Nabi Sayeth: Who’s Teaching the Teachers?

As you read the nabi’s post, consider that while priests were receiving horrendous indoctrination in the seminaries, laity attending Catholic colleges were also being indoctrinated in modernism. Today, any student attending a Jesuit college is likely to be exposed to gay pride events, queer film festivals, the V-monologues, etc. Only a handful of Catholic colleges teach the faith in all its glory. The attack on reason by the faith wreckers continues while the attacks on the liturgy magnify the destruction. When you see how often promotion of the gay lifestyle is involved, it is reasonable to assume the lavender mafia is a driving force behind the carnage.

Nabi sayeth: One of the primary duties of a clergyman is to teach. But have you ever wondered who teaches the teachers?

Of course, the first teachers the future clergymen encounter are their professors at the seminary, often clergymen and sisters.

One clergyman told Nabi about some of the teachers he encountered at seminary:

Nabi Sayeth: Beware the Lavender Amigos

Nabi sayeth: The cover up and infestation by the Lavender Mafia is deep, thick and has been long-term. Nabi spoke with a clergyman who recalls a particular episode that occurred in 1984 at the seminary of choice for the diocese in WV that will illustrate vividly the cover up games that have been played.

School Teaches 6 Year-Old Children to Write Homosexual Love Letters

Educate and Celebrate LGBT members
celebrating corruption of innocent children
Please copy and paste the link below to your browser to see the video (45 seconds) since I cannot find it on YouTube. It belongs to the BBC however is not on their channel either.

The above school is in Warrington, south of Manchester, England. They teach about LGBT relationships and sexual orientation terms BEFORE children have been given general sex education lessons. Parents cannot opt their children out of the LGBT classes because they are part of the mandatory health curriculum.

The curriculum used to teach sodomy to innocent children is Educate and Celebrate, supported by the BBC.

In the video the teacher encourages the children to write a same sex love letter: "You're Prince Henry. You're going to tell Thomas why it's brilliant idea for him to marry you."

Yes, isn't it just brilliant. At the Personal Judgement after God asks her what she did with her life while on Earth, this teacher will say, "I taught sodomy to innocent children, then turned around and persecuted your Church for sodomite activity by the priests. I know that's a double standard, God, but the priests were old enough to know that they shouldn't do that to innocent children."

Nabi Sayeth: If the Chancery Walls Could Talk, What a Story They Would Tell!

Nabi asketh: Where have all the Good Servants gone?

During FORMER Bishop Bransfield and his Lavender circle’s reign of opulence, numerous devoted, faithful and self-sacrificial people were “disappeared” from Diocesan positions. Why? Because they were devoted and faithful TO OUR LORD and generous in the amount of time they gave in service. But that wasn’t good enough for the crew.

The Eighth Commandment and Brett Kavannaugh

From the time I was old enough to read and reason, I’ve been aware of the eighth commandment, though as a child it didn’t have a lot of meaning for me.  We teach little ones to be truthful, naturally, but other than “because I said so” I didn’t know for a long time WHY this was important enough to be included in the Decalogue.

Know Thy History: KHARTOUM - Spoiler Alert! Everyone Dies

The death of General Charles George Gordon
Khartoum, January 26, 1885
Has Islam changed since the fall of Khartoum in 1885? Have the current-day British changed their naive stance on Islam since 1885? Has Islam changed for the better since its founding by Muhammad in 610 - that is, is it no longer a religion of bloodthirsty, violent, evil, rampaging Muslim fanatics out to kill anyone who is non-Muslim, but is suddenly today a religion of peace?

The answers are no, no and no. Under Islam everyone dies, "everyone" being non-Muslims. Therefore, the future under Islam is the same today as in the past - non-Muslims must convert to Islam or die.

Below is a link to the 1966 two hour film (in color) Khartoum starring Charlton Heston as General Charles "Chinese" Gordon and Lawrence Olivier as the Mahdi (Muhammad Ahmad). The film is based on historical accounts of Gordon's defense of the Sudanese city of Khartoum from the forces of the Mahdi's Islamic soldiers during the Siege of Khartoum.

