Pope Benedict XVI Died Today; May He Rest in Peace.

Don't forget, even a pope needs prayers and it's a spiritual work of mercy.

Just Do It. Stand Up to Satanic Drag Queens

Childhood innocence uncorrupted and pure -
sensing the good, true and beautiful.
Drag queens want to break this child's innocence,
defile and slaughter it with impurity and evil.

Florida's Governor Ron DeSantis is investigating a Christmas drag queen show that toured Florida marketing sexually explicit performances intended to groom children. The national drag tour consisted of 36 performances in 18 different states including Washington, DC

Various vile scenes from the Dec 26th Ft Lauderdale show were posted on Twitter by Chris Nelson who was escorted out of the venue by police. He said that multiple children were present, some looking as young as 10 years old.

In the Screwdolph the Red Nippled Reindeer performance there were countless simulated sex acts with sexual videos playing in the background. "Men in kink harnesses grab their privates, grind and simulate humping."

If You've Been Following the Fr. Pavone "Debacle" You Need to Read One Mad Mom's Post

In a long life of pro-life activism, I've never held the mangled dead body of an aborted baby. I've never gone through the trash at an abortion mill. I've never participated in the burial of a tiny abortion victim. I know a number of pro-lifers who have and I respect them more than words can express. Fr. Paul Marx did. Fr. Frank Pavone did.

I really, really love Ukraine and President Zelensky. He's so brave. So awesome in his green T-shirt. I think Putin and all Russians are really, really, really evil and Russia needs to be destroyed. I really, really, really, really pride myself on being super informed about what's going on in the world.

"Have Courage and Be Kind!"

"Where there is kindness there is goodness and where there is goodness there is magic!" And this film is filled with goodness and magic.

Christmas week is a time to focus on all things good and kind, bright and beautiful. I've been wanting to watch Cinderella again for a long time - not the animated version or the weird 2021 abomination. (I've only seen the trailer and that was more than enough!) No, I'm talking about the absolutely breathtaking and beautiful 2015 Cinderella directed by Kenneth Branagh who proved himself as more than an actor.

After Christmas Day Random Thoughts: Celebration Time

1. It's only the third day of Christmas and already the Christmas decorations are coming down and the real trees are being dragged out to the curb. REALLY, PEOPLE, THE SEASON JUST STARTED!

CELEBRATE!

Too Sweet Not to Repeat: Merry Christmas!

I posted this in 2011 and can't tell you who the friend was who sent the Christmas card now. But I love the message this precious picture sends and the message beneath it. I think it's worth repeating. We live in such ugly times with so much evil, but goodness still shines. Let us all run to the manger like the shepherds and kneel before Our Savior who came as a helpless baby to be loved and cuddled by His creatures even a lonely little pooch.

MERRY CHRISTMAS TO ALL OUR READERS FROM ME AND SUSAN!

A friend sent me this as an email Christmas card and I pass it on to you. Be sure to curl up with Jesus sometime Christmas day. After all, He's the reason for the season.

A Nativity Scene was erected in a church yard. During the night, someone came across this. An abandoned dog was looking for a comfortable, protected place to sleep. He chose baby Jesus as his comfort. No one had the heart to send him away so he was there all night.

We should all have the good sense of this dog and curl up in Jesus' lap from time to time. This is too sweet not to share.

No one mentioned that the dog breed is a "shepherd!"

"The Big Little Jesus"

Merry Christmas!

Unlike today, in 1953 Hollywood had respect for the Catholic Church.

We All Need the Courage of Don Camillo!

When I was a child I read all the books in The Little World of Don Camillo series set in Italy after World War II. Don Camillo, the fictional priest of the fictional village of Boscaccio on the Po river is a foil to Peppone, the Communist mayor of the town. Don Camillo and Peppone often fight as you can see from this clip.

While they often fought, however, they also often worked together against injustice.

A Reader comments on Eric Sammons' Article: The Sad Case of Frank Pavone

Crisis Magazine published The Sad Case of Frank Pavone by Eric Sammons a few days ago. Frankly, I'm getting a little tired of the discussion over Fr. Pavone and will probably drop it after this post. But some things are instructive and I think this situation is. Let's face it, celebrity priests do not have a good track record. Have you ever noticed how adulation often builds pride in the one basking in the spotlight? Being the center of attention sometimes makes people think rules don't apply to them -- even God's rules.

