You would have been forgiven for wondering why, of all places, Trump chose the Madison Square Garden for one of the most important appearances in these last days of campaign.

I would have thought – if you had asked me – that Trump was, like every good candidate, devoting some attention to down ballot races, which is important if the Republicans hope to make inroads in NYS. I think this is certainly one of the reasons for the decision.

However, a couple of days later another, much smarter rationale emerged. The Trump campaign is better aware than even most of us of the extreme affection his supporters have for Trump. DENVER—As early as November 2023, armed Venezuelan gang members began to terrorize residents of an Aurora, Colorado, apartment building, according to a Denver law firm hired to investigate.
Law firm Perkins Coie’s 10-page letter to city officials details how the Tren de Aragua (TdA) gang took over the Whispering Pines apartments using threats of murder, intimidation, and beatings.

With most Democrats principles are malleable. Stick your finger in the wind and adjust them according to the popular meme of the moment (or who your donors are).

A news story that may not have caught your attention amid the government shutdown and the lunatic climbing the national Christmas tree reveals another subtle attempt to eliminate Catholicism and its followers from public life.  The link here reveals that a judge from Nebraska is being severely scrutinized by Democrats on the Senate Judiciary Committee who question his membership in an (HOLD YOUR BREATH!!) all male organization associated with the (LIONS AND TIGERS AND BEARS) Roman Catholic Church.  This link is to a Democrat page that outlines exactly why he should be opposed.  Clearly, it is because he is Catholic, though they don't mention religion specifically.
