Here's a sample from their page on ecological advocacy (my comments in red):
We celebrate God’s presence in all of creation by:

•Honoring relationships with and promoting earth as sacred. No, ladies, the earth is not "sacred." God proclaimed it "good" and we have a duty to be faithful stewards, but the pagans were the ones who believed in earth-gods. Earth worship (we worship what is "sacred") is heretical.

•Devoting spiritual energies and economic resources to the care of God’s creation. How about caring for babies waiting to be born? They are the "pearls of great price," but your "social justice" program ignores them.

•Nurturing and increasing cosmic awareness and social consciousness. What the heck is "cosmic awareness?" Is this the heresy of the "cosmic Christ" spouted by the likes of Matthew Fox? In view of your new agey website and your support for Reiki, I must assume so.

•Educating members to advocacy: political involvement, social change, sustainability and healthy lifestyles. Ah...here we have it. The christian life is about protecting the earth from global warming, saving the wetlands, and banning Big Macs. Note the word "sustainability" which is the same language used by the population controllers to justify abortion and birth control in the third world.

In this section of our website, presents FSPA’s sustainability efforts, partnerships in conservation and personal reflections.
The sisters in La Crosse are clearly off base. Pray for them, but stay clear, very clear of their influence. You don't want to be standing next to a house built on sand during a hurricane.

Shoveling it by the Truckload at the Bishops' Conference

Did you ever read C.S. Lewis' book That Hideous Strength? If Lewis had been Catholic and lived today, I would guess he modeled it on the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops (USCCB). Every time I read about another USCCB debacle I want to cry. Where are the bishops? Why are they allowing the organization that claims to speak for them to undermine the faith and promote liberalism?

But, why am I upset, you ask? I'm reading The Wanderer for the week of March 3, specifically an article by John Dejak, Why I Don't Bother Listening to any Statement That Comes from the USCCB. Dejak describes the reaction of the USCCB to Obama's gutting of conscience protection for medical personnel. Heres what he says:
The current policy of the administration would force health-care workers, contrary to deeply held beliefs, to dispense contraception some of which may contain abortifacient drugs that would kill unborn children. I quote the tepid resonse of the bishops made through their spokesperson Deirdre McQuade on February 18:
"The administration's action today is cause for disappointment, but also offers reasons for hope regarding an emerging consensus in Washington on the need for clear consceince protections for health-care providers."
The only "emerging consensus," Dejak points out, is that the administration will force every health care worker and pharmacist in the country to participate the killing children. No choice but the administration's choice. And there is absolutely no cause for hope in its actions despite the rosy statement of the bishops' silly mouthpiece. That the USCCB "spokesperson" would characterize the administration's assault on people of faith in such a twisted way, even calling it "welcome news," shows the epitome of political correctness or moral blindness so deep it is unpenetrable, or perhaps both. Dejak calls it "the worst form of obsequiousness to an immoral and coercive government." Yup! But what can one expect from the liberals in miters? Dejak sums up saying:
If the bishops themselves did authorize this statement, then -- horrible to contemplate -- they have betrayed the faith, their sacred office, and quite possibly their souls.
Perhaps it is time for the bishops of the United States to collectively condemn not only the Obama administration and its flagrant disregard for human life and the deeply held beliefs of others, but also the very unthinking political apparatus that continues to embarrass them -- now going on 40-plus years.
Yes, indeed, it is time for bishops of good will who desire to promote the truth to withdraw from the downright evil bureaucracy that promotes all kinds of atrocities in their name. The organization appears to be beyond redemption and it is patently unjust to take the money from people in the pew to undermine their faith and spew manure by the truckload.

Bellarmine Just Keeps Uncovering More Evil CCHD Grantees

In part two of their latest reports, Bellarmine shows how CCHD grantees work as change agents to make sure their targeted groups vote the right way, i.e., for "reproductive health" and homosexual rights.

Bellarmine lists seven groups funded by CCHD participating in the "Mobilize the Immigrant Group Vote" (MIV) project. MIV developed a specifically pro-abortion voters' guide and emphasized coordination and participation by its partners. These groups had to know what was going on. And they most likely provided bodies to go door to door mobilizing the liberal vote.

Faith in Community
People Organized for Westside Renewal – POWER
Coalition LA
Justice Overcoming Boundaries in San Diego County
Nuestra Casa
San Francisco Organizing Project
All of Us or None (listed as Time for Change per CCHD)

This is how the CCHD funds evil. See the full report here. It is nauseating to the liberals at the USCCB funneling Catholic money collected "for the poor" into groups working for moral evils.

Please pass this information around as widely as possible. Friends don't let friends be swindled into supporting evils under the fraud that they are "helping the poor."

More Protestants Breaking Up Over "Liberal Drift"

Like the traditional Episcopalians who recently broke away from ECUSA (Episcopal Church U.S.A.)to form the ACNA (Anglican Church in North America), traditional Lutherans are fed up with sodomy being sold as sanctity as well. They are exiting the liberal Evangelical Lutheran Church in America (ELCA) in droves. Many are exploring the Lutheran Congregations in Mission for Christ (LCMC) founded in 2001, the Wisconsin Evangelical Lutheran Synod (WELS), and the Lutheran Church - Missouri Synod, largest of the conservative branches with 2.4 million members.
