Feast of the Divine Motherhood of Mary, January 1

From the Marian antiphon of the Christmas season, Alma Redemptoris Mater, we pray these words: "You, in the wonder of all creation, have brought forth your Creator, Mother ever virgin."

Guest Post by Fr. Tom Collins -- Mary as Co-Redemptix, Part I: The Covenant

Mary, Mother of the Savior, Pray for Us.
Editor's Note: Read the premises and foundation for Mary's title as Co-Redemptrix here.

Mary and the Incarnate Lord Jesus are so closely united it's hard to think of one without the other. Jesus dwelt in Mary's body for nine months. Her "fiat" is what began the central chapter in salvation history and the opening of the doors to heaven. Those who believe devotion to Mary insults or lessens Jesus' as Savior of the World, fail to understand the profound humility of Mary and God's desire for us to be little, humble souls.

When we come to Jesus through Mary we imitate Jesus Who came to save the world through Mary. God used a woman to send his Son to earth. What is surprising about using that same woman to bring us to her Son's cross holding us close while we are washed in the Blood of the Lamb before going to the Father. Mary "magnifies the Lord." Why would we not want to imitate her?

Catholics Under Attack

A news story that may not have caught your attention amid the government shutdown and the lunatic climbing the national Christmas tree reveals another subtle attempt to eliminate Catholicism and its followers from public life.  The link here reveals that a judge from Nebraska is being severely scrutinized by Democrats on the Senate Judiciary Committee who question his membership in an (HOLD YOUR BREATH!!) all male organization associated with the (LIONS AND TIGERS AND BEARS) Roman Catholic Church.  This link is to a Democrat page that outlines exactly why he should be opposed.  Clearly, it is because he is Catholic, though they don't mention religion specifically.

Muhammad the Paraclete with a Mole on His Back

Muhammad
(the mole on his back not
visible from this angle)
"Jesus, the Son of Mary, said, 'O Children of Israel, indeed I am the Messenger of Allah to you confirming what came before me of the Torah and bringing good tidings of a messenger to come after me, whose name shall be Muhammad." - Quran 61:6

But I tell you the truth: it is expedient for you that I go: for if I go not, the Paraclete will not come to you: but if I go, I will send him to you. - John 16:7

However, by "Paraclete" or "Comforter", Moslems here mean Muhammad and say that the very name of Muhammad, both here and in five additional places in the Bible, was expressly mentioned but that Christians, out of malice, blotted out Muhammad's name thereby corrupting the Bible.

Happy Feast of the Holy Family!

Baltimore Catechism
Lesson 5: 48-49, p 31

48. What is man?
Man is a creature composed of body and soul, and made in the image and likeness of God.

49. Is this likeness to God in the body or in the soul?
This likeness to God is chiefly in the soul [spirit-mind-will]. The likeness to the Blessed Trinity is found chiefly in man's soul, but there is a resemblance in the body too - not however in the body of one man alone, but in man and woman united in marriage and the child which is the normal fruit of the marriage.

Comments:
Therefore, since only Man-Woman-Child (in marriage) is the image and likeness of God in man's body, homosexuality - man/man or woman/woman - is a mortal sin and will never be recognized by God as being 1) a marriage, 2) a family, 3) good or 4) holy.

THE FAMILY is a reflection of the image and likeness of God as the earthly trinity.

THE HOLY FAMILY is the epitome of the earthly trinity.

Guest Post by Fr. Tom Collins On Mary as "Co-Redemptrix": Premises and Foundation

Editor's note: With Mary's big feast day coming in a few days I thought Fr. Tom's article on Mary as Co-Redemptrix was timely. Today I'm publishing a pre-article which gives the foundation for her title. Each of Father's points is well worth meditating on, "pondering in our hearts." Drawing close to Mary is key to drawing closer to Jesus. He was as close to her as a person could be. Doesn't it make sense that He wants us to draw closer to Him through her? The demons hate Mary because of her humility. When we come to Jesus through Mary we exhibit a humility that shines like the star of Bethlehem. I'll be pondering all these points over the next few days. I hope you'll join me. Our Lady, Mother of the Savior and Mother of Sorrows, pray for us.