Lest you think that the Mahdi was kindly (scene at the end of the movie) in not wanting Gordon to be killed, know that in real life the Mahdi ordered that Gordon's severed head be transfixed between the branches of a tree where all who passed it could look in disdain and
throw rocks at it. Gordon's body was desecrated and thrown down a well.

Believe the victim? No thanks. I'll believe the evidence.

I hope Brett Kavanaugh sues Christine Blasey Ford for every last penny she has.

Nabi Sayeth: Never, Never, Never Give Up!

Nabi sayeth…Many faithful Catholics are hurt, disillusioned and angered by the recent revelations of the corruption in the Church hierarchy, but the most dangerous consequence would be for the people to lapse into despair.

Yes, what has happened to you and your beloved Church is horrible...without question. But can you just give up?

What Do We Know About the Accuser's High School?

In recent days we’ve heard a lot about a woman named Christine Blasey Ford.  She has accused the nominee for the Supreme Court, Brett Kavanaugh of some very “unwelcome affection.”  She says she was brutally assaulted at a party the accused claims to have not even attended.  In fact he denies even knowing Ford.

Nabi Sayeth: Blind Trust and Unquestioning Obedience are NOT Virtues!

We are called to be as wise as serpents and as gentle as doves. Evil churchmen can only commit their crimes and sins because of naive and foolish sheep. When the flock accept all kinds of scandalous acts in silence, they become enablers of the evil. It’s time to challenge heresy, irreverence, scandalous liturgies, violation of rights (like attempting to force Communion in the hand), etc. The faithful have a right to the authentic Catholic faith. It’s time to demand it! Share Nabi’s posts with others. Every diocese in the country needs a prophetic voice. Pray that the Lord raises up many Nabis! When we all cry out together, things will begin to change!

Nabi sayeth...BEWARE….If it looks like a duck, quacks like a duck and swims like a duck, it may not be a duck….it may be a cover up! Those in the Church’s leadership who create cover ups need certain elements to be in place:

Are You the Cause of Turmoil? Why Not?

Most Catholics I know are very familiar with the expression, “Peace be with you.”  And most of us have the impression that we are to bring harmony to the experiences in our lives, in our families, in our careers, in our civic discourse.  We have given ourselves permission to be nice and not ruffle feathers.

Somehow we pass over the scripture text where Christ tells us living our faith and not just wearing the name badge may very well cause dissension in our own families and with our friends and acquaintances.  We are told to expect these conflicts and to prepare ourselves for them.

Matthew 10:34-36 says:

Nabi Sayeth: Lust for Power and Prestige Pollute the Church!

In this post, Nabi gives practical suggestions for how the laity can respond to the abuse of power exercised by the bishops. Money control is one way. Remember the “feed the pig” commercials about saving? Well, it’s time to STOP “feeding the pig” being passed in the pew. Alinsky bucks were developed for the scandalous Catholic Campaigh for Human Development collection, but I recommend using them all year long for special collections. As for parish contributions, there are ways to give that bypass the diocesan tax. Ask your pastor how if you’re in a good parish. If you’re in a BAD parish, don’t contribute to ANY collection. There are other ways to fulfill your financial obligation to support the Church than by supporting the rectory renovation.

Nabi sayeth: Catholic people are people of tradition and with a rich history. And even though some are quick to point out the behavior of certain clearly bad actors (Usually members of the hierarchy!), when one examines the sum total of Catholicism, one sees so much goodness.

Nabi Sayeth: Pew Sitters Rise Up!

To recoil before an enemy, or to keep silence when from all sides such clamors are raised against truth, is the part of a man either devoid of character or who entertains doubt as to the truth of what he professes to believe." -Pope Leo  XIII

Nabi is aware that many holy people in the pew are both confused and perplexed at what they have seen and heard about the sexually abusive clergymen. One 96 year old life-long Catholic woman asked, “How could they do what they do and then say Holy Mass?” Her question is being asked by many Catholics and non-Catholics alike.

