Sometimes Ya Just Gotta Laugh. These "Sisters" are a JOKE!

The Sisters of Charity of New York recently came out with a statement criticizing Cardinal Dolan over his remarks about Charlie Kirk calling him a modern St. Paul. They went on to slander Charlie with statements about his racism, homophobia, etc. (Yawn.) Let's face it, they're angry because Charlie spoke the truth about sexual deviance, the disaster of our border invasion, etc.

Here's a question for you. Do these look like "sisters"? Would you approach one of them at an airport to ask for prayers? Do they really believe the tenets of the faith? Does all their talk about love include Donald Trump and the MAGA community?

And what about their "mission?" Here are some photos from their website. Let me repeat that. These photos are from their website on the section about "mission." Are you surprised?  They are just one more proud-to-be-woke group of aging hippies who call themselves sisters. There's not one word on their website about the most egregious evil of our times - the murder of babies in the womb!

How would you like having one of your children taught by them? They stand with the "LGBTQIA+ community". (Guess they had to add that plus sign because there are more "genders" than letters in the alphabet.)

The "Sisters" claim to be praying for all those who mourn for Charlie Kirk. Fr. Z challenged that asking exactly how they intend to pray. Will it go like this?: "Creator God, take all those who mourn Charlie Kirk as soon as possible to rid our earthly home of their racist, homophobic intolerance."

However they pray, their prayers won't be going on much longer. They stopped taking new vocations in 2023 saying their congregation is on "a path to completion." [Source] That made me laugh. Guess they just had to put the best face on their failed "ministry" and inability to attract anyone to it.

Despite laughing about this pathetic group, I confess it makes me sad. It's sad to see religious orders conceived by holy founders die, as their few remaining members ride off into the sunset in their wheelchairs.

A few in their congregation still wear veils. It makes me wonder if those few are faithful women who cling to the original charism of the order's founder. Are they suffering in difficult times making the best of their sad situation?

I met a nun once through a friend. She was in a woke religious order and suffered their contempt because she would not shed the habit. How lonely she must have been as she experienced a daily suffering of alienation. I also think of Fr. John Hardon among his Jesuit confreres. How much suffering must accompany those apostles who find themselves surrounded by Judases dedicated to a social gospel that has little to do with the faith as taught by Jesus Christ.

Today I'm praying for all those poor suffering religious that they may, by that very suffering, save many souls endangered by their woke associates.

Most Sacred Heart of Jesus, have mercy on us.

Our Lady of Sorrows, pray for us.

Are they destined to follow in the foot steps of another once great religious order, the Sisters of Mercy. Forget the 'airport' try the local Casino. Look out for the + 80 year old dressed in brightly couloured Pants suit and sporting immaculate hair styles and make up.