Shepherds: The First Believers

No scene of the Nativity of our Lord would be complete without at least one shepherd and a few sheep, mostly lambs.  What makes this man of low estate and his wooly charges so important to the story that no matter what else is included, the shepherd is never omitted?

First, what do we know about shepherds?  I don’t pretend to be an expert in sheep rearing by any stretch of the imagination, but I have in fact known a shepherd.  Well, not a real “shepherd” shepherd, but a gentleman farmer who owned sheep and took care of them on his estate.  This property was in Northern Ireland and was actually on a small island in the western side of Strangford Lough, uninhabited by predator animals such as those that threaten sheep in other places.  This “shepherd” entertained a group of friends, which included several of us Americans, with his stories of sheep as we traveled together to a convention for daffodil growers.  (Another story for another day)

The Immaculate Conception at the Annunciation

Dear Pope Francis,

Our Blessed Mother, THE MOST HOLY VIRGIN MARY, IS THE IMMACULATE CONCEPTION, therefore, contrary to what you said on December 21, 2018, she WAS born a saint because she was conceived without original sin. As a reminder of that doctrine, here's a picture of her - the Ever Virgin Mary, the Immaculate Conception - at the Annunciation of Our Lord, painted by Lorenzo Veneziano in 1357. Full picture HERE.

The Key to Heaven

He is born!  Rejoice!  Sing choirs of angels!  Celebrate today!  As a parent and a grandparent, I understand very well the joy and excitement felt by the parents, and the family at large, when a new little one enters the world.

Miracles Still Happen! Here's one for Christmas...

This was posted last month, but is perfect for the Christmas season when we think about babies and how precious they are! This little one's rescue has all the earmarks of guardian angels surrounding him and his rescuer! Praised be to God! This will definitely be a Merry Christmas for one New Zealand family. Let's all thank God for the miracles in our lives. Every day is filled with them if we just have eyes to see.

Ditto Ed Peters' Remarks: "God Bless Fr. LaCuesta!"

Despite having cancer at 39, caring for both my parents on their deathbeds, sitting beside my father-in-law at the moment of his death and dealing with serious situations with my children, I never really knew the depth of suffering until my grandson committed suicide on May 2nd.

The pain and grief defy description, so my heart goes out to the Hullibarger family who are grieving over Maison's suicide. But the media attack on their pastor, Fr. Don LaCuesta, for his funeral homily beginning with Fr. James Martin's ignorant tirade is a disgrace. And I'm disappointed in the Archbishop's decision to punish this priest instead of standing by him. It reminds me of Cardinal Wuerl punishing Fr. Marcel Guarnizo for refusing Communion to a lesbian Buddhist at her mom's funeral.

Sunday Meditation: Bishop Sheen Explains It All for You!

What role do reason and will play in your life? Is your life governed by your reason and will? Or are you governed by your feelings and the drama of your own narcissistic "subconscious?" Do you live in the real world or in a world of dreams?

Red Rose Rescues Save Babies! Support This Activity with Your Prayers and Sacrifices...

...and, if God calls you,...be a participant who offers women love and support in the name of the Lord of Life Who came that all might live life to the full!

Red Rose Rescue in D.C. on December 20th

In an earlier rescue, December 2, 2017 a group in Michigan went into an abortion mill to offer love and help to the women there. Later court hearings, by the testimony of abortion staff, showed that they saved 12 babies that day by the grace of God and their sacrifice. Several ended up in jail for weeks and months. Here's the report with the evidence that twelve babies (and their moms) were saved from abortion by their willingness to put their bodies on the line:

Homosexuality is Disordered and Can Lead to Depraved and Demonic Behavior...

...as this story about Boise Catholic priest, Father W. Thomas Faucher, illustrates.

