Ending Roe Did NOT End Abortion on Demand

Instead it resulted in a return to the coathanger era. Abortion drugs are, indeed, the new bloody  coathanger. Abortions using telemed services and abortion-inducing chemicals leave women unsupervised by any medical providers. The mothers kill their babies at home, expel the little one in the toilet, then flush them away to pollute our water systems.

Are these abortions safe, legal, and rare? Legal, yes, in most places. And even in states where they aren't, little can be done to stop them. Are they rare? No. In 2023, the estimate was that six out of ten abortions (600,000 or more) were by pill.

And are they safe? Absolutely not! According to insurance data one in ten women experiences a serious adverse effect. Check out this data. Close to 100,000 women experienced serious, sometimes life-threatening, complications :

  • This largest-known study of the abortion pill is based on analysis of data from an all-payer insurance claims database that includes 865,727 prescribed mifepristone abortions from 2017 to 2023.
  • 10.93 percent of women experience sepsis, infection, hemorrhaging, or another serious adverse event within 45 days following a mifepristone abortion.
  • The real-world rate of serious adverse events following mifepristone abortions is at least 22 times as high as the summary figure of “less than 0.5 percent” in clinical trials reported on the drug label.
Are we surprised when Big Pharma lies about their drugs? Haven't we learned to suspect their claims after what happened with the COVID gene therapy?

Bob Marshall, former Virginia state senator, co-authored a piece at the Washington Stand with a grim picture of the ongoing abortion holocaust:

The states right approach is not working to protect babies and their moms. But there are still laws on the books which could allow the federal government to stop the carnage. The Comstock Laws, passed by a mostly Protestant legislature in the 19th century, have never been rescinded. Among other things, they addressed the issue of using the U.S. mail to distribute contraceptives and abortifacients. They are mostly ignored, but could be used by the federal government to provide real protection for babies and their mothers. Read Bob's article. Ending abortion begins with knowledge. Not everyone can rescue at an abortion facility or sidewalk counsel or work in a crisis pregnancy center. But we can all share the truth about abortion and pray that people will respond to the truth and work for the protection of God's littlest ones.

May Jesus Christ be praised, now and forever.