From a psychiatric perspective, the following information may help:

Nabi Sayeth: “We have been deceived” beginning with the Dallas “Proclamation of Deception!”

Nabi is exposing the evil in the Diocese of Wheeling Charleston, but no matter what diocese you live in, with rare if any exceptions, the same thing is going on where you live! They say Nero fiddled while Rome burned. How many bishops like the one pictured above yuck it up while they aid and abet the lavender mafia?

Nabi Sayeth: Where Have All the Good Shepherds Gone?

Nabi’s Heart is heavy because of what Nabi knows about the machinations, maneuverings and misdeeds of those who clawed their way into positions of power in Holy Mother Church and who did so underneath the noses of the very trusting laity. Nabi often wonders what is going on in the head of a clergyman each time a particular reading is read at Holy Mass that describes the true role of the shepherd who is supposed to be a disciple of Our Lord, such as Mark 10: 45…

The Nabi Sayeth: Expose the Scandals!

Every priest described here should be named and removed! Sadly, what Nabi describes has been the M.O. of numerous U.S. bishops for decades. Hide and cover up for the perverts and let them go on destroying the people of God. These vultures need to go and, as Nabi says, the laity need to demand it. We’ve known the truth for years now. Fr. James Haley tried to do something about it 15 years ago in the Diocese of Arlington and was crucified by Bishop Loverde and his own lavender mafia. Demand the truth! Not just in West Virginia, but in every diocese in the country! Get the lavender/rainbow boys out of the sanctuary (and the schools, and the rectories, and the chancery, and the priesthood)!

Nabi has been asked by good and faithful Catholics, Jews and Protestants as well: Is there a coverup in West Virginia as we have heard about in PA and other places?

The Nabi Sayeth: It’s Time for Purging NOT Splurging!

Don’t miss the earlier posts by the Nabi posted earlier this week!

The Nabi sayeth…

One does not become an abuser of power without “inside” support. Have you ever wondered how the FORMER Bishop Bransfield managed to grab so much power, so quickly, especially since he came to West Virginia from the land of the Liberty Bell???
Nabi has seen such unfortunate power grabs, at the Vatican, in many dioceses, but especially in the diocese of,Wheeling-Charleston. One clergyman in particular helped make the FORMER bishop’s power grab possible. Who might this clergy person be??? HMMMMM

The Nabi Discusses Bishop Bransfield and his Lavish Lifestyle!

Maybe if we dye our feathers brown, nobody
will recognize us. But I'd sure miss being pretty
in pink and gay pride parades would be so drab!
Are you reading the series on the Diocese of Wheeling Charleston and Bishop Bransfield’s profligate spending? If so, you will find this post shockingly enlightening and a window into the greed and indulgence of the lavender mafia. Read part 1 here and part 2 here and pray for the Nabi. I assure you this prophet of God knows of what he/she speaks. The financial scandals of these selfish and evil men need to be investigated along with their abuse of children and young men.

Like McCarrick, Bransfield’s proclivities were well known. And along with investigating him, those he placed in positions of authority in the diocese should be investigated as well. As my mom always said, “Birds of a feather flock together.” The pink and lavender birds need to be caged and tagged

Listen Up, Bishops! The Nabi sayeth - Love of Money is the Root of All Evils

If you didn’t read the first post by the Nabi, go here. You won’t want to miss this series on the Diocese of Wheeling Charleston and Bishop Bransfield. Sadly, there are many like him among our bishops and it’s high time someone called them out like the prophets of old!

Wisdom from the Nabi....

Follow the Money in the Diocese of Wheeling!