Don't You Wish You Could Do to Your Budget What the Feds Do? Print Money!

Written in the blood of taxpayers!

I was at the hospital yesterday getting blood work done. It felt like a metaphor of what the Biden administration is doing to the taxpayers these days. (Not that bleeding the taxpayers is anything new or restricted to Democrats!) The phlebotomist taking my blood was a delightful young mom with a four-year-old. She was telling me how she has nothing extra this year to buy gifts. She lives in an apartment building with her parents on the floor upstairs and an elderly friend downstairs. Her son and her cat roam the building freely among these loving neighbors.

Guest Post: Christmas and Easter Cicadas

Christmas and Easter Cicadas
by Thomas Walsh

A Christmas Cicada: note the red bulb eyes
The life cycle of cicadas is still a mystery. They live dormant underground, hidden from view, only to emerge en masse by the millions every 13 or 17 years. After a short period of activity they disappear back underground, where the long process begins again.

Similarly, this is the semi-annual season for the emergence of that strange class of Christians - Catholic and Protestant alike - known as C&E’ers. Twice each year – Christmas and Easter – they invade Churches everywhere for a single service then vanish back to the golf greens and shopping malls from whence they came.

We Don't know What We Don't Know about Fr. Pavone!

Fr. Stephen Imbarrato, a veteran of Red Rose Rescues, worked directly with Fr. Pavone. His witness on this matter is worth listening to. Pray for everyone involved in this controversy. Celebrity priests are targets of satan and often pride damages much of their good work.

Let's all take a deep breath.

More on the Fr. Pavone Controversy!

I try to always be fair and practice due diligence when it comes to conflicts. Yesterday, I wrote about Fr. Pavone's dismissal from the priesthood. After doing more research, I think the story is more complicated. Phil Lawler wrote the article, Fr. Pavone's last stand linked below. I believe Lawler is a good and honest reporter with a solid track record. he wrote this article in 2011.

"Curiouser and Curiouser:" Living in the Francis Bizarro Church!

I would have said "Wonderland," but there is nothing of "wonder" in anything that comes out of the Francis Vatican these days, only of the bizarre. Let's look at some of the latest abominations:

1. Vatican dismissal of Fr. Pavone -- Yes, it's true, crazy but true, and one more event that damages belief of faithful Catholics in the legitimacy and authority of Rome. Here's Fr. Pavone's response to this abomination.

You can read more about it in the articles below:

Are You Praying the Great O Antiphons?

This time of year I always recall a wonderful homily given by a former pastor of ours, Fr. Richard Ley, anticipating the O Antiphons. These are the antiphons that begin on December 17th and continue through Christmas Eve. Fr. Ley, who is now retired and living in Florida, has a gift for preaching and it was clearly demonstrated as he described each of the antiphons that illustrate one of Christ's titles:

One of the greatest gifts is the Family -- Combined with the Gift of Music -- C'est Magnifique!

We can all use a lift during these busy days when so many suffer from various challenges: the loss of loved ones, disappointments, the physical difficulty of seasonal light disorder and depression. Take a moment to let the glory of this song fill you with the true gift of Christmas -- the love of Our Savior God.

Being a Liberal is Never Having to Say You're Sorry, Even When You Cause Physical, Emotional, & Economic Devastation!

Maybe this explains it.
Back in 2020 and 2021, I was getting lambasted for "wanting to kill people." What brought about this accusation? The fact that I didn't jump on the mask bandwagon, and I made it clear there was no way I was going to be a guinea pig for Big Pharma. I can't tell you how many times I was told I was unchristian and wanted to kill people. Goodness, if I went back to my Facebook page and old blog posts, I could give you dozens of examples of hysterical messages attacking my decision, because everyone knew that the jab was "safe and effective" and that non-vaccinated people, no matter how asymptomatic, were typhoid Marys spreading death to the community. On the other hand, the vaccinated would never get COVID and could never spread it to their neighbors.

Ember Days? What are they and what happened to them?

Today begins one of the quarterly periods observed by the Catholic Church called "Ember Days." I remember them growing up. Our Catholic calendar showed a half fish meaning that on those days (Wednesday and Saturday) meat could only be eaten at the main meal. Friday, of course, was a day of complete abstinence. All three days were fast days (one main meal and two smaller meals that did not add up to a full meal).

They are really Straining at a Camel when They Report This Nonsense!