Boise priest who lived in ‘world of Satanism and pornography’ sentenced to 25 years in prison

This is exactly why NO man with homosexual inclinations should EVER be allowed to enter the seminary and be ordained...whether he's acted on it or not! It puts these men in a continual occasion of sin. They have frequent contact with altar boys, young teens in the parish youth group, fellow priests and seminarians. It is just asking for trouble and guaranteed to bring it on with many of them as the clergy sex abuse crisis shows. It's time to stop the insanity and make it clear that ONLY men who would make good husbands and fathers should be ordained to the priesthood.

Muslims Fear Thought More Than They Love Death

Islam's Angel of Peace
Should the ghost of Bertrand Russell appear today, he would admit that his views on the negative aspects of education in general apply to Islam in particular. In the post below Bertrand Russell's words are in black; my added comments appear in red.

Bertrand Russell said that thought is subversive and revolutionary, destructive and terrible; thought is merciless to privilege, established institutions, and comfortable habits; thought is anarchic and lawless, indifferent to authority, careless of a well-tried wisdom of the ages. Thought looks into the pit of hell and is not afraid. Thought is great and swift and free, the light of the world, and the chief glory of man.

Give me a Warrior Angel, Not a New Age Wimp!

Angel with the Flaming Sword by Edwin Blashfield (1893)
I'm very fond of angels, especially my personal guardian angel. But, please, I want a real guardian not a wimpy angel like the ones portrayed by new agers who like girly imitations. They love a nicy-nice vision of a Pillsbury Doughboy God surrounded by wraith-like dancing angels more fit for Islam's "heaven" than for the real thing. They finger their crystals and listen to new age music from lotus positions dreaming of a heaven where all are welcome, unrepentant sins and all, where they can continue to mock God for all eternity. Silly angels and a marshmallow God! What an insult to truth! And what a shocking revelation they're in for on Judgment Day! Pray for them!

Give me a strong, young, masculine angel any day -- one with a big flaming sword!

Guest Post: Have a Blue Christmas, A Mr. Blue Christmas, That is!

as published in American Spectator, www.spectator.org, Dec. 19, 2018

by James M. Thunder

I could not let this year go by without remarking that 2018 marks the 90th anniversary of the publication of a short novel, about 120 pages, that a young man published in 1928, and has seldom been out of print since: Myles Connolly’s debut novel, Mr. Blue. It is appropriate to do so at Christmas because, first, the protagonist, J. Blue, was in awe of the Incarnation and, secondly, because Connolly was an adviser to film director Frank Capra for what has become a Christmas-time favorite, the 1946 It’s a Wonderful Life.

It is said that many high schools and colleges, presumably Catholic, made Mr. Blue required reading at one time. It was not required in my Catholic high school in the late1960’s. Maybe it wasn’t necessary. It was one of two books that I recall my classmates made so much buzz about that I read them to keep up with what my peers were reading. (The other was James Michener’s Bridge at Andau (1957) about the Hungarian anti-Communist uprising.)

Satan Demands that All Souls Bow to Him. Those Who Won't Must Be Destroyed!

I received the following email today from the Alliance Defending Freedom, the law firm representing Colorado cake artist, Jack Phillips. Despite winning his case at the Supreme Court for refusing an order for a same sex wedding cake on religious grounds, the intolerant (dare I say satanic) homo/trans juggernaut is determined to destroy him.

The Mark of the Beast - Are We Seeing Revelation's Prophecies Revealed in Our Time?

The woman and the dragon from
Revelation by William Blake
I was talking with a friend yesterday about the "mark of the beast" in the Book of Revelation. Many Catholics never read the book because it's difficult and its symbolism is obscure, but they would be familiar with it. Certainly they would recognize this passage which pretty much sums up the condition of many in the pews today:
I know your deeds; I know you are neither hot nor cold. How I wish you were one or the other -- hot or cold! But because you are lukewarm neither hot nor cold, I will spew out of my mouth. (Rev. 3:15-17)
They would also recognize the passage telling the story of "the woman about to give birth" and the dragon whose tail sweeps a third of the stars from the sky and plans to devour her child when he's born. We hear it on the Feast of the Assumption.