Today, I’m introducing a special guest who will be sharing insider information about the Diocese of Wheeling. My guest chooses to call himself “Nabi” (the prophet) and I welcome his input and wisdom. The prophets of the Old Testament were bold in revealing the sins of Israel (especially those of her rulers and religious establishment) and calling for repentance. Nabi will be exposing Bishop Bransfield’s shameful administration of the diocese and financial mismanagement to fund his own lavish lifestyle. It is not surprising. Homosexual immorality and financial theft to fund the lifestyle commonly go together.

Lauren Southern's Documentary on the Genocide of White South African Farmers

"It's more dangerous to be a white farmer in South Africa than a US soldier on the front lines in Afghanistan or Iraq." The mainstream media refuses to report the genocide of South African white farmers. Why? It's worth the hour spent to watch Lauren Southern's documentary to decide for yourself.

The first 12 minutes of the film is the history of South Africa from 1650 to today for a basic understanding of the terrible current situation. See the results of communist/socialist, social justice, Marxist and leftist governance. Lauren does a superb job of reporting by showing both sides of the issue so take time out from the Church's current homosexual abuse crisis, Europe's current invasion by Islam and the left's hatred of President Trump to see the horror of life for white farmers in South Africa.

Have You Swallowed the Modernist Nonsense about the Bible?

Let's start with Adam and Eve. Have you swallowed the poisonous swill about them being a myth? This is a fundamental question. Did God lovingly create our first parents or did he generate them through non-human ancestors, i.e. are we closer to the Planet of the Apes than the city of God?

Think about His great love in providing a spotless home for Baby Jesus in the womb of Mary. Think of Him sending angels to announce the birth. Think of Him inspiring the scientists from the East to come bearing gifts and giving them a sign in the heavens to guide them.

Can you really imagine that same God starting his human family in the womb of a monkey?

That sure isn't a picture of the God I know. Check out the article below and recall that science continually confirms biblical events. DNA evidence now shows we all share genetics from one man and one woman. Science gets a little fuzzy after that about the timeline and location. But the DNA confirms our relationships with each other. We're all brothers and sisters.  So let's act like it, and I don't mean like Cain and Able, Jacob and Esau, and Joseph and his brothers! We can do better than that if we keep our eyes fixed on Jesus!

BREAKING NEWS: BIshop Bransfield Out Amid Sex Abuse Accusations!

I received this e-mail at 7:04 this morning: "Miss Bransfield removed today less than five days after reaching 75! Archbishop Lori now in charge. The Archbishop also investigating sexual harrasment of adults ( Males?) by the former Bishop. Your article  on him (follow-up here) was divinely inspired!!"

"Archbishop Lori will meet with clergy and lay leaders of the Diocese Thursday and Friday. He will celebrate Mass in Wheeling on Saturday at the Cathedral of St. Joseph." (Source)

The Crisis is Much Bigger than the Sex Abuse and Cover Up! It's a Crisis of Fatherhood!

The sex abuse crisis in the Church has focused the spotlight on the evil of what is primarily the homosexual infiltration of the priesthood. Of course there are priests who violate chastity with women, but the overwhelming problem, as evidence continually shows, is ordination of same-sex attracted men, not pedophiles who prey on very young children, but ephebophiles who prey on adolescent boys and young male adults.

But there's more to the crisis than that and an article at First Things by a good priest in our diocese, Fr. Jerry Pokorsky, targeted it. The crisis in the Church is one of the failure of fatherhood. Father writes:

Cupich Holding a Meeting with his Priests Tonight.

BREAKING: Cardinal Cupich Invites All Chicago Area Priests to an "Open Discussion" This Evening at Mundelein Seminary (Must Have Printed Invitation to Enter)

What do you think? Will Cupich use this as an opportunity to identify the good priests he wants to deep six? Cupich has already shown what he's capable of by his persecution of Fr. Phillips and his promotion of all things "gay," like his shilling for homosexual propagandist James Martin.  He is as trustworthy as a snake. Let's pray there is a mongoose or two among his priests who are interested in protecting children! Cupich should go the same way as his buddies McCarrick and Wuerl who looks to be on the way out the door, please God! Farrell and Tobin next!

Is Pope Francis Really a Pope of the Poor?