People who skipped their COVID vaccine are at higher risk of traffic accidents, according to a new study

This is hilarious! Read the comments. And consider. Those who got the vax were older and likely among the most afraid in the population. Many went nowhere, saw no one (even family), and probably saved a tremendous amount on gas as they locked up at home and told the postman to leave packages out front until they could disinfect them.

Those having accidents were younger, so more likely to be driving. If you read the study it's clear the goal was aimed at convincing the "vaccine hesitant" to sign on. Hey, not only is the vax "safe and effective" but you'll be less likely to have a traffic accident if you get it.

I think this study was done by the white rabbit and the Cheshire Cat with the Mad Hatter as chief researcher.

How Will the Insurance Companies Respond to These Statistics?

Group life insurance statistics tell curious story of ‘sudden deaths’

"A new book details a stunning increase in excess mortality among group life insurance policyholders in 2021.

'Group life policyholders are those employed with Fortune 500 companies, who tend to be younger and well-educated and are generally the healthiest among us. Before the rollout of the Covid vaccines, they died at one-third the rate of the general U.S. population."

(Click on link above to read the entire review. )

Question: Why the excess death rate in the healthiest segment of the population? It all began in 2021. Follow the science. Do the research.

Sunday Meditation: Who's "Along for the Ride?"

Was Jesus "along for the ride" as Mary carried Him to visit Elizabeth, as she went to the well for water, as she weaved swaddling clothes and worked at the loom, as she traveled to Bethlehem and rested on a bed of straw in the stable? Or were Mary and all of us "along for the ride," the most amazing ride in the history of mankind? As we celebrate Gaudete Sunday, let us rejoice at the Incarnation of God made man and realize that the conception and birth of every baby is a reminder of that miracle. Pray for parents that they will rejoice at new life, protect it, and celebrate the joys of parenthood making their own homes the imitation of the Holy Family's home at Nazareth. May Jesus Christ be praised!

Here's What Russia is Doing for One American Family Who Moved and Became Citizens!

A short time ago, I began following an American dad, Joseph Gleason, who moved his large family to Russia six years ago and became a Russian citizen. Today he sent an article with a talk written by his 19-year-old daughter whose goal in life is to be a wife and mother of many children. The wisdom and maturity of this young women are inspiring. You can watch the video with the translation or read the English transcript. Don't believe all the negative things you hear about Russia. It's unlikely Russian police will be raiding this family's home with assault rifles or trying to remove their children from their parents for daring to home school them.

The Devil is Nothing If He Isn't Bold in Blasphemy! Marriage Bill Passes on Mary's Feast Day!

What an abomination took place today in Congress on the Feast of the Immaculate Conception. The House passed the Orwellian named "Respect for Marriage" act which enshrines into federal law same-sex marriage. The bill makes two men or two women sodomizing each other equivalent to the marital act blessed by God in the sacramental union of husband and wife. It now goes to the President who announced how happy he will be to sign it into law.

A Stable is the Perfect Place for Baby Jesus to be Born

This is a stable

Every Christmas we're inundated with comments from the pulpit, websites and blogs about how awful it was that Baby Jesus was "born in a smelly stable", "born among filth", "born in a filthy stable", "born in a really cold dank smelly stable". I just want to jump up and cry, "You've never even been in a barn, have you?"

It's evident that many of these priests and people never experienced the sweetness of a clean stable so how do they know what a barn is like? Several decades of my life were spent in barns—hunter and show barns, Thoroughbred racehorse barns, racetrack barns, sales barns, and Thoroughbred breeding and training farms.

The Scribe: The Legend of Josiam Part 2

THE SCRIBE

THE LEGEND OF JOSIAM

by Thomas J. Walsh

Chapter IV

That afternoon Josiam purchased a small cart and donkey in the marketplace. He was planning to try to intercept the entourage on its way back to Jerusalem. He would warn the wise men away from King Herod and then have them direct him to the Child’s family so
he could also advise them to flee the king’s soldiers. He never considered himself a brave man; indeed, he was more afraid than he had ever been in his long life. However, his outrage at King Herod’s plan would not let him close his eyes to it. So now he could only wait for darkness and pray for the courage he would need.