John wrote the Book of Revelation to give hope to the persecuted Christians of his time facing murderous Roman despots like Nero and Domitian:

Look for Miracles this Holiday Season. Remember, the word comes "holiday" comes from Holy Day!

Christmas is the season of miracles. But what makes a miracle? Fr. John Hardon used to say that the most important miracles weren't those of healing, but those of the heart. Think of the change in someone, a hardened sinner, who in a moment of light is instantly converted. Think of the prisoner St. Therese of Liseaux was praying for who embraced the crucifix held by a priest as he mounted the scaffold of his execution. Think of the abortionist, Bernard Nathanson, co-founder of the murder-monster NARAL, who became a champion of life and Abby Johnson who, as the youngest Planned Parenthood director in the country, walked away never to return after seeing the little victim on a sonogram. Miracles are everywhere if we open our eyes to see them. What miracles are happening in your life this Advent and Christmas?

Nabi Sayeth: The Chickens Have Come Home to Roost!

Nabi Sayeth: There is an old saying, “The chickens are coming home to roost.”

The idea goes back to Chaucer, though he expressed it rather differently in The Parson’s Tale, around 1390, writing that curses are like “a bird that returns again to his own nest”.

Nabi Sayeth: What Do You See When You Look at the Holy Babe?

Nabi Sayeth:  The Feast of Christmas can be a most humbling feast, especially when one takes the time to truly “look” inside the manger.

My heart is saddened as I wonder if those who committed acts of sexual abuse or covered up for those who did ever truly looked at the face of the Baby in the manger? With the many Christmas masses said by the McCarricks, the Bransfields, the Wuerls and others through the years….did they ever truly look inside the manger and ponder the face of the Baby?

What would they have seen had they looked, really looked, and paused and took the time to reflect? If they had, would they not have seen…

Barnes and Noble - Leftist Books for Brainwashing Kids Ages 4-8

Barnes and Noble has discovered the old maxim, "Give us a child 'til he's 7 and we'll have him for life"....because kids ages 4 and 5 want to protest, carry signs, "assemble, take action, and create allies", isn't that right?

For
instance, at age 6, instead of playing Kick the Can, all hot, sweaty and thirsty, didn't we neighborhood kids honestly yearn to make banners, RESIST and BOYCOTT while raising up our fists in the Communist salute? Instead of being wild and free didn't we truly desire to campaign or camp out on Orange Avenue in Downtown Orlando, occupying the front of the old Rialto Theater because the price of admission had been raised from a quarter to 40 cents? We knew it was our right to demonstrate and if we didn't get what we wanted we knew to FILE A LAWSUIT, to organize, persist, STRIKE and MARCH. Dissent! All of us neighborhood ragamuffins longed to become activists instead of teachers, doctors or lawyers. We wanted to be radical feminists instead of wives and mothers. We wanted to change to world...back to Communism and Socialism, poverty, disease and starvation. Didn't we?

Indoctrination no
longer starts in college. Today it starts when a child is four years old, so since we should be activists, let's BOYCOTT BARNES AND NOBLE.

Prager University - Reading with Will

Nabi Sayeth: Gaudete Sunday is Upon Us. Will We Listen to John's Prescription for Salvation?

If we listen and heed St. John the Baptist, we truly will be able to rejoice despite
the desert our bishops have made of the Church in the United States!

Nabi Sayeth: The third Sunday of Advent in our beloved Catholic Church is known traditionally as “Gaudete Sunday”, the Sunday of rejoicing. The mood of the holy mass shifts from one of open-ended hope to a sense of joyful expectation. The prayers and readings at the holy mass invite us to become excited about the nearness of Our Savior’s birth.

