Del Campbell –
I am deeply disturbed by the fact that a number of state schools are requiring people to be “vaccinated” in order to attend classes. The fact that all the COVID-19 mRNA gene-altering “vaccines” are
not actually approved by the FDA, but only permitted for emergency
experimental use, makes the mandate that teachers and students be
“vaccinated” a clear violation of the Nuremberg Code.

This morning I read this from The Imitation of Christ which reminded me of St. Ignatius' discussion of consolation and desolation. All of us experience both.

But of course I'm telling the truth. - Snow White
Once upon a time there was a young wommon named Snow White who was not at all unfortunate looking, but who lately seems to have eaten far too much food which therefore makes her more of a mean-spirited femme fatale than she already was several years ago when she was nubile and first encountered Priest Charming.

This post at the Sarmaticus blog should thrill the hearts of all lovers of truth.
The post is long and includes a 50 minute video about a Lancaster group fighting the good fight. (I only watched a bit of it since my focus was on the establishment of an alternative source for higher education.) What an exciting era in which to live! The post is long but well worth reading. It's way past time for colleges and universities, especially so called "prestigious" institutions, to experience some healthy competition.

All of us wear different hats. I have quite a few: mom, grandma, pro-life activist, blogger, pet sitter, pool cleaner, home nurse, and the one my mother always described as "chief cook and bottle washer."
This Spring I've been wearing my gardener hat and my home contractor hat quite a bit, because we've been engaged in all kinds of projects here at Camp Kreitzer. If you'd like to check out my "other life" (I really do things besides blogging.), you can visit The View from Camp Kreitzer. We have lots of projects going on at present including watching nature pass through our yard, like this mama doe and her baby who visited while we were praying our rosary on the front porch. "Praise God from whom all blessings flow!" And if you're curious about the boxes in the background, those are our bee hives, because I also wear a bee hat and veil. What hats do you wear?

Facebook would not let me post the article below. We'll see if it shows up on the blog. The tyrants really want you to take the jab even if it kills you! Why do you suppose that is? And FB put me in jail for three days for violating community standards, but didn't tell me what I'm guilty of or what standards I violated. Talk about tyranny and living in a Kafka novel where you can't find out what you did, but you are sent to the gulag. This warning applies to me:

This week, at their semi-annual meeting, the bishops of the United States will discuss “Eucharistic coherence,” the issue of how they should react to public figures (Biden, Pelosi and so many others) who promote public policies – in the form of orders, laws, regulations, treaties, budgets, etc.-- contrary to fundamental moral teachings (plural) of the Catholic Church.Their discussion will occur over the objections (“concerns”) expressed in letters dated May 7 from Cardinal Luis Ladaria, prefect of the Vatican's Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith, and May 13 by 68 U.S. bishops, to Archbishop José Gomez of Los Angeles, president of the U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops (USCCB).

Fathers, love your children!
That, in itself, was unusual, and I later returned the favor. His articles at The Catholic Thing are always informative and wise. So if you want a mentor to give you some good advice in Catholic living, check him out. Here's the advice portion of his article, Dare to Be Irrelevant:
• Men, be faithful to your wives in marriage. Be kind and considerate. If you are involved with porn, give it up. Just do it.
• Ladies, this is from the Book of Proverbs: “It is better to sit in a corner of the housetop than with a quarrelsome wife and an unruly household.” (Prov. 25:24)
Mr Tony Maione of Orlando,
but Fr Tony Maione of Albany, RIP
Then 10 days ago a person named Frank Rossi from Saratoga Springs, NY, commented on a two-year-old post I did on Mr/Fr Tony Maione. We're not sure why people are suddenly commenting on old posts. Perhaps they have nothing else to do during Covid lockdowns but peruse the Internet 24/7.
HERE is my 2019 article "Albany's Bishop Hubbard and the deal with the Orlando chancery".
HERE is Archbishop Wenski's (at the time he was Bishop of Orlando) 2006 homily at the memorial mass for Tony where he never mentioned that Tony was a priest in Bishop Hubbard's Albany Diocese.

How much I love Pope Pius XII. He was pope on the day of my birth and I clearly remember his death in 1958 when I was eleven. I may still have the newspaper clipping I saved at the time somewhere in my piles of papers. He had a great devotion to the Sacred Heart and how much he must have suffered walking in the steps of the Savior during World War II, particularly during the assault on Rome and the Nazi occupation. How hard he fought to protect the Roman Jews and those under Nazi domination from persecution and genocide!

with his book of poetry
Muhammad - 570-632
(with apologies to Elizabeth Barrett Browning)
How do I hate thee? Let me count the ways.
My vile soul can reach, infinitely out of sight,
For the ends of death of infidels to pleasurably erase.
I hate thee to the level of every day's
Most innate need, by sword and lies and might.
I hate thee freely, as men fight for evil's rights.
I hate thee purely, as they turn to grandiose praise.
I hate thee with the passion put to use
In my old griefs in my childhood's Islamic faith.
I hate thee with a hate that seems more infused
With each glorious honor killing. I hate thee with the breath,
Butchery and slaughter of all my life; and, if Allah choose,
I shall but hate thee better after death.

I think it was St. Robert Bellarmine who said priests should preach on the four last things at least once a month. Pondering on death and judgment, heaven or hell, has a way of focusing the mind. What’s really important in this life after all? It’s to live in a way that leads us to our God-ordained destiny. As the old Baltimore Catechism put it. “God made us to know Him, love Him, and serve Him in this world so we can be happy with Him in the next.” The big question is, “How am I doing, Lord?” The answer points to our final destination.

Picture of Muhammad's Night Journey
I don't believe anything Muhammad said, especially his silly Night Journey (Isra) and his Seven Heavens (Mi'raj). I'm merely demonstrating that a person who believes such nonsense needs to ask themselves if they truly accept as a foundational belief of their religion that a "heavenly rooster with rubies and pearls on its wings" crows in one of the Seven Heavens to wake up God every morning or that "certain men and faeries" can't hear the rooster crow so when he stops crowing they won't be upset because they couldn't hear him anyway. That story is in one of the Seven Heavens (which I will eventually tell you) but Muhammad's Night Journey is equally filled with such foolish nonsense.