A Gift on the Feast of St. Nicholas -- The Scribe: The Legend of Josiam

Editor's Note: I love my readers! Many of their comments are spot on and bring up aspects of a subject that I haven't even thought of. How much they enrich the experience of blogging. I'm so thankful for them. One sent me a short story he was assigned once in a class (in 1991). Students were told to write an original piece about Christmas. I was so impressed with what he sent, I asked to reprint it. I know you will be as taken with the elderly scribe, Josiam, as I was. He makes me think of Simeon in his excitement over the coming of the Messiah. Because of its length, I'm publishing this in two parts. Part 1 is your St. Nicholas Day gift. It may be late in the evening, but it's still that dear saint's feast day. May you enjoy this little gift as much as I did.

THE SCRIBE

THE LEGEND OF JOSIAM

by Thomas J. Walsh

Chapter I

“Josiam, you had best come quickly!” Enos called to the elderly scribe, who was sitting hunched over with his nose nearly touching the tiny wooden desk. “King Herod demands that we attend to him in his court at once.”

Why is there almost always something in the Vatican Christmas Scene to Make You Laugh? (Or Cry.)

The Vatican Christmas scene is up in St. Peter's Square. It's hand carved, traditional and lovely. But can someone explain the guy with the backpack who's got his hand over the ear of his fellow traveler? It made me think of the monkey who hears no evil. Well....maybe that's appropriate.

A Compelling Defense of the SSPX by Fr. Denzil Meuli, S.T.D., U.J.D., Ph.L, LL.B., Advocate for the Roman Rota

Archbishop Marcel Lefebvre
Editor's Note: There were so many mistakes and irregularities in the attack on the SSPX it would take an encyclopedia to list them all. Lefebvre was denied a fair hearing or even to be given the charges. Like so many cases in the Church where good priests have experienced kangaroo court proceedings, this was the case for the Archbishop. He defied the modernist takeover of the Church, so he was guilty.Take a look at the credentials of Fr. Meuli at the end of the article. His opinion weighs very heavily in terms of his expertise as both a canon and civil lawyer. As I have said numerous times, the SSPX is NOT in schism. I base that not on my own opinion but on the legal opinions of those with impeccable credentials. At the very least, the situation is confusing enough with varying opinions from canon lawyers that charity calls for the benefit of the doubt to be given to the accused. Fr. Meuli died in 2019 at the age of 92. His letter is a blessed gift to the Church and defends very well the fact that the SSPX is NOT IN SCHISM! [My comments are in red, although I feel a little silly to even think of adding to this brilliant canonist's writing. I hope the few comments I've made help clarify.] And, by the way, if anyone is in schism it's the modernists in the Church who are running the synodal horrors undermining the faith.

Ukraine's War Profiteering - Theft, Corruption and Cote d'Azur

War for thee but not for me in Cote d'Azur

This RT News article is by Olga Sukharevskaya, ex-Ukrainian diplomat. RT states: "You can share this story on social media".

Bye-bye, Kiev, hello Cote d’Azur: As Westerners send aid, here’s how Ukraine’s corrupt elites are profiting from the conflict

Officials and oligarchs have diverted much of the financial support sent to Kiev.

Since the beginning of Russia's military offensive in Ukraine, the US, EU, and their allies have provided Kiev with $126 billion worth of aid, a number almost equal to the country's entire GDP. Moreover, millions of Ukrainians have found refuge in the EU, where they were given housing, food, work permits, and emotional support. The scope is huge, even by Western standards. Considering that the bloc has been funding Kiev while coping with an economic and energy crisis of its own, the assistance is perhaps especially notable.

Kiev bases its endless funding requests on the collapse of its economy, due to the war, and its need to “resist Russian aggression.” But is the aid reaching its intended destination?

Are We Catholics "In Season and Out of Season?"

Heaven is NOT inclusive! Don't lose it for the fleeting pleasures of this world!

On the Road to Bethlehem!

Mary & Joseph find a stopping point near a fallen down shed not far from
the chicken coop. Eggs for breakfast.

I recently received a meme suggesting replacing the "Elf on a Shelf" with Mary and Joseph making the trip to Bethlehem. What a wonderful idea! Since I have a statue of the expectant mother riding a donkey being led by dear St. Joseph, I decided to spend Advent journeying with them along the Advent road at Camp Kreitzer. They began the journey today outside under the pine trees not far from the chicken coop.

Africa is the biggest country in the world!!

The Thinker
by Auguste Rodin

1) Recently at work a 20 year-old young man and I were talking about Russia and Ukraine. When I said that Russia is the biggest country in the world he said, "No it isn'tAfrica is the biggest country in the world." I was saddened by his lack of geographical knowledge since he's graduated from high school. I gently said, "Africa is a continent, not a country."