French Revolution 2.0

Remember when Paris was the romantic dream destinationBut at least just when we thought it was too late for France, we're given hope because finally the French people have had it with Macron and the globalists. They're tired of living on the edge with nothing while hordes of Islamic young men migrate by the millions and get a free ride. This is our future also should President Trump not win in 2020. It would have been what we'd be doing right now if Hillary had won.

Fr. Tom Collins and the Conspiracy to Destroy our Republic

As the collusion of Deep State conspirators to destroy Trump and our Republic continues, I cannot help but wonder whether Trump may have remembered an important historical fact – specifically, the genius of the German General von Manstein in the Battle of Kharkov. Just when the Russian General Zhokov thought he was on the verge of crushing the German army, von Manstein executed a brilliant outflanking maneuver, which both destroyed a large portion of the Russian army and regained a lot of lost territory.

When you feel discouraged, read the saints!

I'm reading the Autobiography of  St. Anthony Mary Claret. What an incredible priest!

Who needs the "new evangelization" when we had great saints like this giving us a sound prescription for an effective evangelization based on tried and true methods!

We need to get back to the "old" evangelization!

St. Anthony was born about two hundred years ago. Nabi's posts make me think of him because of his call for virtue in the clergy! That, without doubt,  is the beginning of an effective evangelization.

Here's what St. Anthony said about the sinful culture of his own day:
The sole reason why society is perishing is because it has refused to hear the word of the Church, which is the word of life, the word of God. All plans for salvation will be sterile if the great word of the Catholic Church is not restored in all its fullness.

Multicultural Insanity - The "Rape Anthem" vs Cardi B

The seasonal secular song Baby, It's Cold Outside, dubbed the Rape Anthem, can no longer be heard - Muslims and radical feminists are complaining - but not all is lost since Cardi B with her "gansta rap lyrics filled with violent rape imagery and open and unapologetic misogyny" is still OK.

To the rescue comes The Holderness Family saving the day by rewriting the Rape Anthem's lyrics thereby making it acceptable to multiculturalists everywhere. How could they possibly complain about this version?

Nabi Sayeth: Root of the Abuse Crisis is the Gay Clergy "Lobby"

Nabi Sayeth: The most important issue facing the Catholic Church in the United States is the sexual abuse scandal. Tragically the hierarchy’s attempts at dealing with the issue resemble the machinations of members of the U.S. Congress towards controversial legislative issues. Why are the bishops so conflicted? Why are they so slow to act? Why are so few bishops FINALLY speaking out with regard to what is at the root of the issue?
“WASHINGTON — The recent sex-abuse scandals that have rocked the Church in the United States and beyond have mostly focused on the abuse of minors. At the same time, many recent revelations and allegations, as in the case of Archbishop Theodore McCarrick, have involved the sexual abuse or harassment of adults. How the Church deals with clerical sexual misconduct when it does not involve minors remains a thorny issue, but an increasingly urgent one. Independent investigations are currently underway by local bishops to examine allegations of serious sexual misconduct in seminaries in Boston, Philadelphia and Newark."

Nabi Sayeth: Let the Climbers Learn from the Humble African Bishops!

Nigerian bishops speak with a prophetic voice.
"Protect Life!"
Nabi Sayeth: The very foundation of the Christian family is under severe threat from the promoters of
the LGBTQ movement. Under the guise of promoting tolerance for alternative views of human sexuality and family life, LGBTQ activists use every means at their disposal to get their agenda enshrined in our national and global laws.
WASHINGTON, D.C., July 31, 2018 (LifeSiteNews) — Pro-homosexual voices are up in arms over remarks by a Trump administration official pledging to end the Obama-era practice of using aid to influence foreign nation’s policies on abortion and homosexuality.

Oh Brett, Did You Have to Prove the Naysayers Correct so Quickly?

Catholics?
Well, our hopes are dashed again! (Hope in men anyway.)

The Supreme Court's 3-6 decision refusing to review a lower court ruling means that funding of Planned Parenthood's baby-killing business will continue in Kansan and Alabama (and likely everywhere else for that matter). The case is about the rights of Medicaid patients to choose their health care providers, but also impacts the states' right to choose who those providers are.

Except for Neil Gorsuch, the most recent picks to the Supreme Court (John Roberts and Brett Kavanaugh) appear to be reincarnations of Sandra Day O'Connor and shameful Catholic Anthony Kennedy who did so much damage during his 30 years on the court.

Nabi Sayeth: The Climbers are Sociopaths Who Lust to Climb

Nabi Sayeth: We have learned so many things thus far about the sickening, narcissistic and perverted behavior of members of the Church’s hierarchy, especially from the stories about McCarrick, Bransfield, Wuerl and many other disgraced “shepherds”.....climbers all.

Message to the climbers: Lightning (i.e., the wrath of God) hits the highest objects.
It's the humble serving God's people in the low places who reap the harvest!

More Scandals and More Bad Bishops: Homosexual Enabling Continues

Joseph Bambera, one more homosexual-enabling
bishop. No doubt he echoes Pope Fancis'
sophistry, "Who am I to judge?"
Let me say this loud and clear.

ANY BISHOP WHO ENABLES HOMOSEXUAL PRIESTS IN HIS DIOCESE IS A WOLF IN SHEEP'S CLOTHING WHO HAS NO BUSINESS BEING A BISHOP!

Was that loud enough?

And now add this bishop, Joseph Bambera, to your list of false shepherds! If these men don't convert they are likely to become part of the crew whose miters (or skulls according to some saints) "litter the floor of hell."

This from a recent article by George Neumayr:
In 2017, homosexual activists celebrated Bishop Joseph Bambera of Scranton, Pennsylvania, for allowing a heretical priest to speak at a Catholic university in his diocese.

Nabi Sayeth: Humble People Listen to God's Messengers

Nabi Sayeth: In troubled times, times of confusion, God sends His messengers to us called “Nabi” or “Prophet”. Prophets were hard-linked conservatives who in Old Testament Times were sent by God, first to the king and then to the people to call them out for having turned away from God’s way and to call them to obedience to His will.

As you might imagine, human egos got in the way. The kings enjoyed their power and deluded themselves into thinking they were in control. To prop up the kings, there were employed in the royal court priests and prophets who sang the kings praises and told him only what he wanted to hear but never what he NEEDED to hear. To break up this monopoly on the king’s attention, God called His prophets to speak His words of judgment to them

Nabi Sayeth: Celebrate Our Lady on her Feast of the Immaculate Conception

Nabi sayeth: We celebrate on December 8 the wonderful Catholic feast of the Immaculate Conception of the Blessed Virgin Mary. And what a beautiful and powerful feast it is. Though widely misunderstand by Catholics in the pew, the feast commemorates the conception of the Virgin Mary, not the conception of our Lord Jesus as the Gospel reading for the Feast leads many to believe. The feast is meant to celebrate the uniqueness and incredible holiness of Our Mother Mary. That Mary is “Blessed among women” is a Catholic belief which will make little sense to many in our egalitarian-obsessed culture.

But the Catholic Church by celebrating this feast insists that Our Blessed Mother IS INDEED unique, special, most holy among all women, and men as well. She was chosen to be Our Lord’s Mother because she was conceived without sin and was, therefore, the most perfect “Vessel” to bear the Savior of the world.

Use Advent to Do Prayer and Penance to Prepare for Battle!

Let us all pray that 2019 is a year of faith and action -- when serious Catholic laity pick up the standard of Christ dropped and abandoned on the battlefield by complicit clergy. We cannot take the place of the shepherds called by God to defend the faith: to teach, govern, and sanctify; but we can boldly defend the faith, hold our ground and prepare the advance for the good shepherds. May we commit ourselves this advent to pray and fast like the Holy League facing the Turks at Lepanto in preparation for the great battle.

Catholic Warrior: Put on the Armor of God and Join the Battle Under the Standard of Christ Jesus!

Nabi Sayeth: The Sex Abuse Crisis is Impacting the Suicide Crisis

The double life of a predator cleric cries to
heaven for justice!
Nabi Sayeth: In Part I, I presented to you for your consideration the “thinking” that exists in the mind of the person who contemplates suicide. Suicide is a choice, an act of control when a man, woman or child thinks that life is overwhelmingly out of control. It’s their way of taking control of the pain and confusion.

But because they are so incredibly self-focused, they do not consider other options to remedy their confusion nor do they take into account the devastation they leave behind to the lives of the very people who love them the most.

In Part I, I was so bold as to write that the clergy sex abuse scandal is a contributing factor to the rise in the suicide rate. There are two ways that this is so:

Re Pope Francis: Is the Tiger Changing His Stripes?

Will the real Pope Francis please stand up!
I have read a number of quotes from the pope's new book about how homosexuals should not enter our seminaries or become priests. Wow! Wonderful words, eh? And, in light of the clergy homosexual abuse crisis, prudent indeed.

And surprising. We haven't heard this from "who am I to judge" Francis.

As Bishop Rene Gracida asks at his blog, "Could it be that this Pope has experienced a sudden, Pauline conversion on the road to Orthodoxy?"

Nabi Sayeth: Is the Sex Abuse Scandal Impacting the Suicide Crisis?

Nabi Sayeth: A news story involving a very high ranking member of the United States military services caught my attention….

Vice Adm. Scott Stearney, commander of U.S. Naval Forces Central Command and the U.S. Fifth Fleet, was found dead Saturday in his residence in Bahrain, U.S. military officials said. Defense Department sources told CBS News the death was "an apparent suicide."

A statement from Admiral John Richardson reads:

Nabi Sayeth: Is There Cause for Hope?

Is the pope's new book a sign of hope? Will homosexual candidates be banned from seminary?

Tuesday, December 4, 2018

Is This Young Priest a New Fulton Sheen?

Pray for him!

Nabi Sayeth: Where Did It All Begin?

Nabi Sayeth: After the sting to the heart and mind caused by the release of the sexual abuse report by the Pennsylvania grand jury, thoughtful people of faith are asking a most important question: How did it get this way?

This question is a most important one because it would seem that if we could get at the root cause of such a sickening scandal that perhaps faithful Catholics could attack the problem there and uproot the problem at its source.

My Friends, look no further than the candidates for seminary and the seminaries to which they are sent.

Racism in Islamic Heaven

Racism! All the heavenly babes
in Islamic paradise are WHITE.
All the sultan's women are white in every painting of harems. In all pictures representing Islam's 72 heavenly virgins for each man in Islamic paradise, the women are whitePerhaps we should cry, "RACISM! Shame on Islam. It's a racist religion!"

W
omen of all races are beautiful so why does Islam have a  preference for white women in their heaven? Is this racism against whites, as in white women are the houris (etymology meaning whores) of a supremacist Islamic heaven to be used for eternal sex, or is it racism against women of color because 1400 years ago in Muhammad's day white skin was desirable to Arabs, the skin of their own women being quite darkened from the hot desert sun after a lifetime of hard work? Even Muhammad's flying horse Lightning (al-Borak in Arabic) had the face of a white woman.

Following the Example of Daniel with Fr. Goring

I am including a link to a short video featuring Fr. Mark Goring, featured above, further down this page.   Mary Ann posted another video of him yesterday.

Nabi Sayeth: It's Not About the Money...Is It?

Nabi Sayeth: As the diocese of Santa Fe became the most recent to file for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection, the Archbishop of San Francisco released a staggering report at a town hall style meeting at St. Stephen Catholic Church:

“The Catholic diocese in San Francisco has settled roughly $87 million worth of sex abuse cases against priests and others associated with the church, mostly in the last 15 years, according to Archbishop Salvatore Cordileone.