The old Biblical adage, "Love of money is the root of all evils." appears to be operating at the Vatican. Why on earth would the pope want to give $25 million to a dermatology hospital, of all places, especially one riddled with corruption? There's something going on here; wouldn't it be interesting to know exactly what? Here's a bit from the article:
A charity is deeply divided over a request from Pope Francis to give a large donation to a scandal-hit hospital.

LifeSiteNews claims to have obtained internal documents from the US-based Papal Foundation showing that last year Pope Francis personally requested, and obtained in part, a $25 million grant for a Church-owned dermatological hospital in Rome.

Will Pope Francis Accept Wuerl's Resignation (FINALLY)? Let's hope so!

Cardinal Wuerl sent a letter to his priests today talking about "discernment" and saying he's going to Rome to discuss the letter of resignation he presented to the pope three years ago. You can read the letter here. Let's pray this means Wuerl is about to leave the stage and go into retirement -- hopefully far, far away!

Reflections on 9/11 about the "Religion of Peace" ...which isn't!

From the Desk of Richard Thompson, President and CEO of the Thomas More Law Center
Today is the seventeenth anniversary of the September 11, 2001, Muslim terrorist attacks on the New York World Trade Center Towers, the Pentagon and Flight 93, which resulted in the death of almost 3,000 innocent Americans. We also remember the first responders who so selflessly and with no hesitation, answered the call to rescue those who were trapped, many of whom lost their own lives in the collapsing towers....
See the interactive timeline here.

Is this a scene from Mars Attacks? No, it's the refugees of 9/11 fleeing the city.

The Pope's Answer is the Sound of Silence

The Pope embraces SILENCE as his response to the sodomite scandal.

List of Bishops Callling for Investigations and Action: It's Growing by the Day!

Time for a serious investigation and a cleansing in the Church starting with McCarrick's
pew mates Joseph Tobin and Blase Cupich, and of course Donald Wuerl wherever he is!
I'm not sure who put together this list, but it's growing by the day. And who is NOT on it is as interesting as who IS. Many bishops are calling for an investigation and are praising the integrity of Archbishop Vigano. Although, frankly, just coming out with a statement supporting an investigation is no proof of orthodoxy and fidelity. For example, Bishop Soto has been a cover-up agent in the Sacramento Diocese as well as giving aid and comfort to pro-abortion politicians. On the other hand he told a "gay" conference in 2008 that homosexual relations are sinful. Some participants walked out. Bishop Konderla is another puzzle. After taking over in Tulsa he threw out the  Daughters of Mary, Mother of Israel’s Hope, a traditional order of nuns. Intolerance for the traditional liturgy in consecrated life is hard to understand. At the same time, Konderla has been a strong advocate for babies in the womb. Sometimes it's hard to sort out the players. Orthodoxy is the great test. Cafeteria bishops have a credibility problem. Anyway, I pass this on. Some of these statements are powerful. Bishop Morlino, Bishop Paprocki, Bishop Olmstead, and Bishop Vasa are among my favorite bishops and, of course, the great Bishop Schneider -- but sadly he is not one of our U.S. bishops. Let's pray one day he'll be ours because we call him Il Papa!

Out of the Shadows and Into the Light: Time to Call Out the Bad Bishops!

A few days ago I posted about Bishop Bransfield along with this same photographic moment taken from another angle. This one is much more interesting! Check out the man in the shadows where he has now gone permanently in disgrace, thank God. Yes, indeed, the kingmakers were there for Bransfield's first meeting with the Pope Francis in 2016 with rings on their fingers and bells on their toes and huge lavender mafia smiles.

The Unhappy Truth of the "Gay" Life

My cousin Tommy died of AIDS in about 1985.  I can’t remember the year exactly. I was nowhere near him at the time and I did not see him at the end of his life.  My relatives who did say he was unrecognizable, very thin, pale, almost ghostlike.  He was about 36 years old.