Who will be the next fatality?

I pray it’s no one in my family. But read this from Dr. Toby Rogers for a dose of reality:

“How long before the clot shot takes out a cabinet member or member of Congress? We already have two strokes following boosters — Senators Ben Ray Lujan and John Fetterman. Illinois Rep. Sean Carsten’s teenage daughter Gwen died unexpectedly in her sleep of a sudden cardiac arrhythmia at the age of 17 in June. These numbers are just going to keep increasing. I imagine we will see several world leaders felled by the clot shot in the coming year. We live in the dumbest of all possible universes.”

Sober and Serious New Years Eve

Today is the “other” New Years Eve. You know - the one that precedes the onset of Advent, the minor penitential season. How will you “ring out” the old liturgical year and welcome the new?

It seems to me to be a good time to reflect on the spiritual progress (or regress) of the past year and plan strategies for the new. I made four resolutions this year on retreat. I read them almost every day. If I can be faithful to them, I’ll be thankful. I count on the help of my guardian angel and patron saints to help. May Advent be a blessing for all of us as we invoke Our Lady Help of Christians.

May we all embrace Chesterton’s approach to Thanksgiving!

When it comes to life the critical thing is whether you take things for granted or take them with gratitude.”—G. K. Chesterton

“You say grace before meals. All right. But I say grace before the concert and the opera, and grace before the play and pantomime, and grace before I open a book, and grace before sketching, painting, swimming, fencing, boxing, walking, playing, dancing and grace before I dip pen in the ink.”

Have a happy and blessed Thanksgiving, grateful for all things both pleasant and painful. All things come from God and He directs them toward our good. May we not waste anything, but embrace everything with humble submission to God’s will.

Will I kiss the cross today?

One of my favorite images from The Passion of the Christ is the scene where Jesus accepts His cross and kisses it. How it shames me! Jesus sees in the cross the salvation of the world -  my salvation! Can I not then recognize the value of my own suffering as cooperation with the sufferings of Christ. Do I “kiss the cross?” I think I will make that question my Advent meditation. Help me to kiss the cross, Lord, instead of grumbling and complaining like the Israelites in the desert. My Jesus, I trust in You.

Random Thoughts on Tuesday

This is a picture of...

1) A woman (L) and a man (R)
2) A man (L) and a woman (R)
3) Two women
4) Two men

The answer is #4 - Two men
The man on the left is Nikkie de Jager who knew from an early age that he was born in the wrong body. The man on the right is Dylan Drossaers who's "married" to de Jager. I assume that makes them both homosexuals, not male/female heterosexuals.

In 2020, after de Jager came out as transgender, he appeared on the Ellen DeGeneres Show where he later complained that he was "treated differently than other guests on the show" and that DeGeneres was "cold and distant" (cry me a river). De Jager is a Dutch YouTube beauty and make-up influencer while Drossaers is some sort of Dutch internet personality.

God's punishment can't be too far away at this point in time.

Pray for Pro-Life Political Prisoners!

Four red rose rescuers were sentenced Friday to 45 days in jail in Flint Michigan for a 2019 rescue mission. Their crime? Sitting in the waiting room of a killing center offering the moms help and refusing to leave. Often rescuers go limp rather than walk out of the death chambers identifying with the helpless infants who can't walk out. For that, they were charged with a felony!

The Russian Orthodox Perception of the Fatima Message

"The Reigning Icon" of the Mother of God
(see below)

1) I like to look at things from "the other side" every once in awhile.
2) This is merely an article from one Russian Orthodox Priest Outside Russia (ROCOR)
3) I assume that the Orthodox look at the Roman Catholic Church today the same way they currently look at the Collective West.
4) I thought this perspective interesting and agreed with statements highlighted in yellow.
5) I'm sick of being lied to. Perhaps the Orthodox interpretation of Fatima is closer to the truth than the lies we're told to believe.

The True Message of Fatima?

Introduction

In six visions over a period of six months in 1917 three peasant children from a Portuguese village were told by the Mother of God of the destiny of a country called Russia. These shepherd children, who had never been to Lisbon, let alone heard of Russia, came to hear of this at the most important turning-point in the history of that country. Coincidence?

Sudden Death is the New Pandemic. What's the Cause? It's a No-Brainer!

