They Gave the Last Full Measure! Pray for the Fallen Who Died in Service to God, Family, and Country.
My dad lost many of his classmates in the attack on Pearl Harbor. I thank God he wasn't on the Arizona or the only one of the ten children he and my mom reared would be the oldest, my brother Ray, who was in utero that day. May God have mercy on all those we remember today. I plan to visit a cemetery and say a Hail Mary at the graves of those who died in battle in any of our wars. May the souls of the faithful departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace.

Dr. Peter McCullough asks why stakeholders "want a needle in every arm?"
As I watched the video, it seemed to me that the vaccine is looking more and more to me like the "mark of the beast," and more and more prominent physicians are warning against it.

"Through Christ the eyes of our hearts are opened, and our weak and clouded understanding reaches up toward the light."
St. Clement, Letter to the Corinthians
We live in challenging times, but we are not the first. St. Clement was a pope and martyr. He's mentioned in the Roman Canon of the Mass and was the fourth to sit in Peter's chair. Murdered under the reign of Trajan, he was joined by tens of thousands of other Christians including St. Ignatius of Antioch who died about ten years later. The first century was, indeed, a bloody time and Trajan one of the most eager to persecute, even his own faithful lieutenants:

Do you know what's in the Moderna jab? Check out Lew Rockwell. Here's a bit:
It’s called SM-102.
Verifying that it is in the Moderna COVID vaccine, I find a 12/30/20 CDC document titled: “COVID-19 Vaccines: Update on Allergic Reactions, Contraindications, and Precautions.”
To Moongold: [Secretly I call her Moonbat.] Let's get a few things straight. Mary Ann and I are two different people. Les Femmes is Mary Ann Kreitzer's blog. She's the blog owner and administrator therefore as such has the power to see all comments and post them or not. She lives in Virginia. I live in Florida. I am a contributor on the blog and only am able to post articles, make comments, and correct my own documents.
To Everyone Else: This past week two people, "Moongold" and "Abe" commented on a post I did that is nearly 4 years old. "Abe's" comments were so vile that Mary Ann would not post them. I had had massive computer problems for 10 days which were so bad that I ended up buying a new computer and changing internet providers. Meanwhile I subsisted on my little Fire tablet as Mary Ann took on
Moonbat Moongold. I made 2 short comments from my tablet, then the last longer one from the new computer.

I expect most of us remember the experience of being at an amusement park or County Fair and going through the "Fun House Hall of Mirrors." Suddenly you see a strange person in front of you. Then you realize it's you, a distorted and strange caricature of yourself.

The other day I wrote about happiness and the etymology of the word from Middle English meaning "luck, prosperity, and advantageous circumstances." That association can't hold up. Wealth and happiness are often mutually exclusive. How many rich people do you know or read about whose lives are a mess and families are miserable? Think of Hollywood, a glamorous hellhole filled with prosperous, unhappy people. A long-term marriage is rare, divorce and cohabitation the norm. How many wealthy people seek oblivion in drugs and alcohol. How many are addicted to sex and pornography? How many commit suicide?

Is Jeff Bezos, the richest man in the world, happy?
The Declaration of Independence says we have the unalienable right to "life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness." We all want to be happy, don't we? Does anyone want to be sad and miserable? But what does it mean to be happy?
The word comes from Middle English and ironically it's linked to luck. Etymonline writes this about happy:

"A lie told once remains a lie, but a lie told a thousand times becomes the truth."
Joseph GoebbelsI'm reading an interesting article this morning from Hillsdale College's Imprimis. (By the way, if you never studied Latin, imprimis means "among the first things.")
The article, Science, Politics and COVID: Will Truth Prevail? was authored by Scott Atlas, who worked on the Trump administration's Coronavirus Task Force until he was defamed and drummed out by the anti-science idealogues and their no-nothing media allies! The article is fascinating and I recommend reading it in full, but will give a synopsis. Here's part of his opening, putting the article in perspective:

Do you know where the train you're on is heading?
Regular readers know I'm a fan of Chronicles Magazine. I don't agree with everything all the time, but their train is going in the right direction and I'm happy to be a passenger enjoying many of their contributors. Paul Gottfried had a great editorial in the March issue called What the Right Needs Now. He points out the many failures of conservatives in their rush to make nice with the left and the relative few among them, like Rush Limbaugh, who refused to follow suit. Gottfried offers a prescription for rebuilding:

Well, that was long ago, and today "See, I told you so" is my favorite expression. It just feels so good to say it, so today, just one day after posting THIS, I am feeling really really great.
Since I am just me, a mother and a grandmother, who long ago majored in English then immediately went out into the world to gallop race horses for a living (my mother: "We sent you to university for this?") and do not have a degree in theology, philosophy, doctrine, Canon Law, Church management, etc,, but only learned through the School of Hard Knocks (I have a PhD in that), I am apparently not to be taken seriously...since only if all those letters were after my name would I be worthy of being listened to.
Then there is THIS from the Qur'an.
Therefore I say, "SEE, I told you so". Historically, People of the Book were only the Christians and the Jews, not adherents of Islam, therefore we are not all (Christians, Jews, Muslims) "people of the book". Even Muhammad said it. So if you don't believe Robert Spencer or me, you can believe Muhammad himself:
And argue not with the people of the Scripture (Jews and Christians), unless it be in (a way) that is better (with good words and in good manner, inviting them to Islamic Monotheism with His Verses), except with such of them as do wrong, and say (to them): "We believe in that which has been revealed to us and revealed to you; our Ilah (God) and your Ilah (God) is One (i.e. Allah), and to Him we have submitted (as Muslims). (Qur'an 29:46)
Nothing like having Muhammad the Liar backing up the historical truth.
....and shouldn't even have more than a few family members for outside 4th of July celebrations? He and DOCTOR Biden meet with two vulnerable, elderly people without masks and not social distancing? Not only that, but isn't this the president who tells us we should avoid unnecessary travel? This photo says it all. It defines extreme hypocrisy! They don't believe their own fear-mongering hype!

This is the biggest lie ever told.
If we think about "people of the book" in reference to texts used in each religion, the term is negated since all three religions use and believe in a different book - OT for Jews, NT and OT for Christians, Quran for Muslims. The truth is that in his Quran Muhammad planted an ancient term already in use among the Arabs of his day which over later centuries, especially the past 100 years of Islamic influence bearing down upon mankind, morphed into the erroneous belief that all three religions have the same transcendent source, the same God, and the same line of prophets with Muhammad being the best and last of them all. However the unspoken message when agreeing that we are all "People of the Book" is: "and Muhammad is our prophet because Islam is the one true faith." Why does modern man rely on political correctness for their world view, social media for their opinions, and biased leftist academic books for their history? When utilizing those devices, the truth is never discovered. It lies untouched in the dusty realm of past centuries while revisionist "history" is deviously fabricated.

Yes, people die from Covid. Guess what, people die from a lot of things. In fact, SURPRISE! No one gets out of this life alive! What is your actual mortality risk from the virus? That depends. For some it's miniscule:
