Bread and Circuses over the Covington Boys Continues...

Sentence first, verdict afterwards!
Has anyone in the country missed the story about the evil, racist, white-privileged,"Hitler youth" boys who mobbed a poor innocent Indian (a Vietnam vet to boot) just minding his own business? They scalped him you know after infecting his drum with smallpox and driving him onto the Trail of Tears. (Did I miss anything?) I'm not justifying the shameful acts and betrayal of native Americans by the U.S. governments 150 years ago, but these boys didn't do any of that!

The incident on Saturday looked more like Custer's last stand by a liberal leftist with a history of dishonest street theater aiming to annihilate a group of youngsters who are pro-life and pro-Trump. Yup, as more comes out, the second scenario appears to be the accurate one. go after a relatively soft target to make points.

I emailed this note to the Diocese of Covington this morning and hope their server is overwhelmed with messages supporting the boys and their families. I sent a similar email to Archbishop Kurtz of Louisville who joined the ignorant attack on the boys. The children deserved better from their spiritual fathers:

Book Review: Pope Francis's Paradigm Shift

Who would ever imagine the humanitarian crisis on our southern border would have anything to do with the indigenous tribes in Brazil.  I would never have connected those dots until I read the newly published English translation of Pope Francis’s Paradigm Shift, Continuity or Rupture in the Mission of the Church? by Jose Antonio Ureta.  This is “An Assessment of His Pontificate’s First Five Years.”
I’ve read two other books on Pope Francis that have been informative, but neither comes close to the quantity and quality of direct quotes and scholarly detail in concise text and extended footnote explanations.  The book is only 172 pages long and some pages are only half text.  (The other half taken up in footnotes with source information including many useful links to You Tube that you might never otherwise find on your own.)  This small book should be in everyone’s reading range.  It is available now on Amazon in print.  When I first saw it mentioned there was a reference to an online PDF, but I went straight for the hardcopy.  You can access the book online in three languages.  For English, go to: http://www.tfp.org/paradigm-shift-a-critical-assessment-of-the-francis-pontificate/    If you click this link and read even the 8 page introduction you will be STUNNED.  I finished the whole thing in three days.  Very hard to put it down.

Hate Hoax at the March for Life - Trashing White Boys, It's What Liberals Do!

HATE HOAX! HOW THE LIBERAL LEFT SETS THE AGENDA!

UPDATE: 8:45 P.M. This is not going away. The Covington families have been approached with an offer by attorney Robert Barnes to represent them pro-bono if they sue NY Times hack, Maggie Haberman for slander. Representative Thomas Massie (4th District Kentucky) said it his "honor to represent them...He tweeted:

Their Walls vs. Our Wall...

Be sure to take note of Pope Francis's 39 foot wall around the Vatican. Do you think anyone can just walk into his apartment at Santa Marta, or even get into the building? If you're in Rome, try it and let me know what happens. Is it really "immoral" as Nancy says to protect our borders? How do you think the ranchers along the border feel about drug cartels and human traffickers invading their property, killing animals, destroying their fences, stealing tools, etc. Do you think Nancy Pelosi or Chuck Schumer would invite illegals in for tea and to spend the night? Oh wait, many of these virtue-posturing liberals live in gated communities and have massive security systems, secret service, etc. to protect them. The hoi polloi can't afford that? Well, let them eat cake.

The Women's March Today Doesn't Represent Me. Does it Speak for You?

Because I'm pro-life, a Christian, I like godly men, and I don't wear my female organs on my head. How about you? Does the women's march today speak for you?

The toxic women's march today is a March for Hate. It will be filled with vulgarity, obscenity, hate for President Trump (and anyone who disagrees with the leftist fem-agenda). Compare it to yesterday's March for Life, a march for love.

Reflecting on Lost Friends and Difficult Relationships

Grief has a way of taking over your life: impacting your thoughts, your decisions, the way you feel when you get up in the morning, the way you organize your day. Sometimes I can't think. And so I do some mindless task: dusting, cleaning the bathroom, sweeping the front porch. But I can't help, in the midst of these mindless chores, thinking about and remembering past losses and griefs.

Toxic Feminism (It Sure Isn't Femininity!)

I'm sick of hearing about "toxic masculinity!" Oh, it exists all right. You'll find it all over the liberal
entertainment industry with the Harvey Weinsteins and their casting couches. You'll find it rampant among liberal politicians like rapist Bill Clinton and disgusting Anthony Weiner. You'll find it in the liberal media with men like David Letterman and with music videos showing men wearing bananas and cucumbers as genitals. (I won't show that disgusting excuse for "entertainment.") The howling suddenly becomes very subdued about those outrages.

This Says Everything about our Sick Society!

I Am Jazz is hosting a "farewell to penis party."

Easy prediction: this marriage of the nutty mother with the wimpy dad is headed for the rocks.

The Universal Call to Suffering

"A voice was heard in Ramah...Rachel weeping for her children."
Massacre of the Innocents by Rubens
If there is one vocation shared by everyone (in addition to the call to holiness) it must be the call to accept and embrace suffering. I have been thinking about that almost daily for many months. When we started attending Grief Share two weeks ago, I remembered all the people I know touched by tragedy and loss. No one gets out of life without paying a price in suffering, often a high price.

Fr. Tom Collins: Observations on the USCCB (United States Conference of Catholic Bishops)

And why, exactly, do we need the USCCB?
For several decades now, it seems that the USCCB has, de facto, regularly been giving a “free pass” to a number of dangerous political, societal and psychological trends, among them are:

The Pederasts' and Pedophiles' Paradise! When Parents Treat their Children Like Chops in the Meat Market!

It's millstone time and plenty of parents are fighting to be first in line. Any parents who participate in the pornographication of their children, clearly DO NOT LOVE THEM! I suspect this was one of the sins of Sodom and Gomorrah. God took the children in their innocence to save them from their parents whose consciences were so dead they couldn't even recognize the diabolical nature of this scandal!

"Catholic mitres look funny". Meanwhile not a word of criticism about these.

Archbishop Vigano Pens "Open Letter" to Theodore McCarrick!

Archbishop Viganò urges McCarrick to publicly repent in new open letter (FULL TEXT)

Archbishop Vigano has been held up as an icon for his exposure of the homosexual network in the Church, and I'm grateful for everything he has done. But I'm also concerned that people will believe that McCarrick's exposure will bring us to the end of a sad chapter in Church history?

Will it?

Or is the Vigano affair an on-going soap opera and a cynical attempt to convince Catholic laity that the problem is being seriously addressed and solved.

Fr. Tom Collins: Overcome Evil by Embracing Authentic Repentance

"If you didn't want me to sin, why did you give me that woman, God?"
Editor's note: Fr. Tom raises important issues in this post. Do you have a sincere conscience or a "sin-seared" conscience? How do you form your conscience -- by the opinions on The View and Good Morning America or by the dogmatic teachings of the Church? Unless each of us examines his life with a well-formed, sincere conscience, he can never overcome his evil actions or avoid the appeal of seductive temptations. Rationalization has been man's weakness since  Adam pointed his finger at God and said, "The woman you gave me, she gave me the fruit and so I ate it." We are all tempted to rationalize and imitate Adam saying, "You made me do it, God! It's your fault!"

McCarrick was missing for 3 years before the age of 20.

Theodore McCarrick was missing for 3 years before
the age of 20. Where was he and what was he doing?
The following facts indicate something gone very wrong in Theodore McCarrick's young life, suggesting that his homosexual vice goes back to his teenage years.

The following dates are factual, not conjectural, and show that from age 15 the now disgraced Cardinal Theodore McCarrick was more than likely groomed for the sodomite priesthood by Cardinal "Nellie" Spellman and the homosexuals in his NYC Lavender Mafia.

Timeline of 10 years of Theodore McCarrick's early life from May 1944 - May 1954
which include 3 missing years before age 20:

May 1944 - McCarrick graduates 8th grade from New York City's Washington Heights Incarnation School in May of 1944 at age 13. He would turn 14 on July 7 (DOB 7-7-30).

September 1944 - May 1946
McCarrick starts high school at Xavier High School at age 14 on an oratory scholarship in September 1944 and completes 2 academic years there - Freshman and Sophomore years - by May 1946 when he is 15, soon to be 16.

Border Walls Work! Hungary Cuts Illegal Immigration by 99% with Border Wall!

Viktor Orban, prime minister of Hungary, is a bogieman of the left. Liberals hate him almost as much as they hate Donald Trump because he is about the only European leader fighting the invasion of illegals intent on, not only a better life, but the destruction of Western culture. There are all kinds of anti-Orban articles on the net excoriating him as "far right" for failing to follow the examples of EU countries waving the, often violent, invaders across their borders and farther west. (Just keep on going, keep on going!) He, on the other hand, makes it clear that "to defend borders is a national responsibility." Wow! The rare voice of truth!

Save your daughters from the evil ROGD agenda vigorously propagated at universities.

Mothers are in shock as their daughters come home from college with mustaches and breasts removed.

ROGD kids    ROGD means Rapid Onset Gender Dysphoria

When Your Daughter Defies Biology  This article was published January 6, 2019, in The Wall Street Journal however one has to pay to read it. This is the same article from Reddit (free).

Brown University censors study that found gender dysphoria can be caused by "social and peer" contagion

Girls can order underwear with attached plastic male genitalia so they can feel more male; boys can order underwear that make them look female by suppressing their genitals. The company making transgender underwear is based in San Francisco however isn't linked for obvious reasons.
Protect y
our children from this horrendously evil agenda.

Remind Us Again Why We Should Believe Cardinal Wuerl Is a Champion for the Sexually Abused?

On the contrary, he was an enabler and covered up for abusers except when it was politically useful to take action against them.

Gee. There's a Plague in Mecca.

What to do, what to do. My goodness. Mecca's Grand Mosque,

It Happened Again

Having "really wonderful personalities" is not a solid rock-hard defense against evil.

"Credibly Accused" but Innocent Priests

People have a right to their good names. In fact, it's a moral imperative defended by Church teaching. The Catechism of the Catholic Church says that "Respect for the reputation of persons forbids every attitude and word likely to cause them unjust injury." It goes on to describe the sins of rash judgment (leaping to conclusions), detraction (revealing sins of others to those who have no need to know), and calumny (lying). All of these are sins against justice and violating them demands the "duty of reparation." What does this consist of? According to CCC 2487, "This reparation, moral and sometimes material, must be evaluated in terms of the extent of the damage inflicted. It obliges in conscience."

Think of exactly how damaging a false accusation against a priest is! He is alter Christus! It is like crucifying Christ once again.

Millennial Seminarian

MILLENNIAL SEMINARIAN
My main goal is to serve the Church because I have so many inspiring insights on how to live life. I mean life isn't all about me, right? It's about so much more. Like having fun, living each day like it was my last day, having sex with anyone. After all, I don't want to put myself in a box.

I also like to get really drunk and update my Facebook and Instagram pages then look at them the next afternoon when I'm depressed and hungover. The selfies are always amazing but I can't figure out why I'm crying in all of them.

A Tale of Two Priests

This makes abundantly clear exactly why we are in the mess we're in. Like the Facebook meme says, "Holiness gets you exiled. Gay advocacy gets you promoted." Exactly! And that's why Fr. James Martin, S.J. is allowed to continue being a change agent for the homosexual agenda while Fr. Mark Goring is being muzzled. Pray for both these men. One is faced with persecution. The other is teetering on the brink of the fiery pit. Fr. Goring has the better deal, one that makes saints. Fr. Martin? Pray for his conversion! Viva Cristo Rey!

To Coexist or Not to Coexist? That Is the Question

An article appeared in The Washington Post by Mike Groggin on December 7, 2018, titled:  Clark Lobenstine had a pioneering concept of interfaith.  Can it survive?
I would never have read this article because; first of all, I don’t read the Washington Post.  Furthermore, I loathe interfaith anything that doesn’t entail dragging earthquake victims from the rubble, and then, I am willing to make an exception.  The rest of the time “interfaith” is a word, in my opinion, that has the odor of a skunk.  It is so repellent you just know something HAS TO BE wrong with it before you ever lay eyes on it.

Fr. Tom Collins describes how the USCCB Acts Like the Liberal Democrat Party...

Disgraced Cardinal Wuerl addresses the conference
in November.  They still listen to this man?
Are the bishops serious about clergy sex abuse?
Sure doesn't look like it!
Editor's comment....The bishops' buraucracy enables abortion, contraception, gender ideology, and other moral evils through their "charities," particularly the Catholic Campaign for Human Development (disguised under other names in some dioceses), Catholic Charities, Catholic Relief Services, etc. All these "charities" which do some good work also contribute to abject moral evils. You can't give to them without contributing to the evil. So with one hand you offer help and with the other slap the face of Christ. But, hey, supporting liberal politics keeps the federal tax dollars flowing into the bishops' coffers. So accepting a "little" sin is the price one pays to keep the money flowing! Thirty pieces of silver anyone?

Ready to Start a Fire Storm?

I’m ready to start a fire storm.  Are you?  In his sermon yesterday at St. Catherine’s of Siena in Great Falls, VA, Pastor Jerry Pokorsky said it’s time to put away our Christmas decorations and it is also time for us to realize the outward appearance of our Catholic faith is too often only just that, decoration.  The very vestments he wears, he said, are only ornamentation, and it is what’s underneath that really matters.  He said we must stop hiding behind the ornaments and start to be true defenders of our faith.

My Thoughts on the Gag Order Put on Fr. Mark Goring by Chriss Rainey

I am absolutely crushed that Fr. Mark Goring has been silenced.  He was told to cease and desist by “his superiors.”  He didn’t say how far up that command went.  Was it only from the head of his order?  Or was it through that head coming further up the food chain from Cardinal Daniel DiNardo, bishop of Houston-Galveston, and president of the USCCB?  Or who knows?  Was it from the Vatican after some whining from Cardinal Donald Wuerl?  It doesn’t matter.  Someone with power to ruin his whole life has put the thumb screws on one of the most refreshing voices I’ve heard in a very long time.

"Life is Real, Life is Earnest and the Grave is Not Its Goal!"

This video talk got me thinking about Longfellow's poem on life. The last line, "learn to labor and to wait," makes me think of the Blessed Mother who pondered all things in her heart -- perpetually waiting on the Lord to reveal His will for her.

Sunday Meditation: What Better Way to Start the New Year than Repent of Our Sins and Make a Firm Purpose of Amendment?

I'm not sure how I got on Buffalo Regional Right to Life's mailing list, but a recent newsletter contained an Act of Contrition which offers much for meditation. One can sin through malice or through ignorance. Obviously, the sins we commit out of ignorance limit our culpability, but they still offend God's justice. Praying and sacrificing in atonement for those sins, both our own and those of others, can be a response to St. Paul's admonition to "make up what's lacking in the suffering of Christ." (Colossians 1:24)

Obviously, Jesus' sacrifice is perfect so what can possibly be lacking? The answer: our free will decision to join our sufferings to His. He will never force our will, but He invites us to participate in the salvation of the world. If you read Fr. Collins' description of God's covenantal relationship with us, you know how much God desires our union with Him and with each other. Whenever we sin, we break that covenant and damage both our relationship with God and with the human family. It is good to ponder on that and repent.

Fr. Mark Goring: The Rest of the Story - #CatholicLaityRising

I noticed last night that Fr. Mark Goring's post about Cardinal Wuerl had been taken down. Frankly, I was not surprised and wondered how long it would take for him to be clobbered. Not long actually. Today he posted this video about his superiors' order to "cease and desist."

Is Mirijauna the New Thalidomide?

Thalidomide hurt children back in the 1950s and 60s. Will we never learn from past mistakes?
Women are warned against smoking and using alcohol during pregnancy, but a new potential medical crisis looms on the horizon for babies in the womb and their moms. "Dispensaries" of mirijauna are advising women to use the drug during pregnancy to alleviate morning sickness. According to a recent article in the U.K.'s Daily Mail:

Tucker Carlson Defends the Family and Calls for Economic Reform! Put Families First!

Tucker's monologue on his first night back from vacation January 2nd was something we should be hearing from our American bishops. If you want to reform America, he said, put families first. Market capitalism isn't a religion; it's a tool. And when that tool contributes to the destruction of the American family, it's become a wrecking ball. Watch for yourself.

When insanity takes over a culture, civility goes right out the window.

You better not use the wrong pronoun or the wrong "gender identity" for these folks or get ready for verbal and even physical violence. Would you trust this person with a gun? Clearly he is a danger to both himself and others.

What the Liberal Left is Bringing Us!

The left can't stand they truth. They will do
all they can to suppress it! So they call abortion '
"choice" and views with which they disagree "hate
speech." Speak the truth anyway!
Death threats violent attacks, and censorship.

Michael Savage, facing death threats, heads to secret location

Wave of Blue Violence

Now that the Democrats have taken over the House of Representatives watch for the rhetoric to escalate. Maxine Waters, Nancy Pelosi, Joe Biden, and all the rest of the liberal left are gearing up for a greater assault on the "deplorables" out here -- You know, the uneducated, stupid, gun carrying, Bible-thumping Christians they hate -- like you and me.

Say NO! Loud and Clear to Cardinal Donald Wuerl's Participation in the Youth Event for the March for Life

Update: January 5, 2019. This video disappeared yesterday or the day before. I suspect Fr. Goring was instructed to take it down and complied out of obedience, although I haven't seen any statement from him. It's important for us to pray for this courageous young priest. We've seen what the corrupt bishops do to those who stand up boldly for the truth. Fr. Goring needs to be surrounded with prayer. Our Lady, Queen of the Clergy, pray for him and for your poor flock of battered sheep.

Below, find a list of those who need to hear about the necessity to remove Cardinal Wuerl from public ministry, particularly as a voice to youth.

Our Goal: To Resemble Christ

Published in German in 2012,
English translation in 2015
Revolutions are meant to overthrow existing order.  Most revolutions are the work of a disgruntled populous and are led and directed by a small circle of people who use the discontent of the masses for their own gain.  The sexual revolution however, is different.  The masses have not called for this, but they have been led by people like Jean-Jacques Rousseau, Henri de Saint-Simon, Friedrich Nietzsche, Sigmund Freud, C.G. Jung, and Alfred Kinsey to believe that the world no longer needs God or the prohibitions a moral code would put on their passions.
In the book, The Global Sexual Revolution, Destruction of Freedom in the Name of Freedom, author Gabriele Kuby says,
“With the abdication of Napoleon in April 1814, the return of King Louis XVIII, and the rehabilitation of the Jesuits by Pope Pius VII, the first sexual revolution spent some time buried under the ashes of the political restoration.  However, it merely smoldered there for 200 years to become a global conflagration ignited by the strategist of today’s global sexual revolution.

Nabi Sayeth: A New Year Blessing on the Feast of the Most Humble One

She is Always Our Blessed Mother, in both joy and sorrow!

She embraces and shares her child with us in the joyful moments of life.

Guest Post by Fr. Tom Collins -- Mary as Co-Redemptrix Part II: The Mystery of Redemption

Editors Note: See the Premises and Foundations for this article here and Part I here

From this covenant perspective, a beautiful dimension of the mystery of the Redemption becomes more evident. Scripture is quite clear in stating the fact that Jesus died for us because God loved us (John 3:16, Rom. 5:10, I Jn 4:19). Jesus' death on the cross did not cause God to love us, since God is beyond the control of the cause-effect dynamic. Thus the Redemption is not an act of appeasing the anger of a wrathful God, but rather the epiphany of the merciful God in the midst of the mercy-less condition that festers in the heart of sinful humanity. This condition of the human heart is the consequence of our free choice to reject a covenantal life with God and with one another. In the mystery of the Redemption, each human person is given the opportunity to break away from the power of sin and, by God's mercy, be restored to the status of membership in His covenant family. In the process, the redeemed are given the strength to break away from the corrupting "covenant" of sin; i.e., the tendency to commit one's self to the perverted fellowship of complicity with the spirits of evil, such as lust, envy, pride, avarice, anger, gluttony and sloth for the sake of some transient pleasure or advantage.

Have you seen my son?

Jesus is found by His mother, Mary
The gospel on Sunday was about Jesus missing and his parents in a rush to find him again.  I don’t know if you have ever lost a child temporarily or not, but I have and the overwhelming fear and panic that you experience is like nothing else.  The longer they are beyond your reach, the more terror stricken you become.  It is only holding them in your arms again that can calm your fear.

I have experienced this with my son, who is now 44, on three different occasions and each time the thought crossed my mind that I might never see my child again.  You would think I must be a bad mother or that I had a very disobedient child, but I like to think neither was the case, as I believe Mary and Joseph were also attentive loving parents.  The fact is, with kids strange things just happen.  Our son was first lost in a store while in the care of my mother, who agreed to keep an eye on him while I went alone to the toy department to buy his Christmas gifts and hide them in the trunk of the car without him seeing them.
The two of them were browsing the greeting card racks together and when Mother walked around the end of an aisle in the store she assumed he was by her side.  When he looked up, however, she was not in his sight, so he went directly to a cashier and said, “I can’t find my grandmother.”  He was four at the time and had been told NEVER EVER EVER leave the store without me.  The store made an announcement on the PA system for Chad’s grandmother to please come to check stand #4 to meet her grandson.  Hearing the announcement, I knew there was a problem and I dropped the toys in the aisle and made a bee line to the check stand.   I was there before my mother and there was Chad, happy as you please, waiting to be rescued.  My mother arrived shortly in tears saying, “I’m sorry, I’m so sorry.  One minute he was there, the next minute he was gone.”