For two very informative videos, go to https://darrellhines.net/2021/05/15/urgent-alert-the-astonishing-cover-up-of-covid-vaccine-deaths-and-reactions-reported-deaths-have-increased-by-six-thousand-6000-since-2020-david-icke/

I was on Facebook earlier today reading posts asking for prayers for friends and family members who "died suddenly" and died young. Every time I see that my first thought is, "Did he/she get the jab?" The deadly vax deniers, led by Fauci and Big Government and Big Pharma, continue to play let's pretend this is all normal. Meanwhile, the truth tellers continue to be slandered and deplatformed while the population-reduction crowd continues to call for more and younger victims.

The Voyeurs at Church Militant and their Graphic and Salacious "Porn"

Earlier this month I received an email from a regular blog reader about the Church Militant (CM) "porn site." Here's what my contact wrote:

Good day Mary Ann,

I hope this note finds you well. You’ve probably seen it already but if not, Frank Walker at Canon 212 has a red headline about the latest Christine Niles attack on the SSPX. I quickly glanced at it because I don’t want to be a metric in their favor. Long story short, the allegations in this article are WAY too graphic. I stand by my earlier opinion that CM is a porn site. At some point, I hope the SSPX will sue them.

Take care and have a good day,

Is the SSPX "Out of the Boat?" A Modern Parable

Recently I had a conversation with a priest in which we were discussing the situation with the SSPX. He described them as being "out of the boat." I've been thinking about that metaphor for several days and, really, I don't think it's true.

Boycott the Catholic (sic) Campaign for Human Development Collection

They call themselves "Catholic" while they give generous grants to promote intrinsic evils that undermine the faith. Don't let your hard-earned money be used to attack the faith. It becomes literal blood money to enable abortion and the gay agenda that surgically destroys children. Do you want to be part of that?

Monday Morning: Another Week to Serve the Lord

Give up a glass of wine with dinner?
My thoughts are all over the place this morning -- this very early morning. Sleep and I have become strangers. Last week I had multiple four-hour nights. It reminded me of Fr. John Hardon, that zealous Jesuit beloved by so many, who rarely slept more than four hours a night. His superior had to order him to do that.

When I ask myself why I'm having sleep issues again, I remember how negligent I am at voluntary penance. I generally practice temperance, but fasting? Give up that Hershey kiss or that glass of Merlot with dinner? Well...maybe I can give it up for the next thirty minutes.

Pope Francis Blather vs. Clear and Transparent Teaching

Archbishop Marcel Lefebvre, defender of Doctrine and Sacred Tradition

Have you waded through any of the recent Vatican documents that appear under Pope Francis' name? Let's face it; Francis doesn't write them. But he employs some of the most blathering voices on the planet. I try to read the documents, but bang my head on the wall when I see Laudato Si's 246 paragraphs or the 325 paragraphs of Amoris Laetitia. (Poor Topsy and Tuptim get totally bogged down wading through them.) Of course there is the tyrannical and short Traditionis Custodes, only two pages with footnotes. The fall of the guillotine only takes a few seconds after all.

Guest Post: When the Bishop Becomes a Dictator

Traditionis Custodes threw the TLM out of our churches. The new "home" for the stepchildren is a gym or a classroom. "No church for you rigid, pharisaical tradition lovers!

By Fr. Bill Aitcheson

Recently, the Arlington Diocesan bishop warned the twenty-one priests who celebrate the Traditional Latin Mass (TLM) in his jurisdiction, that their celebrations of the TLM are going to be severely curtailed. Essentially, there will only be eight public locations for the TLM and most of them will not be allowed in a parish church. The TLM will only be celebrated in these eight places and the times of celebration are not to be published in the parish bulletin. The attempted suppression of the TLM is by order of Jorge Bergoglio in conformity with his shameful tome, Traditionis custodes and its interpretation found in the Congregation for Divine Worship's Responsa ad dubia.

We All Need a Laugh after the Election. Check Out This Hilarious Article on Beto

Will we see the three-time loser in Louisiana next? New Orleans is a hotbed of perversity. He'd fit right in there. Maybe they'd elect him to the town council or the local school board. He can work to get policies into the classroom to get kids to cut off their genitals in a "let's pretend we can turn ourselves into the other sex" game. Let's pray that the narcissistic loser and pretender's political career is done! And then let's pray for the even more important goal that he repents and embraces the truth before he faces the Just Judge.