Homosexuality: Behind the Cottage Door

The unbelievably happy home of two homosexuals
* Homosexual Heaven
is Really Hell

No teaching of the Magisterium of the Catholic Church is clearer, more pastoral or more logical than that on homosexuality, as presented in the Catechism of the Catholic Church (1997, 2nd Edition). The Catechism makes a firm distinction between homosexual acts and the homosexually oriented persons themselves. It proclaims the eternal truths of Scripture in condemning all such
actions, as follows:
  • Homosexual acts are acts of grave depravity.
  • Homosexual acts are objectively disordered.
  • Homosexual acts are contrary to the natural law because they close the sexual act to the gift of life and do not proceed from a genuine effective and sexual complementarity.
  • Under no circumstances can homosexual acts be approved.

Bishop Bransfield and the Strategy of Silence: Nothing to see here, folks, move along!

Good job, Mike. Focus on the silence strategy.
And use your influence to shut up  all those
loud-mouthed bishops calling for investigations.
Get your lawyer on it. He knows how to do it!
My husband is from Wheeling so what happens in the Diocese of Wheeling Charleston always catches my eye. After 48 years of marriage and countless visits to Warwood, the suburb that nurtured my husband and his faith, the area holds a special place in my heart. I can't count the number of Masses, marriages, baptisms, etc. we attended at Corpus Christi. If I close my eyes I can walk up the aisle to "our spot" in the nave and watch the priest come out of the sacristy for daily Mass. I walk out the back of the church and see the park across the street and the "new" church hall on the corner where we attended many festivities and parish events. Down the street I can see the old men's home where Larry's dad spent the last years of his life.

What happens to the Church family in Wheeling, which includes many of Larry's family, my dear in-laws, matters a lot to me. So I was interested to read the email I received below about a meeting in Wheeling held a few days ago to discuss the abuse crisis with concerned laity.

Riding the Rail

We had the pleasure of going to Alaska recently on a cruise with a group of about 150 people who are supporters of the Media Research Center, headed by Brent Bozell.  There was a list of “celebrity guests” along to speak daily in panel discussions and one on one interview with Brent about things that concern conservative Republicans in today’s world.

Civics 101: Sen. Ben Sasse (R-NE) at the Kavanaugh Hearings! Wow! I love this guy!

Ben Sasse for president!

Archbishop Gomez and Bishop Barron, Where is Fr. Gavancho?

The persecution of good priests continues. No surprise that this story comes from the Archdiocese of Los Angeles, a bastion of liberalism that was long headed by Cardinal Roger Mahony. It seems Mahony's legacy of persecuting good priests outlives him under Archbishop Jose Gomez and his auxiliary, Bishop Robert Barron. So here goes....

Two Sundays ago Fr. Juan Carlos Gavancho delivered a homily to the people of Our Lady of Sorrows in downtown Santa Barbara, CA addressing the sex abuse crisis and the Vigano letter. It was a heartfelt and pastoral homily which you can listen to yourself.

Fr. Benedict Groeschel's Order Calls for the Pope to Act

The Franciscan Friars of the Renewal, the religious order of dearly beloved friar, Benedict Groeschel, released a letter yesterday to Apostolic Nuncio Christophe Pierre, calling on Pope Francis to institute an investigation into all the charges by Archbishop Vigano -- to either prove or disprove them. They also reiterated the need of bishops to ban from the seminary those with deep-seated homosexual tendencies or those who live or actively promote the gay lifestyle. Amen to that!

Five More Reasons Why Homosexuals MUST NOT BE ORDAINED: Fr. Berrio, Fr. Giraldo-Cortez, Fr. Vilchez-Parra, Fr. Danyluk, and Fr. DeLand!!

Chicago Priests Arrested For Performing Oral Sex in Car in Broad Daylight

Read those two articles. We're not talking forty or fifty years ago now. We're talking last Monday when Fr. Diego Berrio and Fr. Edwin Cortez were diddling each other in a car in broad daylight in a busy area.