And speaking of Beto and his perverse positions....

Fr. Tom Weighs in on Yesterday's Election. Was it Fair and Fraud Free?

Election officials around the country have had over 600 days to prepare for yesterday’s elections. Yet again, many of them in Democrat controlled areas had unsecure and malfunctioning voting machines “counting” votes (and possibly programmed to shift votes to Democrats, as they did in 2020). Also, in Arizona, apparently voters standing in line long before the polls closed (while machines were allegedly being “fixed”), were denied their right to vote, as election officials promptly closed voting sites at 7:00 PM.

This is just one more example of how “social justice” actually works. It justifies denying individuals the ability to exercise their rights for the sake of what elitists assert to be the common good of humanity.

Sadly, it also seems that the Synod on Synodality is being conducted in the same way.

Catholic are asked for input, which is then tabulated and interpreted by ecclesiastical elitists. Then, on the basis of a contrived “consensus”, these same elitists insist that we need to replace fidelity and accountability to the whole truth of God with a new paradigm of incremental capitulation to the perverse agendas of the New World Order. They allege that the modern Church must learn to “empty herself” of her “judgmental moral rigorism” and “doctrinal dogmatism”, so as to become more open to the “wisdom” being so boldly proclaimed by secular  society and the elitists of the New World Order.

Never before has the prayer, “deliver us from evil”, been so urgent.

God save us!

Fr. Tom

Another Leak in the New Church dike: The Ordination of Dom Alcuin Reid

Last May, a clandestine ordination took place when an unnamed bishop conferred the priesthood on Dom Alcuin Reid, a scholar of international stature. Catholic World Report describes him on their author's page:
Dom Alcuin Reid is the founding Prior of the Monastère Saint-Benoît in the diocese of Fréjus-Toulon, France, and a liturgical scholar of international renown. His principle work, The Organic Development of the Liturgy (Ignatius Press, 2005) carries a preface by Joseph Cardinal Ratzinger.

The video below explains the reasons that Dom Reid disobeyed his bishop, Dominique Rey, in order to protect the monastery and do his duty of being able to provide daily Mass for the monks.

Is This the Smoking Gun Identifying an Act of War by the U.S. Blowing Up the Nord Stream Pipeline?

Exclusive: U.S. Torpedo Appeared at Explosion Site of the Nord Stream

I find the Lew Rockwell site reliable and generally check their articles every morning. This article describing the movements of the destroyer, USS Paul Ignatius, and the finding of U.S. torpedo remnants near the explosion site are compelling. Study the timeline in the image. Democrat Violence -- Are We Surprised? They Burn Cities, Kill Cops, Why Wouldn't they Choke this Woman?

Errors of the Communist West vs Orthodox Christian Russia

Russian Orthodox Church in honor of
the Transfiguration of the Lord
Western Siberia

Part I

Let's not start the Fatima Consecration controversy in the comment section below since that isn't what this post is about. Instead briefly let's look at historical facts that happened after Pope John Paul II's March 25, 1984, Consecration then move on to facts of the current situation today.

The short rundown of historical facts after John Paul II's March 25, 1984, Consecration of the World and with it Russia are as follows:

On May 13, 1984, one of the largest crowds in Fatima history gathers at the shrine in Portugal to pray the Rosary for peace and on the same day, May 13, 1984, an explosion at the Soviets’ Severomorsk Naval Base destroys two-thirds of all the missiles stockpiled for the Soviets’ Northern Fleet. The blast also destroys workshops needed to maintain the missiles as well as hundreds of scientists and technicians. Western military experts called it the worst naval disaster the Soviet Navy has suffered since WWII.

On December 1984, Soviet Defense Minister, mastermind of the invasion plans for Western Europe, suddenly and mysteriously dies, March 10, 1985, Soviet Chairman Konstantin Chernenko dies, March 11, 1985, Soviet Chairman Mikhail Gorbachev, a baptized Christian, is elected.

Helping the hungry to give thanks, and not only on Turkey Day

As we express gratitude at the table for blessings, here's a memory of one broken man who swept the groaning board with an idea.

PHOENIX — With Thanksgiving heading toward us, a time officially to be grateful, let’s recall a man who put food on tables all year long around the world after having an idea that was hiding out in plain sight and was as simple as saying: if you want to play ball, lace your shoes. Simple, but previously overlooked.