Do you really think these Chicago pervert priest "chicken hawks" don't use child porn and prowl for fresh "chickens" when they can? And then there's the third Chicago priest arrested in 2015 for possession of child pornography.

Bishops Like This Explain the Mess We're In! For Shame, Bishop Cunningham and Bishop Carlson!

Is this how Bishop Cunningham sees
7-year-old boys?
NY Bishop Rape Shames Abuse Victims: Boys Are ‘Culpable’ For Their Actions At 7 Years Old

Bishop Robert Cunningham is pathetic.

I have several seven-year-old grandchildren or close to that age. They are innocent, trusting, and good. Oh...they're typical kids who sometimes disobey, lie, and talk back or leave messes wherever they go, but they have clean eyes -- unlike some of our bishops.

No one has introduced them into downright evil. No one has groomed them for pederasty. A bishop who can make a statement like this is truly a man with a sick mind.

Why Did Benedict XVI Resign?

McCarrick, Vigano and the Vatican Bank Scandals Explained in Detail

McCain's Way

Senator John McCain winner of the award for most elaborate
self adulating  funeral in American history
We have become a nation of spoiled brats, in a secular world fixed on self, demanding increasingly refined options in all things from cola to laundry detergent, sexual behavior and gender preference.  People are never satisfied.  Always wanting something other, an option more to their liking.
There is a lot of comfort in knowing there is one way to live your life, in knowing you don't have to be the one to decide what that way will be. That's been done for us by the Church and the path is spelled out in its many doctrines and in the traditions we exercise throughout the day, the week, and the seasons all year long.

Please Don't Go; We Need You! A Message to Those Thinking about Suicide

Brendan our baby lover! Christmas 2017
Today marks four months since Brendan, our 18-year-old grandson, killed himself.

Four months!

How often I held that precious boy when he was four months old, rocking and feeding him his bottle while his mom worked. I used to put him down for his nap and sing to him while I ran my fingers lightly over his eyelids.

There were no tears then, thinking about him, just smiles. How I loved cuddling and singing and rocking and playing little games -- reaching out to touch his velvet skin, to pick him up out of the crib, to put him on my knee and "ride away to Boston to buy a penny cake."

Catholic Women's Forum has penned a letter to the pope asking for answers following the release of the Archbishop Vigano report. I've signed the letter and I urge all faithful Catholic moms, grandmoms, working women, consecrated religious, etc. to sign it as well.

His Holiness, Pope Francis
Vatican City
Your Holiness:

You have said that you seek “a more incisive female presence in the Church,” and that “women are capable of seeing things with a different angle from [men], with a different eye. Women are able to pose questions that we men are not able to understand.”

We write to you, Holy Father, to pose questions that need answers.

We are Catholic women deeply committed to our faith and profoundly grateful for Church teachings, the Sacraments, and the many good bishops and priests who have blessed our lives.

Our hearts are broken, our faith tested, by the escalating crisis engulfing our beloved Church. We are angry, betrayed and disillusioned. The pain and suffering of the victims never ends, as each news cycle brings more horrific revelations of sexual abuse, sexual misconduct, cover-ups, and deceit—even at the Church’s highest levels.  [Read more....]

Archbishop Charles Chaput of Philadelphia,
a bishop with some common sense!
Archbishop Chaput of Philadelphia has called for cancellation of the Youth Synod scheduled for October. Thank God for a voice of reason! At a recent conference he said, “I have written the Holy Father and called on him to cancel the upcoming synod on young people. Right now, the bishops would have absolutely no credibility in addressing this topic!"

What an understatement! Not only that, but it's become clearer and clearer that the agenda for these events is to undermine Church's teaching on a whole panoply of issues. Journalist Edward Pentin who reported on the two synods on the family in 2014-2015 pointed that out at the alternative meeting in Dublin last week during the World Meeting on the Family. (What sad times we live in when orthodox Catholics have to stage alternative meetings to address the dissent and error of the "official" events.) Here's part of what he said in his talk:
